What if you strapped 5 mini Kido Cannons together and hooked them all up to the same firing mechanism. Would that destroy the entire Sereitei 5 times?

@Pad: The first concern for 12th division is to begin cranking out stuff that will be helpful for the Gotei. Such as a device that can completely regrow a lost body part, or repair an otherwise un-repairable body part within the span of twenty-four hours. Batteries are a concern, of course, but that will be taken care of quickly. Once that is done.. I will be going back to my roots, and instructing my members in the creation of trinkets and charms, which will be sanctioned as special kidou-tech, and severely limited of course.
@Duff: If you are serious about the mini-kidou-cannon, I would need a full reason for why, and then we can talk about getting that made. If the main goal is to have a version that can be transported more readily, I can understand the use for it. 3nodding

Quote: Such as a device that can completely regrow a lost body part, or repair an otherwise un-repairable body part within the span of twenty-four hours. Why not a glove that is tuned in to one's specific reiatsu signature, that can then be moved by either increasing or decreasing the amount of pressure from either the top, bottom, or sides of the appendage in question. It wouldn't be a complete fix, but it would give someone incapable of moving a body part the ability to move it should the need arise (such as battle). Of course, this would be draining to the user and would require a very high level of control over one's reiatsu.

Hey. I want a device that can increase blood flow, and maybe can create artificial blood. Or a device that can be used to take the blood from random squad members at random times, and can be stored within a device, and then once a week have a "HEY SQUAD GIMME BLOOD a thon." :3 yes, I want that.

Nurgle's children, our pretties, our pets...
I had this idea in a previous guild which would be used for better training in shikai and bankai cases. Some device that sends cables at your heads, attached something like suction cups. You do this after somehow sending your little student into their spirit world. With it, you can watch their progress in their world and see how you could help in case they fail against their zanpakuto in whatever test they give.
How Nurgle loves his little children, how Nurgle loves his little pets!"

@Kyros: Hmm.. that may be a possibility for future reference.. but for now I'm going to work on just the device to regenerate damaged tissue. It'll be about the size of an CAT scanner, but yea. lol
@Ketsu: As much as I would like to.. that seems to me like it's just something to make you MORE powerful, so that goes against my policy for inventions.. sorry dude. wink
@Rin: That seems a bit redundant, no offense. And it essentially falls under the "shikai and bankai facilitator" type of thing. Also, if they do fail against their zanpakutou, then we heal them and let them try again in a couple weeks.

Mirouni . Such as a device that can completely regrow a lost body part, or repair an otherwise un-repairable body part within the span of twenty-four hours. . You're kidding me right? That sounds awful. If I'm allowed to say something. First. This completely means that a Hollow's High Speed Regeneration that is a personal choice when making an Arrancar is completely and utterly pointless. Not only can the Shinigami do the same thing but they can all do it. Maybe not at the same rate or at the same level but they can still do it. Second. Losing a limb is quite a troublesome thing. It adds a lot of potential drama and such. In that case it completely removes any problem with losing limbs. I mean. I can lose about 10 and it isn't even a problem really. It doesn't add or fundementally change my character. I know you might not have fully described it but the way it's sounding now is a little eh. Sorry about being so up in your face about it I just had to get this out here and question further.

Ah, but Paddy-kins, you're misunderstanding how this works. The device is the size of a CAT scanner. I'm not sure if you've ever seen one of those.. but it's roughly the size of a large van, maybe a bit bigger. It is NOT portable, and it can by no means be used in a battle type setting.
To address each of your points..
First: In what way? The regen takes twenty four hours of constant work, and is EXTREMELY painful, with no hope of anesthesia. That is NOWHERE near the type of regen that Arrancar can do.
Second: Who said that people would be forced to undergo this procedure? First off, they have to survive the battle where they lost the body part, second, they have to make the choice to come here and ask for help, third, and I repeat, it does NOT happen quickly.
Does that clear some thing up for you?

You're right. It's not for a battle setting. I didn't expect it to be however it does remove a lot of what makes a Hollow special. That ability to regrow limbs. It's very integral to the Hollow.
Yes. It's extremely painful. But everyone will have their character suddenly grow balls of steel and man through it. I'm sure you're aware that not everyone here takes pain as a serious issue.
But yes. You're right it's not the same.
All your points are valid in a realistic setting but this is an RP. So in order. Who isn't going to undergo this procedure except someone who wants a bit of plot about losing an arm or a leg? Then about surviving battles. If I remember correctly we have a rule about not being able to kill other characters without permission. Unless that changed recently that means I can become a quadruple amputee and be taken away by a Shinigami ambulence theoretically.
As you say it doesn't happen quickly then does that put your character into a form where they may not be used for x number of days? Is there an actual consequence to this long time period?
It clears some of it up. Thanks. But I really do need to know everything. It'll help me sleep at night.

The details will be fully released when the device is fully created. However, I can clear some more things up for you to help ease your mind. mmk?
1.) I am not Santa Claus. My job is not to hand out gifts whenever people want them. If people want this service, it's not just going to be given to them like cookies, they need a damn good reason.
2.) There is no "Shinigami Ambulance" last time I checked. So no, you can't just lose four limbs and be carted off.
3.) You don't have to be killed to be critically injured. If a person is stupid enough to lose multiple limbs, alone, they will be in dire straights, and most likely die. Also.. if someone keeps coming back multiple times a month.. I will deny them.
4.) The twenty-four hours is real time. And even after that, it will be an entirely new limb. So yes, there will be a consequence. As for the total duration, that has yet to be decided.
And finally.. I'm really not seeing the issue here with Hollow and regeneration. Even in the manga, Orihime was able to do this kind of thing, and then, like now, it wasn't the same as the way that hollow can heal. Again, and I emphasize this, it is NOT an instant thing, and it is NOT something that happens easily.
Does that help things?
