Chapter three of Icha Icha Tactics NXT GEN
Confessions:
---In another part of Konoha we go to the Hyuuga compound where Neji and Hinata are training. The chuunin exams would start anytime soon and practing will help them both. Both using the same style and the Byakugan in full effect. Both sweaty from a long days training where the sun would set in an hour. The both went in for their last charge before they stoped training. ---
Neji: You need to block more with your hands!! Your chakra is coming out of your hands not your arms!
Hinata: *nods and focuses again when she goes on the offensive* O.. Ok.
*Neji blocks her hits palm for palm as if they were playing patty cake. This was going to be his last charge before he stops the training session for today. He turned and went into the offensive, Hinata did like he said two hit came through out of thirty. He went in to do one more hit.*
Neji: You did way better than in the last chuunin exam, but let see you block this!*
* Hinata gasped and and wasn't even ready yo defend. Neji trips as his foot got caught on a tree root, landing on top of Hinata. Both laying on the ground. Hinata trembling because she couldn't grasp what is going on.*
Neji: I'm sorry..
Hinata: Bu.. but.. how can you trip?
Neji: What do you mean?
Hinata: Y..y you could see the roots there.
Neji: Heh, well... *sighs* it's because I didn't know any other way to tell you this...
* Hinata closes her eyes as if it would make her invisible. Scared to hear what Neji had to say. She kept quiet as if it would be a weird dream she would wake up from until she felt his lips touch hers.*
Neji: I love you... the only reason I was hard on you was because I wanted you not to be so intimidated.
*Hinata gasps and pushes Neji off off of her. She couldn't believe what she heard there was no ways she had feelings for him -- only Naruto was the guy she loved. Though she was too scared to tell him. She ran ous the Hyuuga compound's gates towards town. She had to be some where where she could think.*

---On the other side of town, the sun was setting ---
* Naruto stared at the orang glow of the sun. Tears ran sown his faceas he usualy did when he felt all alone. Deep inside all he could do is notice all the girls in this village wouldn't give him a chance even if it meant to save his life. Then, he noticed something as the last of the sun's light glistened away. Hinata would always be there, no only at the chuunin exams, but times before and after that. He even chuckled a bit that now he noticed why she fainted when she saw him when he returned from all the training he did with Jiraiya. She was always there, his heart fluttered with a last ray of hope.
He had to find her. he had to remember from the park close to the academy which way was the Hyuuga compound. Then he heard a rustle of the fallen leaves bethind him. *
Natuto: Uh.. *blushes, rubbing the back of his head as he turned around* hi Hinata. What are you doing here?
* Hinata gasps as Naruto notices her presence. She had thought the park would be empty by the time she got there. She starts to twiddling her fingers as her cheek turned a crimson red *
Hinata: I.. I .. came here to think... uh... y. you?
Naruto: Actaully.... I was about to head off...
Hinata: Oh... well.. I'll see you around then.
*Naruto walks past her. She walks and sits on the bench Naruto was at. A frown went on her face her eyes started to tear up what a day she though. Then suddenly a voice. *
Naruto: You know... I got something to confess... when I said heading off.. I was heading off to see you.
*Hinata gasps and sits up straight, surpirsed of what she heard. Naruto sits next to Hinata.*
Hinata: To.. see me?
Naruto: Yeah.. I wanted to tell you something.
Hinata: What... what you wanted to tell me?
Naruto: A confession...
Hinata: Of?
Naruto: I saw you in the shower once sholdn't cover yourself with think clothing...
Hinata: *Grabs her jacket to cover herself* ...
Naruto: Wha? I'm just kidding... what I wanted to tell you was something I wanted to confess to you.
Hinata: * loosens grip on her jacket, embarrassed that she fell for what she said.* Oh.. what is it?
*Naruto told her what he had noticed, and that he appreciated what she has done and that we was wondering if she wanted to hang out. Hinata couldn't believe what she heard, he had noticed all that what she had done even though she mainly hid in the shadows. Her cheeks blushed and didn't know what to say to his proposal. It was like she was still dreaming -- a nightmare turned into what she desired so much. Her heart skipped a beat, shocked taht Naruto would actually like her. *
Hinata: Yes, I would like that.
Naruto: Well... it's late, you like to get some ramen with me?
* Hinata nodded and started to walk with him into town. Hinata with a smile on her face, inside she felt like she was gonna go crazy, a feeling she never had before -- where she felt that she can do what she wanted and not scared to say what she wanted. She felt free. She grabbed his hand, Naruto smiled at her as they walked together. After hours of talking and having dinner. Naruto felt a new Hinata, where she spoke more condidently and with feeling. It made Naruto smile as much Hinata was. It was getting late and they walked down the road fromt he ramen shop*
Naruto: You think you should be heading back home?
Hinata: I know... but I want to be with you.
Naruto: Yeah, I had a great time...if you like... um you can stay at my place tonight...
*Naruto had his goofy grin and smiled. Hinata's eye's glistened, never in her life she thought that Naruto would invite her to his house. *
Hinata: Really? You would let me?
Naruto: Sure, why not? You can always tell your family you went.. and trained... yeah.
Hinata: *giggling* Yeah.
* Naruto smiles and lets her into his home after he fumbles with the keys to open the door which made Hinata giggle. They spoke some more some more and decided to head to sleep. Naruto with one bed, they decided to share. Before she wnet to sleep she somed up the courage to do somehting she never thought she would do -- she leaned over the sleeping body of Naruto and kissed him on the lips. He awoke.... and the rest will stay behind closed doors. *
