Rehani saw Uumi, a rogue, and another of the Pridelanders looking her way for a moment before they returned to their own business. She moved closer to them, nodded in greetings to them all, but said nothing yet. It didn't appear as if any of them wanted to play, which did make her a bit saddened for a moment, befor eher attention turned to the conversations.

Kiuma was saying something to Uumi, but the other pridelander and the rogue were talking about it being impossible to live 'out there', which she assumed to mean the end of the Pride Lands and beyond.

Mchele watched the exchange of unpleasant words between the rogue and the twins, not daring to get in the path of fire. They both had some good points, sure there must be food and water to survive off since even his own mother had once been a rogue. But he had to agree with Kiuma's comment about the circle and how they were all connected, even if it was followed up with some nasty comments.

Getting to his feet slowly he shifted away from the pair of red lions, giving them some space and putting a bit more distance between them and himself. He didn't want to get picked on next.

Instead he moved a bit closer to Rehani and gave her a little smile. "Hi..." He greeted her, before glancing back to the others. "Kami? I don't think she's here right now. Yeah, having classes. But umm... Kiuma's right, about the circle I mean."

A low, broken purr began in Uumi. He was perfectly fine lettting his sister fight his battles for him. Well, sort of. "Kiuma, what signifigance does being prince get me?" He murmered low, mostly for her ears only. His tone was a bit bitter. Even though his sister was defending him he couldn't help but feel a little resentment. And besides, prince and princesses did not matter unless you were Heir. And Heir he was not, he would not even be back to these lands in days to come.

"Stupidity is not contagious, don't fret." He murmered after a moment, offering her a slow, twisted smile. He padded a few feet away and flopped down, back on the others. His tail flicked a little bit side to side, his gaze floating slowly toward the sky. A soft sigh came forth, and quickly he became lost in his own thoughts.

Starring silently at Kiuma, Ta found himself forcing his eyes away, a bit of shame of being a rogue crossing his mind while she turned away, insulting him. He was not too used to it, being with Kami did not give him the same verbal attacks. However, before he could continue down the path he was heading, Rehani came into his view, and he sent her a small smile, his shyness creeping in after being so rudly put down by the twins.

"You would think that the idea of the circle would make others treasure how they interact with people...clearly however...it doesnt seem to be going that way...Kami has classes with her father to become the ruler I think...though we like to play instead..."

Dropping her act, she followed her twin as he went to stretch out on the rock. "Uumi, being a Prince makes you special. It means that you're better than the rest, priviledged. Even if it doesn't seem that way here, that's what it is. You're a leader for the pride, and you have authority..." She trailed off with a sigh, rolling her shoulders in a shrug. "And I know its not contagious..." She hissed under her breath. "I just don't like the attitude these rogues all have. He should have some respect." The red female huffed as she settled onto her haunches, curling her tail around her paws.

Rehani saw Mchele move closer a bit. She gave him a small nod and a smile. "Hi." She answered, looking towards the others as well. She nodded in greetings to the rogue, though her mind was well on the circle of life, now that it seemed to remain the topic of choice.

She spoke quietly. "Kiuma is right about this circle, but so is he." She indicated the rogue with another nod in his direction. "Princes deserve respect, but the circle shows that all are equal. Uumi owes him respect, since there's no telling what his being alive has done or will do for Uumi." These comments were directed at no one lion in particular. As a matter of fact, now that she thought about it, it was probably just her musing aloud.

His greeting to the unknown princess returned, Mchele now turned his attention more fully to the others. The other young female was doing the same anyway. "All connected, all important in our own ways." He added to her musings. Why, he himself would grow into a hunter for the pride, adding his usefulness even though he was not royalty.

"Yes, pride leaders are very important. They make big decisions that can affect a whole group of lions. But other lions have their place too. Hunters, protectors, that sort of thing. And even rogues have a place.... like..." He thought. What had Ta done already or had yet to do to add to the circle. "Well, like with Ta and Kami, they can make good friends. And even join prides and make them stronger."

Uumi's fur was bristling, his smoldering gaze was on his twin as a matter of fact. Look at what she'd done with her circle of life garbage. And being a prince made him no more special than the next lion, he knew that even if he acted otherwise. Had Kiuma become a moron overnight? Uumi was not useful in any manner, here or there, where ever there could be. His tail lashed again. He could not hunt, he would not leade here, hell. He caused more trouble than he was worth.

His eyes flicked to Rehani, narrowing. "You'd find it wise to keep silent, Rehani. No lion deserves respect, at all. We all just seek it to think ourselves important." He snorted. The subject better change soon, it was making him very sour.

His ears swiveled and his gaze quickly went to Mchele. "Do you recall that Ta does not belong to a pride, Mchele? How can he join a pride with my sister's when she will one day rule here... if that pride does not exist? It would make nothing stronger if he and my sister bacame more than friends. He'd just act as, well... a toy, if you will." His brows rose. What twisted logic was this? Uumi actually believed every word he spat out.

Ta found himself looking away as Uumi spoke, his eyes darkening while the words rung through his mind. He never knew another could be so heartless, that he would judge another just by their status in life.

"So your name is Rehani...?" He asked the other princess, "You dont need to be silent...no one should be silent unless their words can harm others...if they dont have anything nice to say...they shouldnt say anything at all or something like that..." He glanced to Uumi before walking towards Rehani, "You know...maybe we should just go and play some games...I am trying to surprise Kami with a new game, I just need to pratice it a bit...what do you say? You can join as well...Mchele was it?" Smiling to both of them, he did not bother to invite thoes who were so rude to him.

As Kiuma felt the heat of her twin's gaze, her ears fell back and some fire entered her own eyes. She returned him glare for glare, refusing to back down for even her other half. When his eyes moved on, she relaxed, huffing sharply as her tail lashed once. She cared little for what was being said anymore. Arguing bothered her. It was so much easier to just cuff the upstart upside the head than to try and lock wits with them.

Small rounded ears perked at the word 'game' though. The red adolescent huffed again, supressing the whistful feeling she got as the rogue invited the two golden lions to play with him, ignoring the red ones completely. She ignored the little needle of hurt that pierced her heart, telling herself that she was better off not playing with them. She had Uumi, after all... even if he couldn't play like she wished to...

Rehani looked at her brother, thinking for a moment over what he'd said. "I'm not wise. So the silence would be wasted," she replied with a small smile. She looked at the rogue, Ta he had been called, nodding. "Yep, Rehani's my name." She said, her voice a little louder than it had been before. Her quietness seemed to be fading a little.

At the mention of games, Rehani's ears perked up and she gave a small leap in the air. "I'd love to play!" She said, looking at Mchele to see if he would as well. Playing would be fun!

Mchele blinked at Uumi. He didn't get that lion much at all. He was a prince, treated everyone with contempt and yet didn't want respect? Not that he was likely to get it with that attitutude, at least not a nice sort of respect just a fearful sort.

"Yes, I do recall he doesn't belong to a pride Uumi." He replied, quietly. "That's why he'd be able join this one, like my parents did." He didn't understand what the red male was getting at. "And... and you don't know that. You don't know Ta." Of course, neither did Mchele.

Turning his head to the lion in question he gave a small smile and nod. "That sounds like something my mum would say." He agreed on the whole 'nothing nice to say' saying. "And yeah, a game sounds like fun. What game is it?" He perked up at that, scooting a glance at the other two who hadn't been invited. Well, it was obvious why Ta hadn't asked them. However he couldn't tell if Kiuma's small huff was one of indifference or disappointment.

Fine, they did not want to hear his snotty words. And he actually did not mind the play invite, Kib was the only one that had asked him to play a real game. Though he wasn't sure he'd find many lions playing such a game, because it did involve a bit of intelligence on the lion's part. Most lions around these parts only liked games that took little to no effort in the thinking area. He rolled his eyes seeing Kiuma a bit disappointed, and nipped at her side.

"I saw a wounded gazelle over near the east waterhole, want to check it out?" He murmered. "It was still alive before. If we're lucky it won't be dead yet." Uumi wasn't all bad, he was trying to cheer Kiuma up, because she hadn't been invited to the game. Uumi expected that of her, even if she liked the more violent games she did like playing. Uumi never had liked playing, he was rather bitter about playing because any games that required stanima in the slightest... well, he'd have some kind of breathing attack if he played them.

With out his answer he began to mander that way, tail flicking. Well, it was better this way. He wouldn't 'win' with a crowd against him in his thoughts, even if he knew he was 'right'. He glanced back to her. "I know you'd rather play with the half-dead gazelle than..." He gave a disgusted look at the three others, including his big sister. "Them."

Ta'Ziyan watched Uumi sulk off, and when he glanced back, silence would be all that greeted the red lion from the copper one. His silence would speak louder than any retort, for it was not one of distaste, but one of disappointment. Ta knew that this lion was a rude one, but still for him to act that way to his sister, that was something he thought more of Uumi. Siblings were family, and him never getting to spend time with his own caused him to know just how it felt to be alone.

"He should treasure them..." He whispered to himself as he turned back to glance at Kiuma, waiting for her to say something nasty and stalk off as well. The gaze he gave her was one of tire, the act the two had was getting old and the pain that they inflicted was scraping him raw.

It was than Rehani spoke up and he turned fully to look at her, "Your words sounded wise to me." He murmered with a sort of smile, nodding, "Advice that any lion could take and prosper from..." His voice still was soft, the pain hidden behind the sheild of his tone. When both she and Mchele agreed to play, he grined softly and spoke up.

"Well...it is kind of childish, but still fun none-the-less...you see I never was able to play games when I was younger...my siblings passing off at such a young age along with my parents left me alone to fend for myself...it wasn't until I met the princess that I learned a few games. Follow the leader being one of them..." Trailing off at the memory, he soon shook the though and smiled.

"So yes...it is a little juvenile...but it can be fun if you imagin enough...I call it Preditor and Prey..."

Kiuma perked her ears, her expression brightening. "Are you sure, Uumi? I'd love to go look... Even if its dead already, we can still play with it." She chuckled harshly as she rose and padded after him, all youthful energy and rippling muscles. She grinned crookedly, her head slung low as her tufted tail swayed behind her. The red cub ignored the others completely now. They wanted nothing to do with her, and that was fine. As long as they weren't bothering Uumi, she could ignore them like the grass that surrounded them.
