Ivory looked over to Adela and nodded. "Thats right. We met as foals and had a bit of a...mishap adventure at the time. We've stayed good friends since. Best friends i would like to say." He looked away, dreamily, as he said the next few things. "He helped me alot when I was at my lowest. He has been a true friend to me. I owe him, and his family, very much."

Rock had tuned out soon after realizing he didn't recognize any of these names other than Ab. He had rather taken to devouring the rest of the apples

Ivory shook his head. "Ive only had the pleasure of meeting Sonnet, Akuba, Stripe and...Symphony," he blushed slightly as he mentioned her, but tried to hide it, "so far. I have heard of keii and her son Edward though. I would be more than happy to meet them."

Rock blushed and smiled, swallowing the last mouthful of apple. "ofcourse I want to meet him! Invite him any time!" He smiled at his son and nuzzled his nose against Addy lovingly. Then peered back to ivory, asking the unspoken question. Was this alright with him?

Ivory just smiled lightly and nodded to his father. It was love after all, and his mother and father were no longer together. He was free to love whomever he pleased. And somewhere deep down, he was happy it was Addy all along.

Ivory blinked and looked from Addy to his father. Only to see those two blue eyes smiling at him. Rock nodded his head encouragingly and laughed lightly. Ivory bit his lip and grinned "Sure." he said plainly, "Why not?" He smiled.

Grinning happily and getting up after finishing another apple. "I'll put some reeds down for you to sleep on." The cave floor uncomfortable at times and wanting him to feel welcome, so she went and found some new ones that would be nice and supple to lay on.

Ivory smiled and blushed at the hospitality. "Thank you very much Miss Adela. I hope not to be a bother to the two of you." His golden eyes wander to his father's blue ones and he searches for an answer, hoping his stay wouldn't be a burden.

Rock simply laughed and nodded to Addy for her to continue her errand. "Don't worry Ivy, my home is your home, right? Your my son!" God it felt so good to use that word again. To feel the connection he thought he had forever cut, to know that the boy. No. The young stallion in front of him viewed him as a guardian, a teacher, a father.

Addy groans and gives Ivory a dirty look. "ADDY... NOT MISS ANYTHING..." Her tone not mean but clearly not liking the miss at all, never having been a Miss. Poking her tongue out at the colt before turning and heading inside the cave, soon shooing the old reeds out the cave with her hooves.

Ivory blinked in surprise and became suddenly flustered. Shaking his head and mouth opening and closing with no words coming forth. "Ahh I am very sorry Adel- Addy! Very sorry."

Rock snorts and can't hold in a hearty laugh. "Oh Ivory! Oh Addy!" Throwing his head back, throughly entertained by the situation. Making poor Ivory blush even more.

Addy blows a rather childish rasberry at Rock before giving Ivory a reassuring smile. "Your forgiven, I just never answer to miss... and Adela is a name only my.. Mother... uses..." The word mother said with reluctance, having often wished Ab had been older with a mate that could have been a mother figure to her.

Ivory picked up on the hesitation and made a quick guess as to its reason. But decided not to pry. If Addy wanted to reveal anything to him, or rock if he also didn't know, than she would do that on her own. Ivory was a quiet, understanding soul. One who kept his own secrets and problems and understood and let people keep their own secrets. "Understood." He nodded with a faint smile and a spark in his eyes.

Rock simply rasberried Addy back and then kissed the air and blew it her way.

Addy smiles at the both and blew a kiss back to Rock, getting the last of the reeds out and adding them to a slowly growing pile near by. Wandering off to get the fresh ones leaving the father and son to talk alone again, not minding if Rock told him things about her, it would save her getting angry explaining herself, though she doubted that he would say anything.

Rock smiles at her brightly and turns to Ivory as she begins to walk away. "Well, pink son of mine. I would like to know how your singing has been coming along! I remember you really loved it when you were little, you do now, still, right?"

Ivory smiled and nodded, closing his eyes with the grin so his father couldn't see his rolling eyeballs. "Yes of course, I love singing!" And they quickly whirled off into a conversation about songs and singers and all kinds of music. prefered and not.

Addy making many trips to get the cave set for Ivory to stay, humming to herself again not paying any attention to what they were talking about as she works. Falling into her usual cheerful mood, quite happy to let the pair catch up without her.

The sun quickly ducked back down under the horizon for its daily rest, leaving the sky stained with vivid reds, oranges and pinks. But neither of the two singing-soqs noticed, completely entranced by their quick-paced conversation. Even though they were loving father and son, the only thing they really held in commpn was their music. But even that didn't hold on till the end. Ivory loved quiet, meaningful music. Mostly blues and alternative. While Rockstar loved to be loud. Any song was a good song for him. But even with that wall, they continued to talk with big smiled on teihr faces, their eyes twinkling like the newly appearing stars.

Addy chuckled when she was done, setting a fire when she was done, setting this outside as it was warm enough to not need one inside. Putting the things away and flopping on the ground to quietly watch the sunset, not having interrupted them at all, only half listening as she relaxes.

"I am so glad to know you still sing! How about Hoshi and RC?" Rock beamed at his middle child.

Ivory sighed and shook his head, "Sadly, I do not know. I haven't seen anyone form the family in almost a month now. But I am sure they are. We are all your sons after all." He added. Hoshi and RC were just like Rockstar when it came to music- the louder, the better. It seemed Ivory was the odd one. He wondered who he took after, since his mother was also a social butterfly.

Addy smiles shaking her head, prefering the softer songs herself too, though she doubted that Ivory had any influence from her. Watching the fire after a while with a soft sigh.

Rock nodded a bit sadly, his eyes falling. A sudden very loud crackle from the fire brought both of them back to reality, eyes snapping to the newly built fire and Adela. Rock smiled to her brightly and pranced over to her side, rubbing himself into her and placing his head on top of her own. His blue eyes then looked over to his son and his black tail patted the spot beside him, signalling for Ivory to move his rump over. Ivory laughed and did just so.

Chuckling softly enjoying the closeness, the feeling of family even though it wasn't hers. "Yes pile on I make a good pillow..." Puffing a little blowing Rock's mane off of her nose.

Rock giggled and nuzzled his nose against her's. Scrunching his up and sticking out his tongue.

Ivory watched then and smiled awkwardly, it would take getting used to, that was for sure, but somethign about it- maybe the innocence and purity? -told him that was okay, this is what should have been here before. This is what was always there. He sat himself across from them, and in front of the fire. Its flames reflecting in his brilliant gold eyes and illuminating them eeriely.

Addy just laughs under Rock's head and sighing content, looking over at Ivory, wondering where he got those golden eyes from, thinking it must be his mother. "You know your kinda heavy Rock." Grinning teasing, she didn't mind this but she felt like being the one on top for a change.

"You can deal with it." Rockstar laughed, rolling onto her with his side. One front and back leg in the air as he waved them with a giggle.

Ivory smiled faintly, trying not to laugh at how silly his father looked and tried to concentrate on the fire instead. Its colour reminding him of a song

Giving a groan as Rock rolled onto her, feeling her bones flex as his weight rested on her. Turning her head and nibbling the side of his neck, grazing along it to distract him.

Rock gave a light cry at her teeth's pinch and laughed, rolling off of her and shaking his mane. "No biting! You have teeth like a piranah!" He laughed and kissed her cheek lightly, smiling as he pulled back. He took in a breath, telling himself to stop the antics, and looked over to Ivory, grinning. "I'm so glad we can be a family again!"

Ivory nodded.

Addy rests her head down, still smiling, her eyes going back to the flames, closing her eyes, wondering if they would mind her going to sleep here and letting them talk.
