You can keep your friends. eventually they will die. and you or me will guide them to the next dimension, where they will gain a new body. they will remember you there. And once in a while you can visit them." she said. she still looked down.

"maybe the ancestors have a solution." Grey said, activating the altar. the walls and roof seemed to dissapear, as you could see a space-like void. three Grimreapers holding a scythe joined in. they wore no cloaks. One of them was Grey's father, one of them was his grandfather, one of them was her grandfathers grandfather.

"Who is the stranger?" they asked.

Grey answered. "this is Seth, he accidentally became a Grimreaper after picking up a symbol that ment death, scribbled on a piece of paper."

Grey's grandfather walked to Seth "I apologize for the curse I brought upon you, but you must realize that it's also a gift." he said.

"you're facing the trouble of losing friends?" the oldest asked, "it's something we all did. We know it's difficult.

"we don't know if that is possible, the oldest among all Grimreapers probably knows if that is possible." Grey's father said, "But realise that all mortals die at some point, which means you'll leave your Immortal friends too."

Grey sat silently near the altar, looking up into the void.

((Zemastre, what would you choose for your character? I don't want to force you in something you don't want your character to be. so you control the oldest reaper ever! for now.))

Grey jumped, "S-split?" she said, "B-but that's even mor-" Grey fainted before she could finish her sentence.

Grey's Grandfather and father looked at eachother. "we have no Idea... only he and Grey know, and since Grey is currently unconcious... you'd better ask him." Grey's father said, pointing at the oldest.

((you know what you ment with splitting a soul, so you'd better explain that yourself with the old man, XD Grey fainted because she cares for Seth, a lot.))

Grey's Grandfather walked to The oldest one. "Is this reversable?" he asked.

Grey stirred, starting to wake up.

"what happens when one side of the soul dies?" Grey's grandfather asked.

Grey opened her eyes. "I'm Grey..." she said, halfy in daze since she just woke up. "what happened to Seth?" she said, trying to do a few steps, she was to dizzy for that, "Don't tell me... the split was succesfull? Please let it have been succesfull."

"Damn you two look like twins..." she said, helping Seth up. "Seth, are you allright?"

"Let's just hope that this is succesfull." the grandfather said, "In the meantime we must discuss this more, away from the children."

Grey's father and grandfather faded out already.
