Mizuki smiled. She really enjoyed their time together. Her smile even showed that she was glad to be with him and that he loved her cooking. It was something she only recently learned when she when out onto the world herself. The woman stood up and walked back to the kitchen grabbing some storage containers to put what was left of the food in them. She did make a lot. Maybe even going a little overboard. She started to put the extra food in the containers. "I'm glad you like it." She told him with a small blush.
While she put the extras in the containers she put the dishes to one side and organized them based on their size. While doing so she thought about what they could do. A redder blush crossed her face and she knew once she answered the same red blush would be painted on Pyry's. "As for something to do we could teach me to swim." She commented.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Brightening up a little at the suggestion of swimming, he was momentarily confused by her blush. Realizing then what exactly swimming would mean, his cheeks seemed to explode with color. "Oh... yes. That is probably a good idea." being unable to swim while living on an island wasn't exactly safe, and he knew that she would miss it. A mermaid unable to swim couldn't exactly be a happy mermaid, and though he would be quite uncomfortable with the state of dress, he decided it was more important to focus on the task at hand than worry about his own comfort.
Watching her go about cleaning up, he stood from his seat. Having no idea how to help, he simply hovers a few feet to the side. Feeling a tad useless, a frown tugs his lips downward. His hands drop to his sides, and he watches intently as she went about sorting and putting things away. He could wash dishes by hand, though he wasn't quite sure how to offer, and figured he'd only be laughed at; most people had dishwashers, apparently. He couldn't work one of those, and left it for Adney to worry about. Glancing at everything helplessly, he sighs lightly at this turn of events.

Once the mermaid was done with the dishes she could now get to work on relearning to swim. Mizuki turned towards a drawer that she kept some plastic bags she could use to cover her cast. A nice layer of blush covered her cheeks. The turn away was a perfect chance for her to hide her face. The dance teacher pulled the bag over then grabbed some tape in the same drawer and moved it around her arms to seal the biggest gap of them all.
Once done she put the extra tape away and turned toward her boyfriend. She smiled and grabbed his hand pulling him towards her bedroom with the pool around it. It was just dip enough for a person to swim in. The woman pulled her shirt off. She hadn't changed from her swim bra which was all that she had from her original mermaid outfit. Next went the pants. "I'm ready teacher." she said with a flirty tone and a wink.

Allowing himself to be pulled along towards her bedroom, he moves just fast enough to keep up without overtaking her with his longer stride. Blushing and looking to the side as she stripped, Pyry seemed momentarily frozen in place. Shaking it off, he slips his shirt off over his head and slips his shoes and socks from his feet. Unbuckling and removing his belt he bends to rolls his pants up to the knee. He was glad he hadn't worn jeans that morning, as they would be much more uncomfortable rolled up this high. Stacking his clothes neatly and away from the edge of the pool, he turns back to face his student.
Blushing again at her flirtatious tone and gesture, he shakes his head to be rid of the flustered expression. "Do you know how to float?" he asks, focusing in on the basics first. It would be an odd thing for a woman of her age to not know how to float, but he had no way of knowing how much swimming ability came with the tail and how much was actually her. Standing at the edge of the pool, he turns to look at his girlfriend. "It is the most basic of basics, and I must make sure you can properly float before moving on to coordinating all your limbs."

Mizuki nodded. She even got into the pool to show him that she could or at least she could. Her leg were hanging over a tail and it took her a few tries to get it right, but sooner or later she did, it just took some time. "I'm sure I could at least do the arm moments. Legs will be another question. I've only ever need to know one motion." She told him as she moved back towards the edge of her bedroom pool. There was doubt at the moment with her arms moving just right with the cast on her arm.
Mizuki lovingly pulled her self up on the edge and looked up at Pyry. She waited for what he wanted her to do. She was a good listener and student. While the woman's legs dangled in the pool she kicked back and forth. She really loved the fluid feeling of the water against her legs. "Pyry if you found my tail would you hide it?" She asked worried about something. It was hard to tell if it was about her father or about Pyry himself.

The blue-haired man smiled faintly as she accomplished her first task, and her comment about the leg movements. "I am sure you will be quite the Butterflyer in that case." he replies, trying his hand at a joke. He wasn't sure if it would work out as planned, and hopefully it wouldn't be taken the wrong way. Watching her swim back to the edge of the pool, he doesn't quite see the need to teach her much of anything; she seemed to have most things down, and they could probably get to moving her legs correctly quite soon. She was a natural in the water, and Pyry couldn't honestly say that he was surprised.
At her question, however, he paused. Sitting himself on the edge, he allows his legs to dangle in the water. He didn't respond at first, taking the time to think about it before opening his mouth. "If I find your tail, I will return it to you." he stated, pausing a moment before continuing with an explanation. "I made a promise, and I will keep it. I believe it should be your decision, and you decision alone, about what to do after that." moving his legs slowly in the water, he looks from the wall to his girlfriend. "It would be wrong of me to hide something that belongs to you."

The answer that he gave her was bitter-sweet. She did want her tail again. She missed it so much and she wouldn't be able to return to Atlantis again without it. At the same time if she had the tail she would be forced to go back to Atlantis against her will. She didn't want to cause international trouble for the school. The school did many amazing things for those who came through the doors and walked in it's halls. It hurt a little that Pyry said it even though she already knew he would. She wanted to stay with him forever. "Then I'll go back to Atlantis once I have it." She told him. Not adding that she didn't want to cause anyone trouble. "There is little we can do to stop it anyways." She added.
The mermaid sat one the steps of the pool and kicked her legs back and forth. Mimicking the moment she say from landwalkers. She needed work. It was easy to tell. sometimes her legs would go to the side over straight up and down or she would just move her knees up and down. Probably movements she would use in tail to move around in.

Sighing lightly, he could tell that his answer hadn't quite been what she was hoping for. "You know better than I just how vast the sea is. Even if I were to find your tail, it is unlikely that I shall find it any time soon." slipping into the water, he moves to stand in front of her. Taking one ankle in each hand, Pyry guides her feet gently, moving them slowly in rhythm. Keeping his eyes on her feet, the blue haired man keeps her muscles moving as they should, giving them no room flail about. "I shall search as much or as little as you like." he offers, trying to find a decent compromise. He could tell that she hadn't liked his answer too much, and now hoped to regain some footing. If he looked thoroughly he would eventually find it, that much he knew, but if he hardly looked the chances were much slimmer.

Mizuki moved her feet the way that Pryry wanted her to move her feet. It was a strange knew feeling to have someone grab her by the ankles and moving her feet for her. It was just something she would have to get used to. "I don't want you to look for it and if you find it I want you to hide it until you don't love me anymore." She answered. She couldn't force people to like her. No like all those people forced to cheer for her as a princess or pop star. If he didn't love her then there would be no need for her to move away. "Promise me." She told him while raising her pink for him to shake.

Surprised by her response, Pyry glanced up when she reached out to her. Staring blankly at the finger for a moment, he decides to mimic the action. He had no idea what he was expected to do here, and so was guessing at this point. If that was really what she wanted, who was he to object? It was her tail, and he certainly did not agree with the choice being forced on her by her father. He would do as Mizuki wished, at least until she stated otherwise. "I promise." he still wasn't totally sure what he was supposed to do with his finger, and so it hovered in the air in the same way she held her's. "But if this is the case, we must go shopping for swim suits..." he added, still a bit uncomfortable with her lack of dress.

Mizuki giggled and hooked her finger around his. "It's called a pinkie promise. Once you hook our fingers some people shake it up and down and say 'Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye' as part of their promise to each other." The woman shook their hands up and down while making the promise. "I Mizuki will buy a bikini is you promise to hide my tail if it is found." The mermaid made the deal with her boyfriend. They would have to make a trip to the mall to find some things for her to wear while she was swimming. At least it didn't stop her from teaching dance classes.

A little disturbed at the short poem that went along with the pinkie promise, Pyry couldn't help but wonder why anyone would want to stick a needle in their eye. It sounded very painful.... though he supposed that was the point. If breaking the promise meant plunging a needle into his eye, he would definitely not break this promise. A part of him wondered what type of needle was necessary, but hopefully he would never find out. "I, Pyry, promise to hide your tail should I find it, and take you shopping for a bikini." he allowed her to move their hands in the appropriate gesture. He made a mental note to ask Adney about pinkie promises later, to see if anyone had actually stuck a needle in their eye because of them.

Mizuki was happy to hear Pyry's words that he would keep his promise. She broke their hold on each others pinkies. She then got up and moved herself to put some underwear on and a pair of shorts to make her boyfriend feel a little better. She then returned to the edge of the pool and smiled. She at least was starting on a promise. "That's enough practice for now. I'm getting a little sleepy." She told the other teacher. Then turned and got a couple of towels from her drawers to use to dry off.

Hauling himself out of the pool as she went to change, Pyry glanced at the wet rolls of his pants with disdain. Slowly, the water turned to ice before falling off his trousers altogether. Seemingly pleased, he rolls them back down and ignores the few wrinkles and creases that had formed. Turning to find his clothes still piled on the floor, he notes Mizuki drying off. Much more comfortable now that she was covered, Pyry restrains a yawn. He was tired as well, though refused to admit such. "Then shall I leave you to your rest?" he asks, not quite sure what was expected of him now. If she wanted to go to bed, he could always throw his shirt back on and wander back to his apartment. Snatching said shirt off the floor, he pulls it on over his head, mussing his hair quite thoroughly.

Mizuki stopped and walked over to him. She wanted to treat him to something before he left. She have him a quick peck on the lips. "Now you can leave. Please comeback for me in the morning for me. Then we can go to the mall together." She requested. She wanted to spend as much time with him as could be had. She pulled out a shirt to put on over her top once Pyry left and for her to sleep in. "I had a great time with you." She added with a light blush on her cheeks. It had been a nice day. She leaned a little about swimming without a tail and eat sushi with her favorite guy.
