You see, you are the first hufflepuff, and remained the only hufflepuff for quite a couple days. I was hoping, since you know what goes on around here for than any hufflepuff, you would consider being a prefect? I do hope you accept.

What exactly are the official duties of a prefect? Well there are essentailly 3 duties the prefect themself must do. The first, is merely keeping things in-line with your own house, taking points away and giving them for good behavior. the house cup will begin soon, and once i have heads of houses ( hufflepuff head of house i don't have yet, since i will still finda teacher for herbology but no worries it wont take too long) then you can take and give points. details are on teh sticky in the forum home page, where it says house cup soon to begin, but anyways, the second duty is to teach people things that they must know, where things are, that sort. and third, is to post, just to be loyal to the thread and be sure to let me know if something is going on...is any proffesor is wearinga turban and letting loose trolls. that type of thing. its not too hard i assure you, my two gryffindor prefects are doing splendidly if you wish to talk to them. so thank you, i do hope you enjoy your new place on the crew

 I'm so sorry I'm late! (My IRL mother stole the computer from me! DX) I just got a letter from my mum, and I need you to read it over. -pulls out letter-
(The letter reads)
Honey,
I know you just got to Hogwarts and all, but you may have to come home for a short period of time. Your father was attacked last night, coming back from the Ministry. We assume that it was a past Death Eater, attacking those who were in the Order, but we may never know. He was attacked with an unknown curse and is currently in Saint Muggos. He is getting worse by the minute. We fear he may not last much longer. Please, let the headmaster know, and see what he/she says about coming home. Respond quickly!
