Rynn at the purple fox. Yes I am new here. Ah I won't keep you if your after what ever is down there. Rynn took a look.. The thing looked like a small fox perhaps. A kit in this sandy hell hole? Well the other fox is on her way down already I shouldn't interfere.
Turning to the dark colored male. Kemet? this is a tribes land? Who wants to live in a place like this? Its hot in the day cold at night, and finding water is a pain if you don't live by a river.... Wait is this one of those tribes that forces foxes to stay once they step on the land?Rynn had heard horror stories. She took a rigid attitude toward the male that called himself the elder of this land.

“definitely a good idea.This way they don’t have to keep on climbing up the pyramid." Horus muttered to himself. Normally one wasn't supposed to be up there. however Horus was a little lax on rules. It was a great place to see the land from. " "Oh sorry just talking to myself. However if you wish to climb up be my guest. After all things in kemet aren’t always what they appear.” Horus stated smiling warmly. Atum had been keeping the land safe from Seth encase the other modeity had tried to wipe the place out and many things you only had access to by entering at certain points of the day. For example everyone seemed to enter from the desert pyramid side and unless they looked from the east side of the pyramid all they saw was desert. The east side showed the great temples and statues built into the land by the humans before him and greenery spread out from the river like almost a jacket and the various mammals and reptiles that littered the border river.
“Ah yes, like I said this place is called kemet. Well it was tribe lands and is working on being tribe lands again.” Horus began chuckling at the attitude the vixen suddenly adopted. He guessed what was on her mind as it was a common thought. Well the first one was why in the world do you wish to live in a desert and the second one was most definitely what sort of attitude did the tribe have towards outsiders. “You do not seem to want to harm my land so you can freely come and go if you wish. Well with in reason.”
He went to say something else when something caught his attention. Was he hallucinating? He was sure that he hadn’t overheated or gone to thirsty “Jaci…?” he called out jumping down from the last few steps onto the sand.

The multi-colored perma was positive that this was indeed Horus. About two feet away from the black fox she launched herself in the air, hitting his back squarely with her stomach and knocking most of her air out of her lungs.
After gasping for a few minutes she managed a breathy message. "Hey...Heru. Y-you're..not an...sand image...too, are..ya?"

Fyra nodded to the elder. "Thank you Horus." The purple fox moved towards the kit. She stopped and shook her head, she must have been in the sun too long. Fyra heard the voice and knew she hadn't been in the sun that long to hear voices too.
She spotted the multicolored kit moving around the base and watched as it launched at Horus. She looked around for other kits or parents. Not seeing any, Fyra picked the kit off of the elder. "Hello little one. Are you lost? Where are your parents?" Even though it was apparent that she knew the black fox, she wanted to make sure that the kit was where she should be.

Jaci looked up, slightly offended. She kept the worst of the tongue-lashing she could give locked away, since it wasn't entirely the female's fault. Jaci didn't like being treated as though she had the mentality of a normal kit, even if she had a tendency to act like one sometimes. It had nothing to do with her kit body, she was just implusive like that.
So she tried to keep her temper with new people, but if they still insisted on babying her even after they learned she was a perma then she took the sheath off her tongue and let them have it.
"I'm not lost, I'm wandering. Don't know where my parents are, haven't had much to do with them in a long time." She picked herself up and moved a few paces away in case the female was one of those who thought kits always needed to be washed.

Horus chuckled a bit at the permakit’s mentality knowing full well it was most likely true. He gave a look up towards the light modifox he had talked to about the pyramid and land knowing if she did indeed go up Hitoru was up there as well and could help her in case she needed it. “No I am not a mirage caused by the desert. I would disappear the second you leapt for me and you definitely wont be on my back” Horus winced a bit at the force the perma collided into him with. “Although it is good to see you again, what has you out in my area of the world?” he asked and then looked over as the purple vixen picked jaci up asking the normal questions you would of a kit. He winced hoping jaci wouldn’t blow up too much. Luckily she didn’t seem to.
“Ah Jaci might not look like it but she is almost as old as I am” Horus stated trying to tell the purple vixen Jaci was a permakit.

Jaci's mouth pulled down into a pout. "It's boring by the river," she complained, in reply to Horus's question about why she was where she was. "After you and Sephy left I only had one other visitor, and I don't know where he went. So I just followed the river, then followed the ocean, then it turned into a river again."
She frowned, realizing something. "What're you doing all the way out here Heru? Thought you lived in the forest, not this hot sandy place."

mmm so I'm free to come and go as I will so long as I don't cause trouble... not a bad place then even if it is ridiculously hot. Rynn follows the male over to the kit and the purple vixen since there didn't seem to be anything else going on around the area. She watched the interchange between the kit and the older foxes. As old as him? She must be a permakit then. She is awfully cute. Rynn held back the impulse to pick up the kit and wash her. If this was a permakit she would have to remember to treat the little one as an adult. It would be rude not to, and even if Rynn didn't mind offending other adult foxes there was just something about a permakit that made her want to be nice.

Inwardly Jaci sighed. A tawny female was looking at her with interested eyes too. This might have been why she had such a sassy personality.
If you really thought about it Jaci was a very patient and calm fox. She didn't snap every time an adult tried to bathe her, or used baby voices or got condencending and talked down to her. They always learned over time.
She tried to start things off friendly if she could, as soon as possible just to reenforce the impression that she had more than the mentality of a kit. "Name's Jaci, what's yours," she asked the tawny.

“I’m sorry about that, I meant to come back and everything but the modeities had other plans. So I was hoping to get their mission done and come see you but I got a little sidetracked. Ah you crossed the ocean… that must have been an adventure.” Horus chuckled imagining Jaci winning a fight with a shark. He knew his friend could probably pull it off. ‘oh yeah I did tell her I lived the forest didn’t I’ He thought. Well at the time he had believed that was where he was going to stay for his life. “Ah yeah I did live in a forest when we first met, but this is my birthplace and where I grew up. My parents who where the previous ins…. Elders of this tribe and they hid me in the place we met to make sure a rather evil modeity didn’t kill me. So I got told to come back here by my modeities and so here I am” Horus told his long time friend.

Jaci stared at Horus in silence for several long moments, gold eyes unreadable. Finally she snorted and scuffed a paw against the sparse grass the covered the ground by the river edge. "Some people just get to have all the fun in life, you lucky dog."
The whole being hunted by evil modieties thing didn't sound enjoyable, but it seemed like one heck of an adventure!

My name is Rynn. I like your coat it reminds me of a tropical fish. Rynn couldn’t help but smile as she nodded her head to Jaci. She is so cute trying to be solemn and serious, I bet she annoyed that we’re coddling her though.. I can’t imagine being young looking forever. It must be hell. Rynn listened to the males story and was surprised. You’d think that being hunted by evil modeites would leave him more serious. There was mild surprised etched in her face.

A proud look crossed Jaci's face. She was very fond of her coat, it provided excellent cameflouge when in the water. Shallow oceans provided the best blending points, but the river she used to call home had hid her quite well. She wasn't sure how she'd do here yet.
"Thanks. Probably how I managed to get here, it was kinda a long swim. There are some biiiiig fish in the nasty-tasting water, but they just passed right by me if I floated."

As old as he is? Wow. She had never met a permakit before, but if the male said that she was as old as he. Fyra gave a mental shrug, who was she to argue? She fought the urge to clean the perma, even though it looked like she just came out of the water.
"Well, nice to meet you Jaci and Rynn, is it?" She asked as she turned to look at the other vixen. She sat down and jumped back up again, it was still a tad hot to sit on. "They call me Fyra," she told them kindly.
Her eyes widened at the thought of being chased by a modeity. Sounds like he had just as much of an adventure as Jaci.

“oh but um don’t worry about Seth coming after you here. The modeities Atum and Osirus said they would cast their protection on this place so there are a lot of things that are different from what they seem to throw off any invaders.” Horus stated. “It looks like you um want to sit down I would suggest that you use the first step over there on the shade side of the pyramid it should be cool enough for you to sit down.” Horus suggested. He would have offered them rest in one of the temple buildings but he thought it would be rather rude to leave his mate behind. He frowned wondering just what Hitoru was doing. Oh well the black and gold fox would come down when it suite him.
