Uh, I play bass and I have an Ashdown MAG300 head pushing an Ashdown MAG410 cab. That, and a Behringer BX600 which I despise.

I've got a Fender 15G frontman amp, It came in the pack whe I got my guitar. Its crap, But its more than enough for me at the moment. Might see about getting a Marshall 15CD/CDR soon. Well, When I have enough money!

I should be able to pick up a small tube or hybrid amp this summer, once I have a job. I can't stand the thought of using my Behringer 15 watter for any longer than that x_X

ever since i was 16 i've had a full time job I think between playing guitar and work there my favorite things to do. But witih working alot of hours i'm also losing on playing time. I do like the money though so i can always buy things i want. My gibson amp is alright its a small 10 watt amp i bought from target.

Heehee... I don't blame you. You should go tube though. You won't ever look back! biggrin

Well. I play through an old Stagg 30W bass amp.

I then turn the bass and low mid up full. Scoop the high mid and turn the treble down to half.

My guitar goes through a Zoom G2.1U and a Danelectro FAB Metal.

Sounds sweet as hell biggrin

Unfortunately tubes don't come cheap. I suppose the sumer job will help immensely though. Just have to decide what I want to buy.. I don't need anything too terribly large as I don't play live or jam with anyone...

it WOULD be nice to have that option though... I suppose I could use a tube amp with an attenuator but I would need a half stack for that...

EDIT: Oh yeah, 1500th post in the GGG smile

Have you looked at the peavey line? The Valve king is an affordable and good soundling little rig. If there's not enough gain there for you, you can always stick a pedal in front of it.

There's also the classic line that they have. It's a fantastic little amp for blues, and if you wanted to push it, I'm sure a distortion pedal wouldn't hurt it at all.

Yeah I've definately been considering the ValveKing, probably the 112. Its a big possibilty.
