...Oh. Lesley had been out? Mei's temper cooled and she blushed slightly at the realization. She just felt silly now. She looked at Lesley with a slightly touched expression. "...You got me food?" She wasn't big on sandwiches, but if Lesley bought one for her, she'd eat it. "Th-thank you," she smiled as she took the food.
While Lesley, her new hero, took the bleeding guy away, Mei looked at Paprika. She was just another normal teenage girl, right? Well, if Lesley said she was dangerous, she must have been. "Uh... No thank you, I'm fine," she politely declined Paprika's offer. "...So, weapons?" she asked.

The girl girl reached for her pocket with her empty hand, and took out a pocket knife, setting it in front of Mei... then reached into her other pocket and took out a longer pocket knife and also placed it in front of Mei... then bent down and reached into her boot. Taking out a bayonet. Again she left it for Mei to take. She then took another bite, and a slight awkward silence.
Paprika sucked at small talk. Well Lesley was talking about Dr. Finn the whole drive there. Of course she never said Dr. Finn, or that he was a man. So Paprika could assume and not just be in an awkward silence! "So are you two like..." She held out her index finger with the hand she held the sandwich, then made a circle with her other hand with her index and thumb... and put the finger in the circle, implying sex. "Then again you're girls..." She said, shoving the rest of the sandwich in her mouth. Then made connected both index and thumb into circles, and stared at them. "...." She stared some more. "How do you uh. Do that."

Mei stared at the weapons that now sat on top of her desk. Uhm, what was she supposed to do with them now? Maybe keep them under the desk, like she did with packages or purses? Maybe? She stared at the items intently until Paprika spoke again.
"Oh, you know, it's not that different than if a man and a woman--wait, what?" Mei interrupted herself. "Are you talking about me and Lesley? No, no, no, no," she shook her head and waved her hand back and forth, "Lesley likes the Doctor. I think. I'm not really good with that sort of thing, but I kind of get a feeling that she may admire him or something..." Why was she saying this? Because she felt uncomfortable, and it was making her talkative. "Why would you think..." No, she didn't need to know. Or rather, she'd rather not. "So, you're crazy?" she changed the subject. And kind of failed.

Paprika wasn't even a tease; she always delivered on stickam. She just never had any real experience... and had the body of someone who did. "She was going on about how she works with two people she would uhh... her exact words were; love to bang or something like that. It was weird." She said with a nod, then looked at Mei intensely. Yeah I guess."
Another awkward silence. "...How are the psyche ward thing here? Guessing it's not big since the place is kind of small... do you guys even have 24 hour staff?" Probably not.

Mei simply just ignored Paprika's words; it was an odd preservation reflex of hers. She hated conflict, and changing the status quo, and things becoming needlessly complicated, so if she sensed something like that coming, she turned off her brain. Lesley said what now? Ahh, it didn't matter, in fact, Paprika hadn't even said anything at all! It worked for the most part, aside from making her extra dense when it came to most things. Her only girlfriend had actually broken up with her about a dozen times before it actually got through.
"Well, sometimes we stay overnight to watch movies, and sometimes if I lock myself out of my apartment or I'm too tired to get home, I'll sleep here..." She had misunderstood the meaning of 24 hour staff. "But you know, this place never stops being impressive. I've worked here for a few seasons now, and I had no idea we had a psyche ward!" she chirped with a hint of pride. "I'm not entirely sure what that is, anyway. Is it like a terminal disease or something?" Mei wasn't stupid, it was just that her English classes rarely covered hospital terminology, so it was a common thing for her to not fully understand what people said around her.

/LETS SKIP A FEW DAYS? XD NOT LIKE SOMETHING'S HAPPENING. ★ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ★ Just another quiet day at the clinic...
Until Lesley kicked the door open, carrying a huge brown cardboard box, she quickly ran to the receptionist's counter and put the box there, then ran out again! She came back in bringing the boxes in total. She then scurried around the counter to be next to Mei. "Okay my little fortune cookie! So you know how Paprika is here all day everyday, and we don't have someone around at all hours to keep an eye on her?! WELL her sister came over and it turns out chaining her all night while we're away is against the law, so we can't do that..." She then started to remove some of the contents of the boxes, like a screen and a car battery.
"SO. I was up all night watching TV and realized, how about instead of having to hire more staff, we build a robot to make watch her?! Well Mao thought it was a wicked cool idea since it'll save him tons of money, and now we're building a robot!" Since Mei was asian, Lesley somehow figured that Mei would know how to build robots and how to make shoes... Because Lesley had no idea how robots worked. She just went to a junkyard and put any electronic thing she found into her truck to bring. "So yeah! should be fun! I got cameras to be eyes, annd..." She struggled to remove a submachine gun. "I think we could make this into a hand, and we'll add a chainsaw to it too..."

Mei was startled when Lesley burst in; she had been concentrating on the computer, and hadn't been expecting a loud sound like that. She gave Lesley a bewildered look, along the lines of 'what the hell is wrong with you?' But most of all, she just prayed that the girl didn't assume that she knew how to make one... Of all of the Asian stereotypes, that was one of the most confusing. She wasn't even Japanese or anything!
"Do you... know how to make a robot?" she asked, sounding hopeful. If Mao had approved of it, it couldn't have been too bad, but... "And couldn't Paprika just turn it off?" she tilted her head to the side thoughtfully. Paprika seemed crafty, and whatever piece of crap they would build could probably easily be disassembled by her.
Although Mei was skeptical, she still stood up to poke through the boxes. Where did she find this stuff?

She said, hinting that she thought maybe Mei worked in a sweat shop as a kid. Poor Mei! A sweat shop AND a child prostitute? "Paprika won't be able to turn it off with it's chainsaw arm and submachine gun p***s!" Yeah she decided that the robot would have the gun on it's crotch, so it will j**z out bullets!
She figured that they now had everything out to build a robot, along with a few tools. Lesley reached under the counter and took out a permanent marker, then doodled an angry face. She then looked at Mei very proud of herself. "HEAD DONE!" She nodded, the plan was really to put stuff together until it looked like a robot! That's how robots worked! Which is why she had lots of duct tape!

Aww... it was cute... All of Mei's skepticism and concern faded away... because it was cute! What a cute face! Nothing that cute could be bad, right? Her face softened into a slight pout, as if she were slightly bashful about how cute it was. Without saying anything, she reached under her desk and pulled out the recently cleaned bowl from her lunch and, after wiping it off, held it out for Lesley. "...It needs a hat," she said shyly.

 Dr. Finn St. Jean"That's nonsense." Finn interrupted as he placed papers on Mei's desk for her to file. "A robot capable of watching over a mentally unstable person would take many years to build, as a prototype even." He put his hands up to signify the length of time. "And to market it to east asia would take another several years, maybe even more!" It would probably take a lot longer. Finn was not well educated in engineering.
He spied Lesley's drawing in the corner of his eye. "Ms. Hunter. If you want to build a robot I suggest giving it a face that would not scare little children." Because asian children would have to build them. That's what they were talking about, right?

She didn't think it as cute, she thought she was honestly building a robot right now, just because she put a bowel on it's head. Oh yeah. It's turning out great so far! Lesley crossed her arms at Dr. Finn. Mumbling. "Party pooper, no cake for you." Dr. Finn didn't understand! If it didn't have a cool face like that, it wouldn't make trespassers afraid of it! "Don't be mean! Or we won't let you help us put stickers on it!" She said before walking out quickly. The girl came back this time with two wheels, which she tossed on the floor by Mei's desk. Those would be the feet!
The girl put two pipes between both wheels, then taped it on. She then put a car battery in a broken microwave, then put that on the the pipes. Then duct taped that! Then finally added it's head! It looked awesome!"Now we just gotta put the chainsaw arm, and maybe a vacuum thingie for it's other arm with a claw! Oh and the JETPACK!" She said with a happy little squeal. "We need a name for him!"

Dr. Finn St. JeanBut... he was simply being truthful... Even if it did mean he was a 'party pooper' as Lesley had called it. Finn believed the number one value in a person is truthfulness. "I don't think that I would like to take part in building this robot to watch over our patient. This isn't something I'd like to be associated with when people ask you about it." He went over to a small box in the corner next to the desk. "I can however, provide you with numerous stickers and colorful objects to accessorize your robot with." The kids wouldn't like him if he didn't have a goodie box for them after shots! They would kick him, and he would have a bruise! The horrors. "If you do wish to use them, I ask that you replenish the stock before we have a rush of children wanting to get their annual shots. I shudder to think what that would be like without them."

 NoelleNoelle quietly walked into the clinic on Valentine's day to visit Paprika, since she wasn't doing anything and Ethan was gone, and she didn't feel like staying home all day and being emo. So she bribed Ethan to bake her cookies before he left to go on his 'date' with Andy. She hoped the cookies weren't twice baked from coming over here.
"I... c-came to visit P-paprika?" Noelle asked. Finn was the only one here, the others being at Valentine's Day or something. (Even though MGX is also there. TIME PARADOX BUT NOT REALLY IT'S JUST A PARADOX.) "Oh my! How did you get over here?! You're blind, are you not?" Finn rushed over to her and looked around the sunglasses at her eyes, but was quickly rejected by Noelle. "I j-just c-came to visit Paprika. A-and I asked her s-s-sister to bring m-me here, although I-i'm not sure s-she wanted t-to do it." Finn nodded at this response, and guided Noelle into the Paprika's room.
"H-hello Paprika. I-it's me Noelle. I... brought y-you some cookies, b-because I felt a little guilty w-when I heard they b-brought you here." Noelle didn't know Paprika had actual problems, she just thought she was violent. Which she was.

★ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ★ Since everyone but Dr. Finn was out, and Mystery Girl X was a paradox at this time, Paprika was working on some gloves she had hidden in her room. She spent most of the time making cool things so that she didn't get bored from just being stuck here all day every day, besides the days she escapes to have some fun around town. He turned the gloves on and watched them work~ But Noelle came in! So Paprika was going to hug her and stopped, turning the gloves off and removing them first. Last thing she wanted was to electrify Noelle with her spectacular inventions.
Paprika then grabbed the cookies, set them down and finally hugged Noelle tightly. She didn't want the cookies to fall or something! "Noelle! You're so nice, brought me cookies and visiting me, no one's visited! Not even my sister." She was too ashamed to do it. "A-and I missed you!" She squeezed a little tighter but then loosened the hug after that.

NoelleGrabbing onto a nearby table to prevent herself from falling over from the hug, she smiled weakly. Was this really the right thing to do? I mean, she seemed excited and all, but it's like she forgot why she was in here, and why they had sent her here. "Uh yeah! S-since no one visited you, I th-thought it would be a nice thing t-t-to do." But really, it was just guilt. She was kind of afraid of Paprika. After she basically pried herself out of the hug without making it seem like it was unpleasant, she just stood awkwardly. "So... wh-what have you been up to?" Although she couldn't see, these hospital things were probably really boring.
