Jace sighed and held Alex close " I was a slave once and i was beeten for trying to get away but when i got away from my last master i hid for years scared he would find me. i bought you at the auction for 2 reasons 1. because i thought you were cute and 2. you looked so scared and i didn't want you to get hurt
