The girl screamed her obscenities this time, pain clear in her voice. The blast at her feet was enough to demolish the webbing that was keeping her in place, and she quickly hobbled backwards to try and find cool ground. "WHAT THE $%@# IS WRONG WITH YOU?! $%@#ING #$%@#!!"
The man...Shocker...glanced away from the spider just long enough to see the allie he had with him. He aimed his other arm up at Firestar and a rather large vibro-blast erupted from it, aimed directly at her. The second he shot, his eyes immediately slipped back towards the spider.
"Get the bag and get to the car. Now." he growled at the two women.

Unfortunately, by the time his eyes started returning to Spidey, two globs of sticky webbing were connecting with his vibro gauntlets, right before somebody's feet connected with his chest. "Okay, I haven't seen a damn person that I know all week, and suddenly all my villains are popping up? What gives?" He wished that Chris was there; he suddenly wanted to appolozie for not believing her when she'd said that he was a comic book character in her world. It made SO MUCH SENSE. ... Except it usually felt less like a comic book and more like one of those soap opera comics for girls, with a little action thrown in.

Firestar managed to dodge Shocker's blast; however, it was close enough to pop Angelica's ears and mess up her equalibrium. She was trying to blast Shocker's gauntlets. But beam of microwave energy went way high, because Firestar's sense of 'up' wasn't.
The beam hits a small low laying cloud and evaporates it. Meanwhile, Firestar is flying around erratically -- trying to regain control while still having her energy sheath up.

The kick from Spider-Man was enough to knock Herman back a few feet and onto the sidewalk. He growled and rolled himself onto his knees, his webbed hands clutching his chest. With his teeth grit, he glared back up at the boy. It wasn't hard to tell that he really wanted to kill the hero right now.
The mother was trying to help her daughter up and grab the bag. When Lori managed to get back onto her feet, she (unsurprisingly) went straight back to blasting wildly at Spider-Man. The woman was a bit of a harder target at the moment, so she was ignored for a moment.
ENTER Gold Star from NEW YORK
The young girl dressed in black and gold arrived on the seen in an innocent 'pop' from her teleportation. Her arms were crossed, and she appeared frustrated for some reason. Her eyes quickly fell onto the scene before her and she seemed to snap out of it.

"So... Herman," Spidey began conversationally, simultaneously dodging all of Lori's various blasts, "You... er... holding up? ...I mean to say, you're not going to go and fundamentally shift the lovely little dynamic we have going here, are you? You're ridiculous, I poke fun at it, and the whole thing just works. You can see how it would be awkward, can't you? If I started taking you seriously just because you beat me to a bloody pulp once? Nothing personal, buddy."

Shocker's scowl deepened and he tossed his arms up to blast the boy again. The sudden painful vibration that set through the bones in his hands reminded him that he couldn't use his gauntlets at the moment. He quickly released the trigger and glared down at the webbing covering his hands. "I SWEAR I'm going to make you pay, kid." he hissed as he moved his arm to try and apparently bump something that was in the pocket of his coat.
Lori continued to blast at Spider-Man, despite her mother's attempts to make her stop. Finally the woman gave up and turned her attention towards the fiery woman in the sky. There were three of them, and only two of the heroes, right? They could do this. They could....um...do this.
....They really shouldn't be here.
Gold Star simply floated closer to the scene with a mix of interest and surprise etched on her face. Her interest seemed to mainly be on Herman for some reason.

Angelica tried to open and close her mouth to equalize the pressure in her ears -- which were ringing in a monotone noise. Finally, her equalibrium balanced itself, and Firestar had stopped her course and opened her eyes.
She was staring at a street stop sign inches from her face. In the presence of her energy sheath, the sign promptly melted, "Uhhhhh.... Ooooooookay."
Hearing the blasts over her own ears ringing, Firestar glanced to where the Bombshells -- yeah, that what they're called -- where lobbing blasts at Spidey..... And Firestar was behind them.
A smirk crossed Angelica's face. She wasn't going to risk a shot from here. She didn't want to accidentally hit Spidey. So, the former Helion accelerated toward the mother-daughter team and aimed to deliver a fly by punch at the back of the mother's head. Firestar would momentarily drop the enregy sheath [she didn't want to fry her] to deliver the punch, and then bring it up immediately after.

"Okay, Herman," Spider-man said patronizingly, "Okay. Lori, dear, have you been doing something different with your makeup? You've gone all splotchy and pink. Like you're having some sort of allergic reaction, or epileptic fit," he added helpfully. With that, he performed a neat backflip, ducked down under her guard, and came back up with an uppercut that had all the force of his jump behind it.

In her unreasoning fit, Lori didn't have the time or ability to dodge Spidey's attack. Her head snapped back and she landed on the ground a foot or two away. Out for the count.
The mother had been keeping an eye out for Firestar, and whirled around when she spotted her again. Both arms raised, she prepared another blast for the girl.
What she didn't expect...and what caught her attention suddenly...was her daughter to be suddenly knocked on her butt like that. Her eyes widened and she whirled around towards her daughter. "Lori!"
All but forgetting about Fire, she aimed her blasts at the Spider and let them loose...as well as her language. Wasn't hard to tell where the child got her mouth when the mother did become angry.

While 'Momma Bear' turned on Spider-Man, Firestar delivered her attacking punch toward the back of the woman's skull. After the attack, Firestar did a chandelle to fly right back in case the punch didn't do the trick.

'Momma Bear' only had time to focus a blast at the red hero, and the next minute she was out as well as her daughter.
Herman was still trying to get to whatever was in his pocket when her heard the 'whump' of another body hitting the ground. He glanced up and found both women lying on the ground, out cold. He scowled and seemed to panic as he struggled harder to activate whatever was in his pocket with his elbow.
So much for teaming up. Might as well have done this on his own.

And then Spidey was standing right over him, putting his foot gently on Herman's elbow to stop him from moving it around. "Got something in your pocket, Herman?" he asked brightly, "I hope you brought enough to share with the rest of the class!"
