Seth listened quietly from his place against the wall, his attention centered on Nadja, his eyes never leaving her. However, when she started comparing Pokemon and children, a hand tightened its grip on his arm. His expression also hardened considerably.
However, after a few moments, that expression and his grip faded away to the way it was before. He let out a sigh, his brows still furrowed slightly.
However, with the appointed task the students were giving, he raised one of those knitted brows. This should prove to be interesting. He waited to see how it played out.

Sorano cocked an eyebrow as well. So now it was their turn to play the little lackeys? Well, this is sure something. The two sphere's belonging to Never and Elly swelled in his hand and he withdrew them instantly. Well, Never took some work. He wasn't feeling all too sleepy that moment so wished not to return to his Pokeball. It took Sorano some time after a game of 'dodge the scary red laser' with the Flareon to have him actually cooperate. The teal haired man was met with a bunch of snickers as the Flareon was withdrawn. Stupid little bugger. Couldn't be see this wasn't a game?
He twisted the little pouched in one had and the other Pokeball in the other. Where was Len? Sorano turned sharply about to see Dinkley Pigtails cowering behind him.
"Big brother, I don't want to me partnered with that woman! You said she was the she-devil!" she exclaimed wildly amidst her flailing and whines.
Sorano hastily slapped a hand over her mouth and whispered a "Shh!" when the hand holding the pouch's forefinger touched his lips.
"Dun' say it so loud!" he frowned. "Jus' go ova there an' listen ta what she says, 'kay? Yer not gonna die, 'specially with two higha-ups 'ere."
Lennyka inclined her head to the command and set off towards the brunette. He, in turn, turned back towards his partner and smiled the best he could (wasn't much of a challenge, actually).
"So!" he began and pointed towards a spot on the floor. "Miss, would ya be so kind ta walk ova there?"

Nadja looked at Sorano like he had grown a third arm. Then her brow furrowed.
She remembered his name now.
"'No words,' Mister Dinkley, does not mean 'stun your instructor by blatantly missing the point.' Language is a crutch; I intend to see you walk on your own. Pick another goal and keep your mouth shut."

Sorano sputtered. 'Epic failure' has a tendency to strike when given the chance. However, it's main target is dumb people. Sorano is a dumb person . . . does this seem like it is coming together?
The teal haired man shut his mouth and held his breath as he tried to tell him partner to 'do some Hindu squats'. Yet, the one telling the command was the one doing the command.

Seth snorted as he watched Sorano's epic failure, and then proceed to continue epically failing. He smirked in amusement at Nadja's commentary though.
And honestly, he could care less if the Dinkley girl died. She had already proved to be useless baggage.

Nyx held the bag of skitties and looked over at her partner for this exercise. She watched and waited, deciding to pick a motion the girl would do, like scratch her head or nose.
Her intention was to hand the girl a skittie when one of those things happened.

Lilith wrinkled up her nose with a frown. "Of course children are easier, but young pokemon are worse." She said then blinks at the question. Parenting, was this elite serious? "Isn't parenting build on love and caring for the young one?" She asked, but she never really knew the attention of being loved or cared for. Her twin was the one that was really babied.

A little bewildered when she was tossed a bag with skittles and given... very strange instructions. It took her a moment to really understand what exactly she was supposed to be doing, she had never done an exercise like this before.
Looking up to the girl that had been indicated as her partner, Faleen tilted her head, stepping over closer to her, taking a moment to think of a behavior she wanted the other girl to do. standing, and waiting for her to start doing different things.

Nyx scrached the top of her head and looked expectantly at Lilith. She desperately wanted the girl to stop talking and start being trained. She snapped her fingers a few times, trying to get her attention, and pointed to the skitties.

Nadja smiled, which is to say her eyes narrowed and her mouth turned up at the corners. There was no warmth in that expression. "I didn't say 'easier,'" she pointed out, and her tone was a warning to Lilith: watch your attitude. "I pointed out similarities."
In answer to the grunt's question, she smirked. "You can parent a child without loving it, and you can train a Pokemon without subscribing to a sentimental philosophy. But you do illustrate an important point - training has everything to do with listening and paying attention." Her eyes cut briefly to Nyx, who was doing her best to get Lilith's attention. "Both on the part of the trainer and the one being trained."
She looked away to observe another pair.

Seth shot Lilith a mildly annoyed look, but he said nothing. This was Nadja's class and he would save his comments for later. He had to roll his eyes a bit at what some of the students were doing. She had given them a rather simple task, and it seemed most of them weren't taking it seriously or making things too complicated for themselves.
His gaze then returned to the teacher. She was far more interesting anyway.

Lilith looked over at Nyx then the skittles. She nodded then scratched the top of her head. She shruged the took a step towards Nyx.

As soon as Lilith scratched her head, Nyx held out a skittie. There was more than one action performed, but now a limited list of possible things that would reward a treat.

The skittles clicked against one another briefly as Jen swiftly caught the small pouch, inhaling the familiar sweet scent for a moment. Ah, an old sweet from her childhood.
Unfortunately, these weren't ment to be enjoyed; they were for training. And...well...
Jen shot Sorano her best glare at the "nickname" so unwillingly given before withdrawing Cinaed back into his pokeball. She then turned towards Len with a friendly smile. Sister or not, the grunt had no personal grudge against the teal-haired sibling. And this was also a good way to perform these exercises Nadja wanted; not to mention to calm any fears Len might have of her ripping her head off.
She stepped a bit closer to the nervous gal and held out her free hand with her head tilted slightly to the side. The universal gesture of "pleased to meet you".

A shivering hand extended and laced with the other female's, thin muscles forcing that arm to shift down and up in greeting. Len was obviously scared. Yet, it was not only intimidation that made her tremble. Wait, wait, yes it was. It was definitely intimidation.
