He takes the ham in his mouth as he wraps his tail around Amu's front paw "Lets go now. You first." He managed to say with the small space between his mouth and the honey ham. His tail lets go of Amu as he gets up on the corner with one leap and pushes the window open a bit more for Amu "Now sweetie." He looks back at her waiting. He isn't going to leave her. If something happened to her. He would never be able to live with himself.

Amu blinked at Ikuto but decided it was worth the risk. She forgot about distracting the cook and followed Ikuto over to the window. She grabbed the ham from him and leaped out the window, she landed with a soft thud on the ground outside. She looked up at the window waiting on Ikuto to come out.

Ikuto jumps down landing next to Amu as he smirks "See all good my sweet" he jokes a bit and then nudges her to get moving just in case the cook comes after them. He is very set on protected her no matter what the cause.. Staying at her side as they move away from the people's town and back into the area they belong.

Amu smiled and took off running to jump over the fence at the end of the alley. She just cleared it with the ham in her mouth when she heard the cook coming around in the alley. "Hurry Ikuto!" She had dropped the ham and yelled as loud as she could, she feared that the cook would get him.

Ikuto nods as he takes off running and leaps over the fence. His back right leg hit it though which caused him to fall and roll a few times towards where Amu is. He looks up at her. "Made it." He jokes a bit as he slowly gets up. He had jumped too soon and that is why this had happened. Normally something like this would never happen to him of all carousels.

Amu tried her best to stifle the laughter but she couldn't hold it in any longer. A soft laughter filled the alley way and probably could even be heard out on the street but she didn't care that it could be heard. "Your so clumsy it seems." She smiled at Ikuto and pawed at his shoulder playfully before walking away with the ham in her mouth or rather the net on the ham between her teeth.

Ikuto looks at Amu "I am not. I did that just to make you laugh." He lies but hell clumsy doesn't fix him and it rarely happens to him but being in love is something that just makes him do some crazy stuff and get clumsy doing. He looks at her. "We should get into the safely of the woods before any humans come after us. So come on. I will be right behind you so start moving."

Amu smiled at Ikuto and rolled her eyes a little, not believing for a second that he did it just to see her laugh. She shook her head gently and began to walk farther away from the alley and the city that held the sleeping humans. "Your so pushy." She teased and glanced over her shoulder to make sure he was still behind her.

Ikuto's leg had gotten more then tripped up in the kitchen door. He is slightly limping as he hides it from Amu. He looks at her and smiles a bit "No worries I am right behind you." He states as he continues to limp and follow her. Though he is keeping a good pace for someone who is limping.

Amu slowed down once she realized that he was a decent distance behind her. "You hurt yourself didn't you." She stated the obvious and stopped to sit the ham down. "Let me see." She offered and walked slowly towards him to examine his legs.

Sighing Ikuto looks at Amu a bit. "Amu I am fine. I promise. Nothing is wrong." But he does take this time to rub up against her and to be playful. "But if this means I get to have you nurse me then I am game." He states as he loves to tease her from time to time. It is something he does. Though he does truly love her.

Amu smiled at Ikuto and nipped at his ear but nuzzled his neck afterwards. "Come on Romeo." She told him as she walked away and picked up the ham to continue getting away from this place.

Ikuto sighs as he follows her. He is still limping a bit as he keeps up with her. That kitchen door was heavier then it looked like and when it crushed his leg it did hurt a bit but besides that he should be ok once he gets to rest it in some cool water. "Amu are we going to our normal spot with the lake?"

Amu looked over her shoulder and noticed he was indeed limping. Her heart stopped for a moment but she realized she owed him an answer. "Yeah of course." She faked a smile and slowed her pace a little so he wouldn't have to try so hard to keep up with her.

Noticing that she slowed he felt a bit back for telling her that he was ok. He watches her. "So we are almost home to our cave. Then food and a long rest right?" he wonders a bit as his eyes follow her movements closely. Maybe something else was wrong.
