Hikaru shook his head "So if I may ask how did you come across this place?" A hint of curiosity on his face.

"I..", Mariam trailed off.
"I was nearly hopeless after running away... nearly at the brink of death. I was scavenging around this area and came across this place. They took me in and I was really luckey".
She then looked at him. "What about you?"

Hikaru nodded when he heard what she had to say and than went sat in a chair "A umm.. friend of mine from where I'm from had ran away and told me of this place. I was told to meet him here but it seems he hasnt made it yet..We ran away from our home to be free." He got up and walked to a nearby small fridge and grabbed a water out and took a drink.

"Oh I see... so you're supposed to be meeting this person..", Mariam said as she sat up on her bed and fiddled around with her necklace.

He raised his hand and a small ball of water rose out of the bottle and he held it there. "Yeah we planned on staying here and just try and find somewhere to be at peace." He began making the water zoom around the room. "Is it weird for you, I mean being around people like me...I mean that arent human?"

"It is slightly but I guess I have to get used to it... I mean I'm in a school with pretty much all non-human spieces", Mariam said softly. "I feel different though... I'm scared that I might be outcasted here too", she said looking down with tears forming in her eyes.

Hikaru looked at her "No reason to cry, if you didnt have the potential to be in this school they would have healed you up and let you on your way. But they kept you here so you must have something inside you thats hiding inside you waiting to bloom."

Hikaru dropped the water back into his bottle and smiled "I would say your welcome but you have no reason to thank me all I did was speak the truth." and he walked over to his bead and grabbed his hat and put it back on. "And if your going to be staying here I might as well tell you whispering doesnt work so well alot of the people here are extra sensitive with there senses." He laughed lightly and began singing to the plants.

Mariam laughed at Hikaru's comment.
"It doen't hurt to be dramatic at times", she joked as she walked over to him listening to him sing.

Hikaru continued singing and just gave her a quick smile the plants in the room began to glow brightly and began to realease a wonderful scent through the room.

Mariam smiled back.
She took a deep breath taking in the beautiful scent that was flowing across the room and sighed.
