She'd heard of a temple to the holiday known as Halloween. Once she knew there had been a Goddess of holidays, in general, but she had vanished. There had even been a previous deity to this autumn holiday. Now there was a new one, perhaps this one would remain and not vanish as the others had done. She had not spoken nor seen the other ones, as she'd wished to. She had only heard they existed but nothing more, or she'd have gone to see them.

This time she had heard of rides on horses and the scaring of children. It sounded like quite a bit of fun, and a temple she had to visit. This was what brought Nightingale from her hovel of a home, where she worked over a bubbling cauldron on potions. Tonight she left her partner, another like herself, and made her way to the temple. Slow, as she took in the surroundings, she rapped on the creaky door before pushing it open and stepping inside the temple, though it did not resemble the normal temple one would expect...this was fitting and perfect.

"Is there anyone here?" Her voice was low but haunting and carried well. Listening, waiting, for a response she did not receive one. For now she would wait, as it seemed this new Goddess was active as was her angelique.

Word of the temple, and it's ruling couple, must have spread well and fast. If not then it was spreading among a certain underground, those who found the autumn holiday to there taste such as Spook did. A smirk lifted the corners of his lips, his fangs flashing, as the spider web covered fae moved along the broken cobbles. A pumpkin patch was past, and a graveyard. Oh how interesting and well thought up. It was fitting, perfect for Halloween.

Removing the spider, which seemed to have long ago taken up residence upon his person, he moved to black arachnid to his tail. He may not mind his little creepy companion but he did not wish to have him on his face. "Stay there, I do not like the sensation of you walking along my face." It was an odd feeling, one which had facial muscles twitching every time the spider found it's way to his face.

He knew the spider could not understand him, and yet he still ordered it not to go onto his face. This said he continued to the doors and smiled when they opened for him. Stopping when he spied a...witch, but such a pale witch, already in the foyer and appearing to be waiting...but for what?

"Is no one home...?" He questioned the witch, receiving a nod in answer. Well, perhaps the ruling couple were out reaping havoc upon some town or village, something he would like to be doing himself.

Hearing the sound of banging door and stomping footsteps was enough to wake the dead, or at least the seemingly dead. Someone was in the temple, someone that had not been announced or made the attempt to do so. It was this fact that brought the glowing figure of the baddie through the nearest wall, he seeming to hover, just slightly over the floor as he walked.

With empty eyes to stared at the two that stood there in the hall, he cocking his head to one side and smirking. "Those that enter unannounced can sometime end out with a trick rather than a treat..." He chuckled the sounds echoing down the halls. "Tell me to whom it is I speak, and I shall allow you entrance to the temple."

It was the witch who spoke first. The first one here and the first to speak to the...ghostly looking fae. How interesting. He was no ghost and yet seemed to look very much like one. She assumed such was normal here though, so it didn't bother her.

"I am Nightingale." A smile from the witch. Bowing her head, a smile played about her pale features. She was very pale in coloring, but not as pale as the one she spoke to, he was paler then she herself was.

"I come here seeking the Goddess I have heard has taken this domain. I do not seek tricks or treats." Though perhaps being here and seeing the Goddess, and maybe joining the temple, could be considered a treat. She would consider it a privileged and honor.

The pale creature listened to each well planned word, his blank eyes seeming to stare right through the female witch, he smirking and nodding his head. "If it is my goddess you seek then that is truly a treat to behold, though i must beg forgiveness for she and her mate have seemed to have...flown the coup." He let his smile grow, showing his sharp fang, the look quite menacing. "I should not expect the trip to be too very long...she does not like to get out too much. Prefers the pumpkin patch over the lives of others."

He looked to the lingering male and blinked those eyes. "...and you, I trust you seek the goddess as well? If you would both follow me down this hall, there is punch and candies abound." he seemed to hover down the hall, his feet never really seeming to touch, or perhaps he was just that graceful.

Hallow had ridden the town over twice this night, and fatigued he found himself returned tot he temple only to find guests, he looked to them, tossing his cowl aside and looking to the two "The goddess will be gone most the night, the weather suits her well and I find she is...relishing the sweet repose of the evening." His voice was deep with a rumbling purr that played through his chest, eyes burning with his low level power. "Perhaps I may be of assistance, more so than our attendant." He looked the two fae over, one was clearly...not of the living, and the other was obviously his type of Fae, not sensing danger amongst them, he was inclined to assist. ((Sorry for the delay, moved to Japan ^_^ )

"Yes, it is the Goddess I seek. I would like to call this temple my home, to serve her would be a true treat for me. So perhaps in that case I do seek a treat." Speaking this she listioned and watched the pale fae before her and nodded once as he headed down the hall.

Watching him move, with such grace for it had to be just that, she followed a few paces behind him. "Tell me, do you believe she will accept one such as I as a follower?" She asked her blue eyes watching the fae's back carefully.

Before she could gain an answer from the...follower it was the Angelique who appeared! He was quite the sight really, she found herself staring even. Taking in his appearence, and wondering just what the Goddess must look like.

"Yes, perhaps you can. I would like the honor of following your Goddess." The witch was not like those who carried brooms, and in some cases cats, with them. She was still a witch though and wished to fit in and amongst the other witches she did not, at least not as much as she wished.

Watching the pale baddie drift on down the hall, he had not taken his eyes off him yet, he followed while grumbling to himself about candy and the evils of it. He didn't like sweets, at least not candy. "I would like to call this place home as well." He stated, while letting the spider he carried upon his person move to his hand. Watching the black eight legged arachnid travel over his fingers, back and forth and then up his arm.

Watching the halls on either side of them, taking everything in, the orange and black fae, this temple felt like a home to him already. It was comfortable and it wasn't bright and in your face, there weren't other fae's running all about or loud voices though he figured when the Goddess returned there very well may be. But he would welcome that, because it was the Goddess.

It seemed the Angelique had decided to make his appearence, and without his Goddess, how nice. She was the sort to go and have fun on her own...a free spirit. That was good, she didn't have to be glued to her Angelique''s side like she needed them by her side.

"I'd like to join as well." Glancing around he finally turned his eyes onto the Angelique. "I like it here, better then living in the woods. This temple isn't so noisy either." He stated nodding his head after speaking.

The headless fae was gone, but the one in the air remained. A very faint smile came to her face, for but a moment, as she followed after the broom riding figure. She was determined, for whatever reason, to be seen and noticed.

She even opened her small mouth and let out a wail the chains about her rattling as they clanked together. Rusty as they were flakes of rust fell to the ground like snow...only it was brownish red in color. Floatingin the air, at tree top height, her blazing red eyes staring fixedly on the broom riding fae.

The young, pale baddie turned his eyes as the Angelique came in. He sighed and shook his head, knowing he was now only a silent force in the temple, Hallow outranked him, by far, and he would not speak over him. He looked to the female and the male, nodding to them both as he took a step back. "Lord Hallow, the Goddess did say she would return this night...though....she is prone to moments of forgetfulness." He was careful with his words, knowing Hallow to have a temper. "I was simply showing the to rooms where they could stay."

The Goddess flew on, she stretching back and rolling on her broom, laying on her back looking up at the stars. Closer and closer, it would be her day soon, so very soon indeed and then it would be over. A years worth of word set in motion for one lovely day...and night. "Sweet sweet Samhain...love of fall and freedom of death, it is for you...and only you that I draw each breath..." She laughed and blinked as she heard that strong, high-pitched wail. Her eyes flicking toward the location, seeing the glowing for of the fae floating there, she turning her broom, sitting up and flying over to her. "What have we here? Some lonely...wailing spirit...?"

(Gonna wait for Lady to reply before posting for Spook and Nightingale. ::Nods:: ))

Eyes of a bright blood red, near invisible tear tracks from her eyes, the spirit was more then a spirit. It was a banshee, with long flowing blond hair and a voice loud enough to shatter glass should she choose to do so.

"And you...a deity." She could tell that with ease, as any fae could. How interesting this one. A broom and flying and scaring people while taking joy in it, though the headless one did more scaring then this one on the broom.

Floating in the air her wisp of...legs or a tail ended in a wispery bobbing skull that was near invisible. "Over what do you preside?" She did not know why she asked, but she did want to know.

The Goddess watched the other with amused eyes, her golden orbs shining, she laying on her broom as she was asked questions. "I would think my domain obvious, though perhaps you have seen far too many witches to know for sure." She laughed, the sound rolling cackle as she idly played with one long pigtail. "I am the mistress of the hallowed holiday...the Goddess of Halloween." She chuckled and watched the banshee. "Why is it you ask?" She kicked her feet in the air, a rather child-like innocence to her, much like the sweet treats of her sacred holiday.

Aries Le'Fleur wanders slowly up the cobblestone path to the manor, baby Bethany in her arms. Her long white tail swishes slightly as she looks around, lips pursing slightly in thought. "I should have come here a long time ago..." She murmurs, looking down at the baby in her arms before slowly walking through the door. She was wary, not sure what to expect, and keeps her arms wrapped protectively around her child, crimson eyes looking around the first room slowly. "Hello...?"

Bethany looks around with wide, curious grey eyes, thumb in her mouth, her free hand clutching her mom's long black and red hair.

((Let it be known that I am skipping ahead in the temple since the rp posted in here is old, and LadyN has not had time to post for some time.

Note for Sleet: All of your crew are accepted to the temple by the goddess. So if you would like to play them as active temple members do so. XD))

It was a time of preparation, the coming of summer meant much for the Halloween goddess, that meant there was planting to be done, flowers, vegetables and the like. She watched from the gardens outside, seeing the woman and child come up to the main doors, she smirking from behind a tombstone. She knew her loyal servant would answer the door, oh yes, she certainly was a gorgeous thing, perhaps dear Geist would notice that as well.

The sounds of yelling and running could be heard from further down the halls. The laughs of a silver furred child echoing in the corridors followed by curses of her father. "Get back you you brat!!! Seriously I curse the day your mother dropped you!!"

Another male came to the door, his fur black as night with pale blue leopard spots, his eyes blank as pearls, starring at her. "Can I help you in some way miss?" His voice was so very gentle, like a light wind rolling through the space between them.

Aries blinks at the sound of yelling and running, then focuses on the spotted male before her. "I... wished to see if there were anything I could do here at the temple. I'm not sure how useful I'll be, but I thought I'd at least offer my assistance. Perhaps my daughter could also help keep any other children around entertained?"

Bethany peers at the male curiously, thumb still in her mouth. She had let go of her mom's hair, at least and stare at Solitare. "Pchuuuuu...?"
