Character's Name: Calder
Race/Subspecie: Monster - Kelpie
Personality: Calder is a socially awkward but typically shy teenager, tending to like his space but still wanting to be involved. Not one to take reciving compliments about his looks with any grace, he tries his hardest to establish himself as a monster in hopes of gaining both respect and friends. Since he doesn't take hints, he tends to stick uncomfortably close to others that show him attention and can be easily used to run errands or do any sort of random task anyone wants without any complaint. If he's spoken to and they can tollerate him, he's happy just to say that, "Yeah, he/she's my friend."
Since he's been homeschooled since now in a very rural area of Halloween Town, he's still getting the hang of school life and seeing more kids his age. He does, however, have a terrible problem with handling his kelpie urges - usualy resulting him trying to dunk someone in water. At the smell or sight of water, a powerful urge will take hold of him and change his personality into someone a bit wilder than his typical attitude. Depending on self-control (which is rather weak at this point) and any element of water, his attitude can change quickly.

Character's Name: Kasumi
Race/Subspecie: Monster/Futakuchi-onna
Personality: Anti-male to the extreme, Kasumi takes care to avoid a male of any species no matter the cost. This only really applies to young men and older, as she adores children of either gender. She's very distrusting of them, especially since a man was the cause of most of the anguish she's ever felt. As such, she is cold, distant and distrusting to any man. Short and to the point. While she loves eating, she'd never share any of her abundant food (that she always carries with her for the two mouths she has).
Around babies, small children (of either gender) and women, she is open, kind and compassionate. She feels that women understand her more, are more trusting and caring that the opposite gender. To them, she is generous above all else and would do anything to protect another woman. She even shares her food with them. Very Jekyll/Hyde when it comes to the two genders.

Character's Name: Alerick
Race/Subspecie: Monster/Werewolf
Personality: Alerick is a simple teenager. He likes his music, almost any genre, and likes to stick his nose into a good book for hours on end. Typically he can be found sleeping with a book at the side of his bed, on the floor, a sure sign he fell asleep whilst reading...again. He does have an odd liking for black lights, the light next to his bed hosting a black light at all times. If he could he'd likely string up such lights all about his room. He likes how the black lights alter the color of things, like his bedding and clothing.
Alerick is a werewolf, and thus does like people. He's social, it's only at night he plugs in his headset and buries his nose in a good book. During the day he tries to play social butterfly, wanting to nose into everything his friends are discussing, even if he has no verbal input. He just wants, take this to mean needs, to be part of whatever is going on, no matter what level of involvement he has. When something is going on in the evening, a party or some large get together, Alerick is sure to be there. Loud and bouncing around from person to person, glow sticks swinging and glowing from various places on his person. He likes to wear, what he considers, stand out clothing as he lacks in the natural features, only boasting furry ears and a tail naturally.

Character's Name: Meng Xiang
Race/Subspecie: Undead - Jiang Shi
Personality: A young boy who's goal is to become a dancer, he's very comfortable with himself and independent. He is someone who is considered a bit odd by his classmates, but he comes by this reputation honestly: he simply isn't like the other kids at Amityville at all. He seems to be completely out of touch with what's going on around him at times, but he is more serene and composed than most of his peers. His mind often wanders and seems detached from what is going on around him since he tends to be a bit of a dreamer. His deeply-held beliefs, although not understood or accepted by those around him, do give him a certain dignity. He has a somewhat bizarre sense of appropriate social behavior. He's an amazing person and is honestly beautiful ... but very, very rare.

Race/Subspecie: Swamp Beast
Personality: Sweet, gentle, and as dumb as a bag of bricks, Gargantuan's impressive looks don't excuse his nice behavior. A follower rather than a leader, he's quick to tail someone who he dubs as a friend around everywhere. And I mean everywhere. With an insatiable appetite, anything that's small enough to fit in his mouth and isn't clearly labeled "not food" will probably find itself devoured before too long. In short, do not give him important things to hold. This will not end well for any involved parties.

Character's Name: Haku
Race/Subspecie: Demon/Inugami
Personality: Since birth Haku has been pressed with a simple fact: balance is absolutely necessary in one's life. This unfortunately makes it all the harder for him, as he's well aware that there are things he can improve on: for instance, being able to say no. Both as a dog and as a rather servile personality, Haku finds that most of the time if someone asks him for a favor, he won't say no; granted, he will make sure they are aware of the debt to be repaid, but not usually in a nagging manner. Simplistic and normally quiet, he finds no need to draw too much attention to himself unless when on the job for someone.
Apparently Haku equates this as to a "friendship" when he does favors and thus doesn't know what an actual friend is like, so he tends to grow uncomfortable when not talking business. Ironically, though, he enjoys making crafts for regular "customers" as a goodwill sign for continued business. He lives to make lives better, though far be it that he hides hidden, ever-counting inner self that watches for those that abuse his services or do not repay debts . . . He also dislikes being pet, finding the action more befitting a puppy: which he is not, the boy stresses, despite his slight and small frame.

Race/Subspecie: Monster/Werecat
Personality:
Trista is a thinker at least she likes to think so. She likes to work things out though it doesn't mean she gets them right. She tends to jump to conclusions and only once they are proved wrong will she properly think about it. She loves to work things out but tends to get it all wrong and muddled rather quickly.
She likes to know what is going on all the time, it has a lot to do with her love for problem solving. In all honesty she is just a bit of a gossip and will happily let everyone know everything even if she has no idea whether there is truth in it. Of course if she finds out that she is wrong then it's obviously so and so's fault and not hers.

Character's Name: Cooper
Race/Subspecie: Monster - Sandworm (Beetlegeuse)
Personality: Cooper is an excitable young teenager who is utterly fascinated with his human forms' legs. As a Sandworm, he can slither, and he can manage some pretty good leaps, but legs let you run. And Cooper is all running, all the time. Walking is not a word he's familiar with. He's quite a sight, too, considering his entire top half is muffled in a gigantic hoodie, and his lower half is just a pair of gangly legs and dirty feet.
For all his energy, he can be surprisingly shy, using his hoodie as a bit of a shield between himself and strangers. If he's properly frightened, he's been known to pull all his limbs into the hoodie, and let the rather fearsome Sandworm face do the talking. However, a little kindness will go a long way with Cooper, and he's likely to hang around 'nice' people and try to help them out. (Or just annoy the crap out of them.)

Personality: A cocky and flirtatious incubus, Altair loves nothing more than to be around people. While he was born into demonic high society and has his share of classist hangups, he is not terribly discriminating for a demon and will gladly welcome the company of certain 'lesser' beings. He is, however, quite arrogant and full of himself, which shines through more at some times than others. Altair views life as endless partytime and is up for anything unless it involves doing actual schoolwork.

Personality: Fierce and fiery. Faint is a self-centric cat with a large ego. He's large and in charge, a bully if there ever was one. He's not afraid to shove things onto other people and hardly ever regrets it. There's no shame in looking out for one's self to him.
He's a good guy on the inside though. He cares about his friends, though he shows it in odd ways, and he'd always and gentleman to the ladies.

Personality: Ego monster who wants to be a supah stah. He's rather self serving and thinks he knows what is best and that he indeed is the best. Which is unfounded as he's a fail boat and does know it. His ego hides his vast list of personal insecurities.
And like a bird, he is peckish and flighty. Not a very reliable sort to be honest.

Race/Subspecie: Demon/Avarice Demon (Sloth)
Personality: Rose is somewhat typical for her race's stereotypes, really. She's meek and unassuming, and prone to being invisible in a room because she's so quiet: and being absolutely tiny doesn't help her case either. But when angered...Rose will just stand there and attack her enemy with the thorns that grow around her when she moves slowly. As a result, it often seems like there are two sides to Rose: the soft, quiet side; and the silent side!

Character's Name: Narcissus
Race/Subspecie: Undead- Vampire
Personality: Cheerful, sweet and deceptive. Narcissus is an ambitious, inwardly apathetic creature who has recognized and learned the appeal of compassion. Selfish, vain and tenacious, Narcissus projects empathy and understanding with smiles that contradict malicious intent, with tender words and misleading sentiments.
But the flesh underneath those rosy (rouge? you better believe it) cheeks is still bloodless, and fangs lurk behind those glossy lips. Beyond Narcissus's artful presentation of a kindly, demure gentleman there lurks a beast who is enslaved by his voracious appetites. Cold-hearted, but impassioned, with little to no regard for the feelings of others, Narcissus is an indomitable glutton who'll stop at nothing to get what he wants and, if things go awry, attempt to pass it off as though he is the victim.
Its always best to keep your collar up and your back to the wall when he's around.

Character's Name: Salali Powaqa (squirrel witch)
Race/Subspecie: Reaper/Shamen
Personality: Salali is small, quiet, and generally nervous. Not the kind of nervous that makes her endearing, but the kind that makes others unsettled or disgruntled because there is nothing to be nervous about. She has trouble with her speech, stuttering a lot and talking in circles. Funny thing is, if you sort through her nonsense she often has something important or poignant to say. Leadership is not a quality she possesses. She often follows the lead of others in action, though not necessarily in words
Oddly enough, she's a poet and obsessed with the strangeness of language. Perhaps it fits, as her eroticism fits well with complex poems of the ages. She's also rather afraid of the human world, hoping to go there as rarely as possible. Her totem is the squirrel.

x_Nata_x Not sure if it's recommended if enrolled characters should be used or if that just applies to quest characters, but if it's suggested I don't use Nuk, pm me or something and I'll write someone else <3 The recommendation for disposable characters was directed at those that currently do not have an enrolled student at TiH, as well as for those who have a specific plot outline for their currently enrolled character. :3 Those that are enrolled, however, have the opprotunity to earn growth points that can be used towards your character's second stage. <3 If anyone wishes to change their mind as to what sort of character they'd like to use, please quote your app and post a new one.
