Cody walked up to the base, he seen Jade and did not see Aeden. "Hello Beautiful" he said as he ignored Everything around him.

Aeden nodded. He was decently patient with people learning. He knew how the eyes worked by now, and knew that more often than not the copy didn't work. He decided to go with something just as practical, yet much easier to master. He made a quick handsign and began to levitate; Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu (Wind Levitation)
The little note Cody made didn't effect Aeden too much... for now.

A random butterfly caught Jade's attention, and she looked at that instead. "Sorry, my head is elsewhere...I'll get the next one." At Cody's entrance, Jade smiled warmly at him, accepting his compliment, while shooting a quick look at Aeden. That seemed to slide by without him getting upset. Good. Friends shouldn't fight amongst friends. "Hello Cody-chan! Long time no see."

Cody looked around he forgot that Jade was going out with Aeden. He smiled as he started smiling wildly he licked his lips "So Jade would you go out with me" he said as he looked a bit vulnerable since he was in love with Jade.

Jade had been looking at the ground, and did a double take, which at her speed looked like a single take. She'd had never expected Cody to have those feelings for her, and at a time like this. He should've known Jade and Aeden were...together. "Cody-chan, let's take a walk." She didn't really give Cody a chance, but merely wanted to get him away from Aeden, for fear of a snap. She grabbed his arm, and flash-stepped away, deep into the random little forest. After getting a good distance away, say farther than Aeden could throw a kunai carrying an explosive tag, she stopped, and let go of Cody. "I uh." Jade was rather oblivious at things like this. She really had only ever been in one single relationship, which was with Aeden. Throughout her life, she had been with guys for short lengths, just nothing serious. Now, a good friend of hers, who was more of a brother to her, was confessing his love to her, infront of her lover. "Cody-chan, I love you...but not how I am in love with Aeden. We're getting married, did you know?" She gestured to the necklace Aeden had given her as their 'ring'. "I'm really sorry that I can't return your feelings..." Jade looked down at the ground, genuinely sorry for him.

Aeden slowly began to grow more and more annoyed with Cody. Not in a hostile way, just... He landed, canceling the jutsu, but there was enough time for Jade to copy it if she wanted to, then went back to reading his book. Now taking a closer look at it, it was old and tattered. It'd seen better days, but it was still an important piece of literature to him at least.
