Ookami kissed her "Sure love. Where would you like to go?"He asked as they moved along. He sniffed the air scenting for any food or water near by.

"Let's just walk for a while." She tilted her head and pointed at a random direction. "That way. Maybe we can find some dinner too." She suggested, looking up at Ookami and smiling.

Ookami bowed to her with a smile. "As my lady wishes."He spoke with a slight joking tone but mostly serious voice. He brushed against her side and nuzzled the back of her neck but started walking in the direction she had asked.

Raika shook her head slightly at the teasing, but smiled and leaned against them as they began walking into the trees. Once again she felt happiness and contentment filling her as she spent quality time with her mate.

Ookami rubbed his head against the back of her neck. "You shake your head like its not true or you dont believe it."He said than stole a kiss. "But what you don't know is it is true. I will do whatever you wish. Because I love you and you are my mate." He than nuzzled her cheek as the walked very close side-by-side.

Raika smiled up at Ookami, warm butterflies flowing through her. "I shake my head because I don't believe my own luck sometimes. Having someone like you to love me is something I'm always going to treasure." She rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped her tail around his.

Ookami bent down and kissed Raika on the nose. "Your luck? I can't believe mine. I have the most amazing mate. Get breed with some idiotic bird but end up with three decent children. Two out of the three have had kids and some of their kids have had kids. And so far there isn't chaos."He spoke softly kissing her again. "On top of all that I get to spend time with the most amazing vixen I know in this world and she is all mine."

Raika melted a little inside at the words of love her mate was showering on her. "I'm glad you aren't swamped with too much chaos. Because that means I get you all to myself much more often."

Raika was about to reply when her stomach did so for her, rumbling a little. Rolling her eyes, she gave a small, embarrassed grin. "I guess it's time to hunt. Hmmm...rabbit or deer?" she asked.

"Deer would be more of a challenge of strength but rabbit would be a challenge of speed."He stood up as well and began to scent the air. "Which do you prefer to test?" He asked.

Raika thought about it for a few seconds, head tilted slightly. "Mmm, speed." She said, even though they had just ran against each other. "Mostly because I really feel like rabbit for dinner."

Ookami grinned, "Speed it is than my love,"He nipped her ear than took off running,"I'll get on before you do." He called back to her laughing. He took quick sniffs of the air trying to track down a rabbit before his mate. He was making this out to be a game. Which was something they would both enjoy or so he hopped. He felt that right now was the time to act a little childish and be care free.

Raika sped after him. "Will not." She challenged, cheating a little my patting his nose with her tail. She laughed and veered off, trying to catch scent or sound of her dinner.

Ookami chuckled at her. He took that bob on his nose as an acceptance to the game they were going to play. He stopped chuckling when suddenly his nose caught the scent of dinner. So he went off to follow it.
