Awwh, well this was no fun. Everyone seemed to be setting out on their own. Oh well, that's what she got for not knowing people, or having a partner. It struck her odd that Team Rocket seemed to be an organization of mostly loners. They'd all hitched their horses to the same cart, it was work together or go down in flames together.
Eh, didn't really matter much at this point. At least she was off the base. She closed her eyes and inhaled. Yup, this was nice.
Shamelessly, she stripped out of her uniform as she walked away, revealing the skin tight workout clothes underneath. With the shed uniform stuffed securely away in her pack, she added a pair of sunglasses, the finishing touch. Thus adorned, she looked like a typical triathlete. She removed three of her pokeballs and called out the pokemon within. Gengar, shuppet, and totodile succesfully summoned, she laid out her plans.
"Gest, you're on sneak attack duty." The Gengar saluted, then slipped into Sam's shadow to hide.
"Teru, you're high and wide, keep an eye on our backs, okay?" Teru bobbed up and down, before drifting up into the tree tops.
Sam fixed Rio with a sour look. "Behave. There's a lake ahead, but we're not here to play. We're going for a jog." With a glance at her dex, to make sure she was headed in the direction of the lake, Sam set off. Her pace was leisurely enough to make sure her pokemon could keep up.

The bird call caught the trainer's attention for a moment and she turned that direction. It didn't sound quite right, like something she hadn't heard before. However, her attention was riveted to the beautiful Pidgeot ones again as it landed and began to preen. "Oh! What an unusual and beautiful specimen!" The girl then reached into her bag and pulled out a camera, snapping photos.

Hmm, photos.. Why was Claire surprised? She shouldn't be - any bird enthusiast (which this girl certainly seemed to be) would more than likely carry a camera with her at all times to photograph unusual or uncommon birds. Oh well. Maybe she could get Zeus to snatch the camera, too... Either way, their attack would be swift. There would be no beating around the bush with this small troupe.
Odette was positively basking in the attention - no one had ever taken her picture before! She couldn't help but ruffle her feathers with a lot more of a flourish than usual, half-turning and spreading her wings out to 'stretch' them. Showing off was one of her favorite past-times.
While the girl was obviously quite distracted with Odette, Zeus quietly trotted over behind her as swiftly and silently as he could. "Pikachuuu!" He had intentionally bumped into the trainer's leg and attempted to send a shock through her, a sort of dulled Thunder Wave (he didn't want to use a full one, in case it really hurt her instead of just paralyzing her for a while), and hoped that would knock her off her feet. At the same time, he sent a Thundershock in Odette's general direction, aiming to miss.
Catching her next cue, the golden bird turned and flared up at the sight of the electric-type, flapping her wings a few times in anger at the threat - which she knew he wasn't, of course - and easily avoided the Thundershock he sent her way. Digging her talons into the ground beneath her, she quickly whipped up a vortex of dirt and sand in a Sand Attack to limit the trainer's visibility. Hopefully Zeus could still see as soon as he was sure that their target was incapacitated.

They were pretty close to the route now, but still hidden from view by trees and bushes. Straining his ears for any small sound which might indicated that a trainer was nearby, Frost came to a halt. Humm. What to do now? After a few moments of busy thought, the blond nodded to himself and then turned his attention onto Skiron. As the glaceon watched him expectantly, Frost held up three fingers, and the ice type nodded understanding.
While his trainer remained where he was, Skiron moved closer to the route, feigning a limp. With his bright white fur so obviously out of place in the jungle, it probably wouldn't be too long before some trainer or other noticed the 'poor hurt and lost little glaceon'. Stepping out onto the path properly Skiron made a pathetic little noise, and continued to wander around dazedly.
Well-hidden behind a thick bush, Frost watched his pokemon partner depart with the focused intensity of a predator wating for its packmate to spring a trap. It was an old, cliched trick of course, but the reason it had become old and cliched was because it worked. Standing stock still he waited for Skiron's signal, either that he had found a mark, or that there was nobody nearby and that they needed to move further along the route.

"Eek!" The trainer squeaked out in surprise at the shock, her muscles tensing up and allowing for her to fall backward onto her rear. Then the Pidgeot started doing a sand attack, to which the girl raised her arms to protect her eyes from the onslaught of sand. "Hey! Stop it!" Patience for the other Rockets would eventually pay off as then another person started coming down the route. A young boy wearing shorts who was whistling a tune to himself.

"Pidgeooo!" Odette cried in a tone filled with as much dismay as she could possibly fake, continuing the sand attack.
Zeus grumbled, disliking the sand but he didn't need to see to be able to tell where his targets were. Hearing the heavy thud the trainer made as she fell, he 'accidentally' bumped into her side again before hopping onto her stomach. As he reached towards her belt he gave as loud and menacing a growl that he could possibly muster, attempting to drown out the light click that was sure to sound when he tried to pull several pokeballs from her belt.
Hmm...
With another growl, he gave her another light shock, just in case.

Rocket Agent Seth Patience for the other Rockets would eventually pay off as then another person started coming down the route. A young boy wearing shorts who was whistling a tune to himself. Skiron's ears pricked up at the cheerful little melody, and he turned to hobble in the direction of the noise, giving another pathetic whine for good measure. It wasn't too long before he spotted the whistler; a small human in short trousers. Looked pretty soft. Skiron keened once more and stopped where he was, giving the boy a wary look; he was such a sore little glaceon, but he wasn't sure if he could trust this person!
Back among the foliage to the side of the route, Frost was moving forward slowly and quietly. He wished he'd brought some kind of camoflage with him, but hindsight was 20:20, and he probably didn't really need it anyway. The approaching whistler would be focused on Skiron if they had any compassion, and provided they didn't have too much paranoia along with it they wouldn't be looking at the edge of the road... Hopefully. He wished he could see the mark to get a feel for them, but as of yet they were as well hidden from his view as he hoped he was from theirs. Still, Skiron had called for him to move along, so one presumed that a) the target looked vaguely worthwhile and b) they didn't look like too much trouble for the pair to handle.

Dazed and unhappy, the trainer groaned slightly and then made an displeased sound when the Pikachu got on her stomach. "ACK! GET IT OFF!" she shrieked! Although her muscles were stiff from the thunderwave and her struggles were somewhat limited. Still, it didn't make it completely easy to get her pokeballs off, despite her limited movement and sight. "OUCH!" She shrieked as she was shocked again. The pokeballs on her belt coming free. It didn't take long for the youngster to notice the Glaceon hobbling into his path. The boy paused and blinked before rushing over to the Pokemon's side. "Hey little guy are you okay? What happened?" He asked as he bent down to look the Eeveelution over. Surely this wasn't a wild Pokemon though. "Where's your trainer he asked," taking a moment to look around. Further down the route there was the sound of a loud engine and it was drawing closer. A man on a motorcycle was drawing near.

"Glaaaaae?" Skiron blinked up at the young trainer and backed off, scanning for any easily accessible pokeballs; if he could just grab a couple and be off so much the better and if not... Well, he'd just have to hope that whatever the boy threw at him was something he could handle.
Now not too far from the road, Frost lurked behind a thick-ish bush rather than going closer right away. If there was a chance to just grab some pokeballs Skiron would take it and return them to him with the speed granted by a quick attack. If there wasn't, on the other hand, he needed to be close enough to dash in and start giving his partner battle orders. He hoped for the former at least to begin with (Skiron couldn't grab a full six if the mark happened to have six just hanging from his belt), but was quite prepared for the metaphorical dung to hit the metaphorical air-conditioning unit... If the boy was tougher than he looked, he hoped he could attract the attention of some of his fellow Rockets to come to his aid. Pride was no good to you if you were unconscious, and in the process of being dragged off to a police station.

Rocket Agent Seth Further down the route there was the sound of a loud engine and it was drawing closer. A man on a motorcycle was drawing near. One knee pressed into the dirt, with hazel eyes locked, motionless as the small strip of path she could see through the heavy brush she had settled herself behind. The Grunt had one hand settled on the white mane of her Absol, who sat at her left, head bowed below his shoulder as his own hard fixed stare locked onto the sliver of path. At her other side, her Umbreon sat, red eyes narrowed, and slowly moving as he silently glanced around the Forest, ears perking and, or fanning back in concentration. Faleen was in no rush, content to sit and wait for her opportunity; even so, she was starting to wonder how many people would wander down this path. It wasn’t long after that, then she heard a soft “Shup shup” from over her head, glancing to the side to see her dark colored Shuppet floating over to her, wavering from side to side before turning to look back the way he had come, a clear indication that he had spotted someone coming up the road. Eyes widening, she felt her head best start to pick up a little more, leaning forward into her knee to get a glance down the road. She couldn’t see anything yet, but she did hear something… engine, yes it was an engine, but not from a car, from a motorcycle, a type of large cruiser from what she could gather. Meaning she was going to be crossing paths with a biker. “Hmm” This didn’t detour her, she had but a few moments to figure out her next move, and she wasn’t going to waist it. Turning her attention to the area around her instead, she narrowed her eyes softly, before pushing herself to her feet, pointing to a tree that was closest to the edge of the path. “Absol, Umbreon, knock that tree own over the road” she ordered them, pointing to the tree she meant for them to attack. Without hesitation the two dark types darted forward, throwing any of the slashing moves they knew at the Tree. Absol being the most efficient with his Night Slash and Ariel ace onto the trunk, then again Absol’s attacks always had been naturally more powerful then Umbreon’s. Faleen watched as the tree, creaked, falling with a crash that unsettled the dirt below with a finally hit from Umbreon. “Come” She then told her pokemon, with a pleased grin after surveying the road completely blocked off. Umbreon and Absol at her heels as she hurried to crouch down into the set of bushes on the side the biker would probably slow down, or stop. Shuppet once again twirling from visible sight. Here Faleen waited.

Claire peered through the leaves of the bush in front of her, starting to worry whether or not Zeus would be capable of the task she'd assigned to him. Why wasn't he done yet?
Odette wavered, shouldn't he be done by now? How hard could it be? Run in, shock her, grab the balls, then get out! What was taking so long? Regardless, she kept up her sand attack, loosing another loud call to sound as if she was attempting to scare the rogue pikachu off.
This wasn't good. He hadn't realized how difficult it would be to get a few pokeballs off of a belt, but now that he was in this mess, he had to get out, and coming back empty-pawed was not an option. With another angry 'chu!' he loosed another shock at the girl before giving a final, hard tug on the pokeballs, and suddenly found himself on his rump on the ground. He jumped up quickly, looking to see if he'd managed to free any pokeballs from the girl's belt. As long as there was at least one he could grab and dash away with, he'd be good! Mmm, he could taste those triple chocolate cookies already!

The belt came off with a final tug of the Pikachu's mouth. But naturally the trainer noticed the lack of weight on her waist once they were gone. "HEY! My Pokemon!" she wailed, groping around trying to grab her belt or the Pikachu or something. Trying to get her belt back. However, the paralysis made that difficult, and she was semi blinded by all the sand in the air. When the Glaceon backed up, the boy frowned. "I'm just trying to help, little guy." The boy told the limping Pokemon. However, something didn't seem right. Either the Pokemon was scared or him or something else. "I need to get you to a Pokemon Center." Since the Pokemon was hurt, it obviously would be weakened. Thus the boy did throw something at the Glaceon... a Pokeball. With the tree falling into his path, the biker had little choice but to come skidding to a stop. "'ey what gives?" The burly man getting off his bike and shutting off the motor to survey the fallen log that was in the middle of the road. On another part of the route, a man with a walking stick was coming down from the hills to walk the main path.

Rocket Agent Seth On another part of the route, a man with a walking stick was coming down from the hills to walk the main path. Aila noticed the rustling of the bushes ahead and prepared herself, feigning surprise when the man appeared on the main road, "Ah!" She started backwards a step, raising a hand to her chest to imitate settling her heartbeat. "Goodness! You surprised me, sir!" Fleur and Revenant watched the act intently yet patiently, each from their respective station. "Um, actually, if it's all right, could I ask you where we are right now? Flower and me are a little lost..." A somewhat plaintive smile accompanied her request, fingers laced together in mock pleading. Under her cool exterior, honed by her studies of theater, her heart raced and she prayed for the success of her performance.

My Pokemon!" she wailed, groping around trying to grab her belt or the Pikachu or something. Trying to get her belt back. However, the paralysis made that difficult, and she was semi blinded by all the sand in the air. Finally! Zeus swiftly jumped up onto all fours, dodged the girl's groping hands and he grabbed the middle of the belt in his mouth, then bolted as fast as his little legs could carry him over to Claire, who was ready to intercept him. She gave him a silent thumbs up before she grabbed the belt from him, holding her prize tightly before giving another command to Odette through the use of another bird call, this one sounding more like the trill of some sort of owl. Zeus took the opportunity to jump onto Claire's arm and climb up onto her shoulder. He'd done all the work, there was no way he was walking back. With that, she quickly and quietly hurried back towards the group of jeeps.
Once she was a good several yards away from Odette and their victim, she paused, making sure she was definitely out of sight from the cloud of dust, before she made another bird call to Odette, a different one than before.
Odette perked up upon hearing the next fake call and, with a few extra hard flaps of her wings to shoot more sand at the girl on the ground, the golden Pidgeot swooped out over the trees towards where the call came from as Claire grabbed Odette's pokeball out from her bag. With one fluid motion, the grunt pressed the middle button twice and aimed it at the bird as she flew closer, pulling her inside with a flash of red light. She minimized it and stuffed it back into her bag before running quietly, just in case, in a zigzagging pattern towards the jeeps. There was no way she'd let some bumbling girl follow her back to their current post.
After a few moments of running she paused again and turned, making sure they weren't being followed, before she took a good look at the belt in her hands. She hadn't looked at it when Zeus brought it to her except to make sure there were pokeballs on it, so now she wanted to see just how many there were, and how many of them actually contained a pokemon. Hmm...

Either the Pokemon was scared or him or something else. "I need to get you to a Pokemon Center." Since the Pokemon was hurt, it obviously would be weakened. Thus the boy did throw something at the Glaceon... a Pokeball. Well that hadn't been the plan. Time for plan B. As the pokeball sailed towards him, Skiron gave a low growl and shot forwards and past the boy with a Quick Attack; cover most definitely blown. Spinning around, the glaceon kept scanning for a pokeball he could steal. If the shot-trousers boy decided to battle him, he could try to grab the ball of whatever was sent out against him, but it would be easier if he could get out of this without a fight.
...Blast. As he heard the distinctive woosh of his partner moving at very high speed, Frost edged closer to the path. What were the chances of getting out of this without showing himself and or a battle? Not very high. Ah well, you couldn't have a smooth snatch and grab every time, not everyone had the decency to keep their pokeballs in plain sight... Still, if they weren't in plain sight, when he grabbed one to battle with Skiron, both he and his partner would have a good indication of where others could be... And if it all really went to pot, at least there were other Rockets around who could come to their rescue. It would be embarrassing, especially on their very first mission in the area, but better than the alternative. Tension thrumming through every inch of his body, Frost waited to see what would happen next.
