"Better be careful the Headmistress seems...short-tempered." Sin gave a slow smirk, she would never insult a Professor to their face, but no one could fault her for using a double-entendre. Besides she was sure Morrigan would be amused by it, especially if she had already seen Hellma. Her eyes moved down to the little chest and focused on the glowing gaze inside.
"Charmed..." She murmured and arched a little in a half stretch before relaxing back in her seat. "So Morrigan is it? Meet anyone interesting? Seen any hot guys?" She leaned a bit over her desk obviously careful not to spill out of it. "It's been such a bore today...nothing but monsters and mayhem while everyone runs to class." She twirled a finger in her hair and leaned her cheek on her hand. "I need to find someone around here who like the maul as much as study hall." She huffed softly and fingered her demon eye brooch.
Her eyes flicked over to Kasumi again and her apparent revulsion for the green giant who had stomped into class. She slowly smirked before glancing casually at Arachne again and the way she flipped cards. Both girls intrigued her for different reasons, but Morrigan certainly seemed the most funso far. She had a feeling the girl was a bit of a trouble-maker but Sin didn't mind getting her hands a little dirty for a good cause. The good cause being amusement of course, not actually helping others. She re-focused on Morrigan, there would be time for further introductions with the others later. Besides she just knew Morrigan could be a friend if not a shopping partner for life, her style was so scary chic. Sin tended to lean on her parents style and most of her clothes clearly tipped their hats to the old world and aristocracy.

Valk was completely oblivious to the effects his human like appearance was having on the girl before him. In fact, when it came to the prejudices that filled the halls of Amityville Academy he was surprisingly unbiased. Then again, Reapers tended to be a bit more open minded then the other factions - something that served as both a blessing and a curse to the over achiever. Especially since he often seemed to forget that some races seemed to mix him in amongst their humanoid food sources, such as the girl standing before him. But ignorance was bliss after all, and what he didn't know would not hurt him... yet.
The Valkyrie couldn't help the small bout of laughter that escaped his lips at the girls statement about his rather impressively sized wings. "Can you imagine that my mothers are roughly twice this size?" Yes, mothers. It was a common known fact that Valkyrie's were a primarily female race and it wasn't hard to imagine that two had coupled - though the exact process that had resulted in his birth was still somewhat a mystery. Valk's was a strange family indeed.
"It's hard to say really, especially since they aren't so much accessories as they are additional limbs. Kind of like having an extra pair of arms?" Rubbing the back of his head as he tried to guess just how much the large appendages weighed, he found himself subconsciously flapping them as his tried to concentrate on the appendages. "I would think that they add an extra fifty or so pounds at least." He sincerely hoped that was a good enough answer.

There! All finished. Gargantuan was really quite proud of himself even as he managed to squeeze himself back out of the seat in order to hand the paper to the teacher. Nurse. Nurse with yummies popping out of her arms. The monster might have stared vacantly with longing for a moment, then remembered himself and began to shuffle back to his seat.
That of course gave him a good look at Kasumi staring at him. He hadn't noticed before, but it was hard not to, now!
"Hullo." G said cheerfully, ignoring the pen that was squirming unpleasantly in his grip. She looked interesting! "Am G. Like band aids." He liked band aids a little too much, and they were never properly used when he was around. There was a thoughtful pause.
The tip of his tail twitched a little, happy to have made a new friend, but at least he kept it from banging into the desks again! "You fill out yummy paper?" Had she, yet? Had she? The beast generously extended his arm to clumsily offer his now-writhing pen to the ghost girl. "Can use G's if not!"
'For the love of Jack, take me.' The pen seemed to be saying.

Kasumi blinked. How odd. She furrowed her brow and leaned back in her chair to get a really good look at the green monster in front of her. Wasn't he scared? She was giving him her greatest stink eye. The best she could manage! Obviously this meant that her stink eye wasn't very good, or the monster was just a lovable, adorable and clumsy oaf just looking for friends. Kasumi watched as the pen attempted to wriggle free of his enormous hand, shrieking silently at all the injustices dealt to it in its short life. Being brutally crushed seemed like a horrible way to go. Considering all her options, Kasumi was about to spew forth something vile, but decided not to. She lowered her hand and tilted her head.
"Your name is Amjee?" she asked, watching his big grin and tried her damnedest not to smile back at him. Why was he so cute? "I'm Kasumi. I guess... it's a pleasure to meet you? Why aren't you scared of me?" Clearly, she simply sucked at being scary. But that was what the Academy is for!
She carefully took the pen for its own sake, giving it some breathing room. "I already filled out my paper, but your pen is very nice. Where did you get it?" She hadn't a single school supply to her name, so something like this was a wonder of wonders indeed. Miss Nurse Cricket didn't hand them out, so... was there a supply bin she wasn't aware of yet? Kasumi clicked her tongue and turned the pen over in her hands. Where did he get this thing?
And also why was she talking to a man what is the world coming to.
Amjee wasn't really a man, in the traditional sense. He was like a puppy. A giant, grinning green puppy.

Tess idly watched as her classmates chatted with each other while they waited for the lessons to begin. She would have wanted to strike up a conversation of her own but she didn't know what to say or use as an opening line. So instead, she brought out her bat-book and penstrictor to jot down potential lines. Unfortunately the winged school supply was still miffed at her for having been thrown into a field the other day and the moment it was placed on the desk it flapped away.
She reached out to grab for it but it managed to escape her fingers. "Come back here!" she hissed beneath her breath as the bat-book fluttered further out of reach and smacked spine-first against another student's desk.

Israfel always had an affinity for other winged creatures. So, when he noticed one undead missing her lower half, he smiled. Undead or not, he'd seen her in passing and he appreciated the wings that kept her aloft. Picking up the book by the spine, he offered it to her. "Here, I found adding a bow to the tail gives you a bit more to grab just in case you know?" He scooted his desk over a bit, so he wasn't disturbing other students. "I'm Israfel by the way. Sorry we never got formally introduced. I think I saw you at the Monster Masquerade?"

Tess gave the other winged student a grateful smile as she accepted the squirming school supply. "Good to make your acquaintance, Israfel. I'm Maritess but call me Tess." She glanced at the book and studied it, "You mean like a sort leash?" she asked, tilting her head as she gave the suggestion some serious consideration. With the dozens of ribbons decorating her bedroom she could easily spare one for the bat-book. "That sounds like a very smart and stylish idea." she nodded, deciding to do just that.
After classes of course.
"Oh! I think I saw you talking to Calder. And, um," she leaned a little closer but not too close that he would think she was invading his personal space, "Were you given detention too?" she could have sworn she saw his card on the singles board.

Spectrae hadn't been paying attention to anyone, not a single word, not a sentence, not even a peep. Not even when a strangely suspicious gnome had taken residence behind her chair and made strange squeaky chuckles from time to time. This, this class was all serious business for her. She was going to become a great scientist, she was going to cure zombie-itis - or something, she could have sworn someone told her at one point that being a zombie was like having an infection, whatever the latter was. And thus she spent the next precious moments of her so very important life jotting the most crucial answers onto the sheet of paper. It was important for her to impress Nurse Cricket, they were her idol for crying out loud, and once they saw how amazing she was and how much she knew, they would for sure adopt her as their pet assistant. Her host body drooled a little just at that thought. After writing each answer in as painstakingly clear as she could manage - and even in somewhat-cursive, she knew that learning it would be handy one day! - she decided to go back and illustrate it with diagrams. Nothing said knowledge like some simple diagrams to present her ah, knowledge! At the very top of her letter was written... something. Hopefully Nurse Cricket didn't speak Nergal.

After giving her friend a discreet thumbs-up at getting to help a teacher (already!) and doing an excellent job of it, Emily settled down to focus on her work. This was important. Direly so. Lives could hang in the balance.Fortunately, life experience and her older brothers' advice were actually pretty useful in filling out the form. The witch read and responded to the questions with a growing feeling of confidence. She could do this! She could be someone who helped other people not be in pain! Healing was a completely respectable magical art, and there were a few Devices in the past who became FEAR healers. Sure it wasn't as exciting and impressive as becoming a Boogeyman, but still, perfectly respectable.Once finished, Emily sat back with a look of satisfaction. For once in her life she felt almost... smug. For two whole minutes. Then she noticed a few of the other sheets students had finished. They were nothing like hers. Nothing at all. Oh Jack! She hadn't even managed to mention bandages! How could she have forgot that?! Quickly, Emily jotted down a few corrections. Then realized what she had just done. She was now Emily Device: delinquent, serial molester, cheater. She went to erase her crime, but no! She had written in pen! Oh Jack! Pen! The little witch's lip quivered. This is what she got for being such a bad person. She deserved this. Hopefully when the Headmistress and the Boogeymen came to get her and feed her to the zombie rats, she'd be able to put up a brave front. Oh god, but what if they waited? Waited until her obvious lack of knowledge in first aid killed someone. People could die. Because she was a cheater who did not know first aid. Her friends, the one's still alive, would hate and fear her! She'd be all alone until her grossly justified horrific end came. By this time, Emily's entire body was shaking and her paper was stained with tears. Obviously being such a nefarious wasn't as easy as it looked.

Lizzy paused suddenly, wide eyes looking around with an expression that was a mix between confusion and curiosity. She thought she felt something a second ago, an interesting presence... Could it just be her imagination? Crossing her legs, Lizzy smoothed out the creases on her skirt, not knowing what to do while waiting for everyone to hand in their assignments. There was nobody she felt exceptionally close to, after all, and she couldn't help missing her old friends back home.
Just then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a hooded female demon, cards out on her table. Smiling, Lizzy leaned towards her, tugging her long hair behind her ears as she did, "Hey!" She waited for the other demon to turn towards her, her smile widening, "Hello there! I don't believe we've met? I'm Elizabeth, but do call me Lizzy! Interesting card on your table!"

Arachne had been watching the winged demon ghoul when she wasn't looking at her, noting how physically attractive she was. Some kind of succubus? she mused to herself, and then realised that another ghoul had spoken to her, and was actually leaning closer.
'We have not..' she stretched out a hand that wasn't holding a tarot card and favoured her with a smile in return. She seemed very..chipper she supposed was the best way of describing her.
'Elizabeth? My name is Arachne Tangleweave - I may call you Lizzy when we know each other better I think.' she put down the cards and gave the ghoul a long stare. 'What kind of demon are you my dear?' she said, choosing to be forthright, asking was the easiest way to know something after all!

On the List of Things That Thackery Is Good At, first aid, healing, and everything of the sort did not rank very high. He hadn't ever really considered what to do in a time where an immediate action was necessary; he supposed, then, that it was a good thing he was taking this class. What wasn't good was the fact that the Cerberus boy had left his little pet kitsunes - all of them! - back in his dorm room. And he was beginning to feel the consequences of his careless actions. When he'd walked into the classroom, his ears had been twitching, and he was especially quiet. This would not have seemed out of the ordinary to anyone who didn't know him, but to anyone who did...the lack of Thackery Level Excitement would have been a little bit worrisome. Something was wrong, and that something was fluffy fox withdrawal. He collected his paper from Shehk, only offering her a half-cheerful smile, and glanced down at the questions. Well, he had no idea. Some of these words didn't even make sense. Thackery was actually 97% sure that his teacher made that second one up, but he didn't want to question her. For the first few, he tried to write down what he knew (or what was the best, most logical answer!), but he quickly realized he didn't know very much at all. He tapped the end of his pen impatiently against the paper, fidgeting. Not only was he kind of ashamed for not knowing this stuff, but he didn't have any cute little fox pets to comfort him. Dear Jack. He was not going to make it. Frowning, he began to doodle all over the paper - in pen. He wasn't thinking (about anything other than one very obvious subject, at least). After some time and a handful of doodles later, Thackery was mysteriously bitchslapped with reality. He looked at his paper. He dropped his pen. He knew that his teacher was not going to like this. In a desperate attempt to save himself, he put a question mark under each question that had been usurped by cute little kitsunes. He considered writing a note of apology, decided against it, whined, and just gave up.

For once Coralie had actually been interested in attending the class. It wasn't that she wanted to end up a FEAR-doctor or anything, but seriously? With how many times her siblings beat each other up and needed help? Knowing a few tricks would probably be helpful, even if she wouldn't get to use them for a while...or maybe that was stupid to think. Of course the kids here would be just as prone to stupid, ridiculous injuries right? Life would be way too boring otherwise.
But imagine her disappointment when it seemed this class wasn't going to be...much of a class at all. Fill out the sheet? Show what you already knew? She sighed and took the piece of paper when it was handed to her. Lethargically she began to fill it out, writing down what seemed like logical answers. Once that was done she stared at her orange writing unhappily. How could this be a bit better? She tapped her pen against her lips.
"Wha ya think yer do'n? Don doddle, yer done!" Squawked Wilfred.
"Shhh...not...just yet," she murmured and began to scribble in some new lines. Okay, so what if you were stuck in the wilderness of the human world with only a ghost or some odd companion what would you do? She tried to get creative, thinking of all the odd ways that the problems could be solved without conventional methods. They probably wouldn't work in real life, but by the end she was at least smiling, amused with it in itself.

She stood up and walked across the room to hand the sheet to the professor before she promptly asked, "Are we going to do anything else today?"

Now she was doing the wait and bait game, happily waiting for the teacher-slash-nurse to pick up their form, and praise them for their genius!
A long time ago, back when she was still very young - in Nergal terms - her demon friends had taught her all about helping other people get better. It consisted of helpful things such as "you are banned from liquid containers" to "you are banned from anything potentially sharp" to "you are banned from everything... here have these bandages, they're soft, thank Jack". As a result, she was left with a fancy, dandy bandages kit. Spectrae liked being helpful!
Maybe if she was even more helpful and useful, the nurse would even let her touch things that were not bandages. She shuddered from the tip of her head to her toes just at the thought of using the 'forbidden objects' her friends had banned her from. Ooooh, she was so naughty sometimes she scared herself!
A little impatient and tired of wriggling in her chair, she raised one hand in the air. Her brother had always said that people who raised their hands in the air had something important to say.

Shehk seemed to eye the desk that Cricket sat at... and then the door.. and then Cricket again before ultimately slouching at her desk as though there was the weight of the world on her shoulders. She wouldn't dare try to escape the classroom without some stealth involved.
Clearly she'd have to pay double the attention in Mr. Darcy's class or whatever. It would be..amazing. Though she'd never actually seen the man; he was far too ninja for that! Or whatever the term would have been. Either way, she'd made a point of retreating fully to her desk and watching all the creepy-crawlies.
She was so not going to step on anything.
Cricket, on the other hand, though her expression didn't seemed to change, gave Coralie a look of disappointment when she asked about the further plans for that day, the edge of the glowing centipede that had yanked itself partially from her arm fully pulling itself out and skittering across her desk, the other insects seeming to immediately skitter away from it's glowing presence while it made some sort of 'round' about the room. What was it doing??
"If you'd listened to me..." she she spoke almost monotonously, though there was strict disapproval to be had, "You would have known that answer."
Then the hand went up, and Cricket seemed to sigh, looking at how anxious the demon it was attached to (or the demon the host was attached to) seemed to be about whatever news she needed to share with the nurse, causing the ghost to seemingly sigh, while her little 'minion' who'd gone on it's round suddenly crawled around Spectrae's leg.
"What is it?" she asked, giving her attention to the Nergal who seemed to be anxious about getting it.
