 Slay walked into the music room with her cello strapped to her back. She took a seat and placed her cello in front of her.

 "So lets make a bet. What do you think is faster? Your MAGIC..." Jack wanted to see what the music room was like. He loved melodies of any kind. Maybe if someone was in their he could have a nice converse with him or her. Or, if he ended up alone- perhaps he could lose himself in the old days and start singing again. But of course, he could never go back. A Temptation seeped through his throat as he wanted to sing the first concert song he had ever performed with his group, ToxiChord. Those were that days... He almost missed his crews' faces and smiles. How warm and bright they were. But Jack had been lying to them the whole time, and didn't deserve any more kindness from them.
"............. Hm?"
Jack's eyes were fixed on the young maiden with the Cello as soon as he entered the room. This socialite perked up once again and wanted to make more Small talk. And of course, wanted to hear her play.
"Hello there, miss. That cello... How amazing- can you play such an instrument? I've been so attached to music all my life- but never thought of even touching the keys of a piano, nor strumming the strings of a guitar. How wonderful is it the you can play such a graceful tool! I'm Jack Gunner. But Jack would work fine in any occasion. "
- pauses for a breath -
"Music, is a beautiful part of life. And without it... Well- Some individuals could not have obtained happiness without it. Now I'm curious... What encourages you to play? And If I could know your name? But then again- I... Am Just a stranger. You can tell me, but you don't have too. That's all for you to decide. "
The Curious Young Man leaned against the wall, hoping and waiting for a response.

Slay looked up at the boy with no expression on her face. "My name is Slay Anderson. What encourages me to play...Music expresses my emotions, what is in my soul." A small smile played on her lips. "It is nice to meet you...Jack Gunner." She pulled out her cello out of its case and the bow. "So lets make a bet. What do you think is faster? Your MAGIC..." Jack shut his eyelids and listened to the sweet sound of the cello. It was so peaceful and calming, that Jack almost felt like dozing off. But he wanted to stay awake to continue awing at the extraordinary piece.
"....Mmmmm.... Well, miss Slay. What a remarkable talent you have... I've never heard anything more superb. It's wonderful. "
The Socialite added with a soft voice. Jack could listen to her play al day if he had the time, that is.
"Ah... Music and it's miraculous ballads... Is this not the meaning of life itself? But you're right... Music should be played from the bottom your heart, no? I'm bewildered. And truly amazed. Surely- you have been blessed with this gift. I'm pleased to make your acquaintance."

Slay bowed her head slightly. "Thank you Jack Gunner. As am I." She said as she leaned her cello against her leg, still holding it. "Do you know how to play any instruments?" She asked him, looking up at him with expressionless eyes.

"So lets make a bet. What do you think is faster? Your MAGIC..." "... Unfortunately, I do not. I actually have no experience with these things. Mmmm... I think it was... Oh, yes. The mere instrument, known as the bells- could I not even play. "
Jack stated with an embarrassed sigh. The socialite looked into her eyes again- noticing the lack of emotions he expected her to have. He started up again getting more intoxicated with the Conversation.
"Though I cannot play any instruments... I can sing. Just a little. In fact- it's my only talent. Otherwise. I'm just like any normal human... But I do enjoy it to the fullest, however I can. It has been a while. Thanks very much for asking. I would love to sing for you- alas... I don't have enough confidence to sing an Acapella without my companions. " "Or the pull of my TRIGGER? Jack tried to remember how the refrain went. Though he was sure enough, this was the 4th song he sang with ToxiChord. How nostalgic it felt to sing this while being shrouded in the night, while the moon unmasked itself and the stars glittered like gold.

Slay thought of the song briefly and shook her head no. She picked up her bow and held her cello in place. She had began leading the bow across the strings, letting the melody set its course.

Jack nodded noticing her signal, and soon- he was singing... Just envisioning that night of triumph. Just letting the melody run through him made him feel better. Strongly, and steadily- did he pick up on the tunes.

With Sweat running down his face- he sighed in satisfaction. This was the first time he truly smiled after abandoning his group. The Young Musician grinned softly and Slay, as a signal of sincere thanks.

Slay curled her lip into a little smile. "You do sing well." She said to Jack, knowing that he really loved to sing. "You hear all of your emotions and heart being poured into the song."

He stopped for some air, trying to catch the same breath that was stolen by the melody.
"T-Thank you, Miss Slay. I try... Try my best. You did an exquisite job playing your cello as well. It's been awhile. So, if I could patch up my flaws, I would do nothing but. I wish. The only thing that prevents me, is fate- I would go on if I could. But sadly- I can't. It burns my heart to just to admit it... For me, there's no where to run, but nothing solid in my way either."
Looking at the clock once again he noticed maybe Half an hour had past. Boy was he enjoying himself so much that he had been absorbed in time itself. He gazed over to Slay and bowed politely- then headed towards the door.
"Keep practicing, and once again- you are a Truly Amazing musician. Though, there a few places I want to visit before it gets dark. I enjoyed your company very much. I'll see you around, Miss Slay."

Slay nodded slightly and had put her cello back in her case. After she did, she strapped it on her back and walked out of the music room.
