To me it's all about the element of surprise. I'm planning to keep it a secret to most people, perhaps have some girlfriends for a while, and then someday...... WHAM!!! I come home holdings hands with a guy and say: "Hi this is my new boyfriend."
My parents would be too shocked to react on it and they'll be forced to accept it. twisted

ease into it, don't go head on in and you may end up giving one of your parents a heartattack. Mine just kinda... figured it out I guess 'cause I was going out with a girl and all. Meh, they have to deal with it now, my g/f and I have been together for almost 2 years now, meaning we're serious. 3nodding

Hm, I haven't yet. I plan to do it when I move out.
So I don't have to go to counseling or talk to the pastor of their church and tell them I don't believe in god either. I know if I tell them now they'll try to "fix" me and tell me what I'm doing is wrong. I don't want to go through all that so I'll just wait.

I was able to tell my family about a year ago. I just made a big production out of it and acted ridiculous. It was easy for me, because the situation just seemed hilarious. But then, my whole family's kinda weird...

I haven't told my parents yet that I'm bi, but not because I'm worried to, just that I don't care. My aunt on my mom's side is a lesbian, and her partner was welcomed into the family just fine.
But I'm not too sure about my dad, he's very conservative. But oh well, he didn't want me getting a lip ring, and that didn't stop me. xd

i cant come out to parents. or any close guys friends (they're anyi-gay and etc.) my mom might accepted, but she wont like it. uncles in fam wont accept it probably. i dont have to worry about dad, i guess thats one of the good things about not having one, however that may be a factor of why im bi, idk.
