I imediatly fell quiet when Lynette mentioned being and only child and how i wouldn't understand i looked down and wouldn't meet anyones eyes "No your right i wouldnt understand I've always been alone without even my parents I don't know what it's like to have a mother or father lecture you..." L~Y~N~E~T~T~E It doesn't matter where I happen to be...
Lynette was slightly curious. Why was this girl so touchy about parents..... Then she remembered it. She was orphaned at a young age. Well.... maybe that was better. She never would have to deal with being pressured into doing things she hated and she wouldn't have to follow certain standards just to make people happy. She'd be able to live how she wanted. Unlike Lynette.

I was shocked what was she saying? Atleast she's always had someone there for her atleast she knew what it was like to actually be loved "What are you saying you wouldn't want this life. Your parents love you and you know it if anything happened to you they would be worried not just because their heir has gone missing but because their daughter has dissapered. Has you mother never embraced you in a moment of weakness when you break down? Has your father never been there to protect you? Atleast you know that they love you. Mabye not in the most favorable way but in their own way. Atleast you know that!" I said my voice rising until i was almost yelling at the end then i broke i turned awaay from them and ran to the bathroom covering my face when i got into the bathroom i cried and cried i couldnt stop Stupid tears.... Stupid emotions! i thought to myself angry for showing weakness

Lynette simply stayed where she was. If she went after the other girl, she'd just say something that would end up hurting her. She'd end up telling Marie just how wrong she was. Marie thought of the stereotypical family, not hers.
They hate me. You wouldn't know it but they truly hate me. Never once have they tried to comfort me. And they wouldn't care if I went missing because they'd know I'd turn up soon enough. When I break down, I get told to suck it up because life just works that way and no one will show sympathy. They don't love me no matter what. And of that, I'm sure.
Lynette frowned as she looked at the painting above Anselm's head. What else could she really do?
I'm happy to just watch...

Marie`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ I stood up and took a deep breath i lloked at my face in the miiro and i looked like a wreck i splashed cold water on my face and loooked in the miiror again much better i slowly walked out of the bathroom and sat back down i looked at Lynette and smiled "I'm sorry for my sudden outburst my room mate says i suffer from multiple personality disorder i guess it might be true" I said laughing at my own joke good job now just keep this up and no one will suspect your tearing yourself up inside a little voicxe whispered

Lynette smiled at the newcomer but then realized, they had both just forgotten to keep talking to Anselm. She turned back to him with a sheepish grin.
"I started quite a mess, didn't I?"
Yet, she wasn't sorry for it. She hated her parents more than almost anything in the world and they felt the same about her. In fact, had she not been an only child she probably would've lost the position awaiting her.

Lynette smiled as she watched Anselm pull the newcomer back into his seat. Actually it was quite funny. This was one of the most awkward people she had ever met and yet Anselm handled it all so well. He'd also made sure she didn't feel bad about the little spat. What was he playing at? Around here it was pretty hard to find an honestly nice person.
"Well, you can't really say that your parents aren't worse than mine. I mean, Marie has none so I know that/s better but you... well that's really a point of perspective on how bad anyone really is."

"Maybe parenting's something
they should teach in school."
