Day Two!
The first snacky had been delicious, at least for a time. Then it had promptly bitten him and scampered off somewhere to hide, leaving a very dejected and very hungry swamp monster. That was why, today, he was back. And more determined than ever, to boot!
Again, the gel was chomped at, but if Gargantuan was being honest with himself, it didn't taste very good at all. Sort of. So, eager to repeat yesterday's experiment, he plunged his hand into the center of the stuff, blindly groping about with enthusiasm. Snackies! More snackies!
All he had to do was find them!

Day 2
Another day, another wait in line later to get some more things. He had rushed back to his dorm to wash his arm and brand new stapler free of slime, but in the process of cleaning it, he noticed it snapped at him and glare. After some negoiations and talking into his dorm room from behind the door, the stapler and Calder came into agreement that it could staple anything it wanted aside from his body. So far it had done a good job of finding his clothes and pinning them to the floor.
He hoped his next school supplies would either be more well mannered or distract the stapler. Maybe a timid eraser or meek pencil case? He could only hope, and after a slow - step - step - step - in line, he returned to the Storekeeper once more.
"Hello again." He forced a smile and swallowed hard, rolling up his sleeve. It was uncomfortable to come once and dip your hand into something, a something that seemed to have thoughts and feelings. It was now even more disturbing to do so again, the awkwardness of the situation more heavy on him than on the Goopy Glob who, from what he could make out from his featherless form, didn't mind at all. Well, aside from giving off the feeling of impatience.
At least he managed to look at where his hand was going this time instead of looking away. He only hoped he didn't get another stapler. If those two got together, he would be prying off his things from the wall all school year.

Trying to hide his embarrassment as he finally got up to the front of the line, Aedan muttered something about how he hadn't forgotten a number of necessary school supplies, but was simply wanting to stock up on extras...just in case something...y'know, melted or got burnt to a crisp. Finally shutting up, Aedan inhaled, then shoved his sleeve up his arm, and boldly reached into the goo.
Unable to disguise his disgust at the disgusting, thick, cloying mass that seemed to want to adhere itself to his arm, Aedan groped around, finally brushing his fingertip against something solid (it felt like it had taken hours, but had probably only been a few seconds). Grabbing it firmly, Aedan strained, finally pulling his hand (and his prize!...if school supplies could be called such) free with a loud sucking noise.

Day two
It was with a bit of suspicion that Nuk approached the cube again the next day, glowing gold eyes still glued to it with that same mild disgust, plus a new spark of interest. It was small, and it was hard to see beyond the facade that the skinwalker put up as he warily made his way through the line, but it was there. He wouldn't yet admit to himself that he was addicted, but it took half the time for him to get to the front of the line than it had the day before, only stopping a few times to curse a mean streak and stubbornly refuse to move (again, the students just rolled their eyes and moved around him.)
When the green blob... thing had spat out his hand, it had also spat out an object. Curled tightly in his fingers, a green and black pen had been the prize of his endeavors, remarkably unremarkable for the tantrum he'd thrown. In fact, he'd been disappointed. While he wasn't sure what exactly he had been expecting, it surely hadn't been a boring pen. He'd almost chucked it on the way back to his dorm, spinning it and tossing it idly, looking extremely pouty and annoyed. But like most things, the more Nuk thought about it, the more things started to make sense to him, in his own... stupid way. What greater object to get than a pen? It suited him quite a bit, really. Especially if it was the fifteenth pen. That thought had made him smirk, and suddenly the thing that had disappointed him not two moments before became the object of great pride. It was a rather big pen, wasn't it? Nice and hard too. By the time he made his way back to the dorm, he was sure he'd gotten the best damn prize of them all. His glee increased triple fold as he flopped down his bed, holding it up to the light to see it better, when suddenly it shifted, coiling around his wrist and turning its head to hiss at him.
A snake.
Dear Jack, it was PERFECT.
So he'd decided to go back. Hesitantly. He couldn't make it seem like he was too eager, you know.
So there he was, standing once again before the jelly cube. Again the skinwalker made a face, just for show this time, a slight smirk curling his lips as he stuck his hand inside once more.

Day One: He really should have tried to get to the store earlier he decided. He had -thought- that by waiting he'd beat the lines even if he had slimmer pickings of the school supplies. Now he was just hoping that he got something that wasn't half digested, and that he wouldn't be digested. UGH... He waited in line mostly patient, with only the occasional hiss when someone backed up onto his toes. Pumpkin-guts he hated being bipedal. When he finally reached the front of the line he made a face, sighed and stuck his arm in, groping around in the 'goo' till his fingers closed around 'something' and he pulled it free unable to wait long enough to make sure it was something he needed. It made a sound like quicksand gulping someone down, or perhaps regurgitating them might be more accurate in this case.

Altair regarded the gelatinous cube with a mixture of disgust and amusement, though mostly disgust, because he knew that if he hoped to get his own school supplies, he'd have to stick his own hand into that thing and not just titter at his classmates doing it. The incubus stepped up to the cube, his face contorted into an uncharacteristically frightening face of disgust, and reluctantly lowered one of his hands into the goo, which gave to his touch with a sickening squelch before it enveloped his hand, indeed, his arm up to his wrist, and he failed at pulling the sleeve of his coat higher before it, too, sank into the goey mass, and with a groan he gave in to it and clawed around for one of those school supplies, determined to get SOMETHING out of it now that he'd come this far.

What kind of a shopkeeper -ate- their merchandise?
Twitch had spent the last fifteen minutes or so fidgeting anxiously in the line. Now here, at the front, he stood staring at the gelatinous cube a moment in wonder. Man, shove a few glowsticks in that thing and---
"Hurry it -up- Spazball!"
Whoa boy, the others in the line also seemed anxious to claim their school supplies and hurry on with the rest of the day. Pulling a face of both wonder and disgust, Twitch shoved a paw in and grabbed the first solid thing he felt.

She couldn't believe she was doing this again. It was possibly the most DISGUSTING thing she'd seen at the school yet, but she couldn't just let it be. Nooo, she had to get yet another supply for her classes.. ...
and this damn yellow blob had to have it for her! AUGH.
Unfortunately, this meant reaching her hand in again..

Once again, Adriene stood before the quivering cube of jelly. If it had a face, it would probably be smirking at her. A grown woman, opposed to a bit of goo? But what could she do? She couldn't start the school year with just a pair of scissors!
Rolling her sleeve up higher this time, the professor plunged in her arm...

She needed to have more than just a pen to write with, right? What about notebooks, or a stapler, or whatever else came with that whole deal of having school supplies? Temes knew she had to do something about that of her own accord, so with a gulp of the liquid in her Thermos she reached her hand again.
This time...it kinda tickled?

The once pristinely-yellow-green surface of the creature's skin was no longer looking quite so pristine. Instead it had taking on a brownish tint from the contant touch and probe of grubby fingers, was dotted with fur [and was that a louse?], and was covered in fingerprints.
It huffed, bubbled out something that might have been a sigh as it rearranged its contents again. It really needed a bath.
((Sent out up to here!))

Day Three!
Well. Gargantuan hadn't realized that the big, delicious blob was a person. He wasn't supposed to eat people. It had made him very guilty indeed, and so, slinking into the store once more (as best an over grown, clumsy swamp monster could slink), G came bearing gifts of apology. Surely Mr. Blobby understood that he was but a poor, hungry beast! But he was good at sharing, and rather happily, the monster stuffed his fist back into the center of the ooze and let his fingers uncurl.
A dead frog was now floating among the school supplies. For when Mr. Blobby got hungry, clearly.
Satisfied and pleased to see his present so well-accepted (...yeaaaah...), Gargantuan didn't feel nearly as bad when he sneaked out another snack. Fair was fair!

day three:
Raz stood in front of the blob, wishing that he didn't have to do this again. Hopefully he wouldn't get any repeats. He wanted to be done with this as soon as possible.
Holding back his gag reflex, Raz reached his hand into the blob and felt around until something cold touched his fingers. He grasped it and quickly pulled his hand free.

Day 1:
They had to stick their hands in there to get stuff for school? Marzena couldn't help but scowl at this prospect, but then again, she scowled a lot lately. She shuddered at the appearance of the blob, and even though it would probably be wet, it was still disgusting. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
The selkie rolled up her sleeves, wrinkled her nose and reached into the cube in an attempt to grab one of those things floating around inside, and fast.
...She was going to take a bath after this.

Day Three
Onibi waited, face impassive as the two reapers in line before him giggled and clung to each other, girly shrieks echoing loudly in his ears as they reached into the gelatinous shopkeeper. His eyebrow twitched minutely as one ripped their arm out at the first feel of the squishy cube, hand empty, only to have to repeat the process all over again with double the fanfare and squeals.
For the tenth time.
The tiny shadow creature that had decided to take up residency in his andon lamp (and why such a creature had decided such a bright place was perfectly suited for it, he didn't know) flinched back at the bombardment of noise.
When finally, finally the two reapers had finished and moved on, Onibi stepped back up to face the now familiar shop keeper. Without so much as a pause this time, the thrust his hand into the quivering cube, wandering fingers grasping the first item they encountered.
