Len Richardson may seem like a bad teacher, but, he didn't know. "Even though this is called a class. It's more like a lecture that continues on and on. Students can skip class because most of what I lecture about is talked about in other classes. That is all, but, the veil lecture."

"Hmm, so I could just come to this lecture, and not any other classes." Tritch said grinning. She was joking, but it wasn't a bad thought. "But of course, I'm guessing you won't be lecturing us on drama would you." She said smiling.

"Nor is drama on the warlock exams. You should go to the other classes because they teach more about a subject than I will. The exams are not a walk in the park."

Tritch nodded. "I was joking, but I'm not sure if I will pass it going to all the classes." She said truthfully. The exam sounds like a hell waiting to happen. She thought. "And what happens if you don't pass?" She asked. Trying to plan out her life from the point if she doesn't pass.

"You can keep trying until you die. No one things a high school will pass it. In fact only 10% of witches or wizards become warlocks." The man answered. His glasses started to fall a bit and the man returned them to his nose with a push.

Tritch chuckled as he pushed his glasses back up. "So what happens if you don't, and don't try again?" She asked. Now I'm almost positive I won't pass." She thought, her face frowning for a second.

"Unless you publish an impressive research paper. Then you'll never become a Warlock. Good news. Reed has the highest rate of graduate rate for students turning into warlocks."

Tritch laughed. "Good thing." She muttered, thinking it was to low for anybody to really hear. She then straitened up, and looked back up at him. "So whats the difference between a witch and a warlock? As you can probably tell, I don't do a lot with my magic." She told the vice principle.

Right new witch. It was much like he was at that age. "A witch is a young female magic user who has no genetic difference from a human. A female version of a wizard. While a Warlock is a witch or wizard who has proven themselves worthy of great power through their work and intelligence." The man gave a textbook answer.

Tritch scoffed. "Yea, don't think I'm going to become a warlock." She said rolling her eyes. Worthiness? Nope. Intelligent? Maybe. She thought. Tritch was usually highly critical about herself, but she usually didn't let people see that.

Mr. Richardson frowned. He would have to disagree. He knew each of his students could do anything with the right guidance. "Oh you well. With proper learning. The exam is put into sections. All you have to do is pass two section and hold a veil then you will become a warlock."

Tritch sighed. "I barely know what a veil is. And besides, I have never used my magic unless I was scared, or angry. And that doesn't happen much." She said, relaxing in her chair. Whatever, he doesn't need to understand. She thought, with a little frown on her face.

"That's how my powers were when I first found out. Now it use your magic you need emotion. Bliss and happiness as well as darkness is needed. Focus your thoughts on what you want. I suggest a wand to help you focus your powers into something manageable for the time being. Then you feel you can go without it then remove the wand." The wizard went to his desk and pulled a wand from one of the drawers. He then handed it to Tritch.

Tritch took the wand. "Bleh, emotion." She said jokingly. "Oh, and thanks for the wand." She said. She took it, turning it this way, and that. "Do you want any money for it? I'm sure I can find some." She said. Feeling the grooves in it, and the turns. ((Do you have a picture of it?))

The man smiled and shook his head. "No. Your scholarship pays for it. Go on give a try." The man encouraged the child. The man smiled and waved his hands. He picked up a book from his desk and it floated to him.
