"The gods know it is no lie and so do you," Uru spat. He turned to face Eversor, "We'll have to go to the island, I suspect Kurag's daughter is there." He looked to Afsana, "get your gold and be done with this man."
Afsana smiled. He was turning out to be one ballsy little monk. She rolled her eyes and walked past him, he was right, she had gold to collect, " Okay, dragonback works, but wait for me. Alright, King, let's have that gold."

"Of course, "Attorra's pale blue eyes were as angry as ever, as he glanced over his ksher at the demon king beside him, "if it means angering Kurag, I'm all for it." He took a long drag on the pipe and blew out a ring of smoke, "She's on the beach right? I'm there." He stood without another word, and exited. He walked the beach for a while before he spotted the girl. It must've been her, she fit the description perfectly. He approached, knowingly taking the girl by surprise, "Milady, you shouldn't be out here alone. Rather shady characters out and about."

Kurag laughed "Oh no darling you only get half until my daughter is here safe and sound." pulling a small leather bag from his hip he tossed it to Afsana. "Split it between you and Xeema, her half is in there." With that all said the king gather his men and head off.

Xeema sighed her hand still lightly pressed agents the monk's back. "So seer monk, shall we hear your name?" She asked "I respect your wishes what ever they may be so if you have another name you want us to call you, you only need say it."

Paha spoke aloud. "Good job my most trusted Eversor. Keep them safe, and try and lead them to me. But do not tell them. I ouldn't want to frighten them away."

Kadra hadn't been paying any attention to her surroundings. So the sudden apperance of the man made her jump back, a small explosan of sand shot up into the air a few feet away from the man. "Oh mother I am so sorry" she stammered. "I, I can't control it!"

Eversor, The Black Fire Dragon
"It shall be done.", and with that, Eversor severed their mental connection and took on his dragon form after being engulfed in another vortex of dark fire. The dragon flared his wings to stretch them, then folded them neatly on his back. Eversor layed on his belly flat on earth, stretching out one of his hindlegs to be used as a ramp so his passengers could board him. The dragon flatten the spines and membranes that went from the middle of the top of head head all the way down to tip of his serpentine tail. "First passenger sits in the hollow where my neck meets my shoulders. All others sit behind the first and hold onto the person infront of you.", Eversor advised his allies.

Afsana scoffed, "Yeah yeah, whatever." She tucked the gold away into her shirt and joined the rest of the group again. "Yeah, what is your name?"
"Uru, is my name," he turned to Xeema, "And I've told you already I am not a Seer He turned back to Eversor, "So, are we ready to go then?" He looked up at the dragon and made a face, "I'm not getting on that thing first." He leaned toward the dragon, "My Apologies, him."

Attorra was shocked for a quick moment before he allowed the scene to register, "So, you're not a human. I apologize for thinking so, I know many non-humans find it irritating."

Xeema, being a demon herself held only respect and not fear. Walking over she climbed up and onto his back. Steadying herself she offer to help the others up. "Well let's get going then shall we?"

Kadra frowned, her eyes began to sting, she didn't want to cry. "NO! I am human." She said more to convince herself then any thing else. "I mean I was a human." She said softly.
Kadra had found her strange powers amusing at first until her dad found out. He yelled at her and told her she was cursed with demon blood. She was locked in her room for "safe keeping" soon after that.

Eversor nodded to Uru, biting back a growl at being called a thing. The dragon let off a puff of smoke. "Well, you are not going to be the first. Xeema beat you to it and yes, we are ready. I'm always ready!", the dragon said, letting off a small burst of black flame from his jaws into the air. "You can tell me of your holy culture in exchange for me telling you of my kin?", Eversor offered the monk. The dragon's leg was starting to fall asleep...

Afsana leapt up next, and reached down to help Uru onto Everor's back, "Come on you, you're going to have to get better at this."
Uru just took the offered hand and climbed on, he held on tightly, as well,as he had never flown before, and he wasn't ready for his first time quite yet. "Gods help me." He looked to Eversor when he spoke however, and nodded, "That I can do. But when we land."

"You don't have an ounce of demon blood, at all?" He smiled, but was willing to drop it, "My name is Attorra, dear human, now what can I call you?"

Xeema took her place on the dragon and looked back at the other two, excited. "Dragon ridding can be quite fun, if you got an experienced flyer to sit on of course." Patting Eversor's head she continued to talk. "And I do believe we got ourselves a veteran."

Kadra shook her head "No, not a drop." She looked him over feeling like she shouldn't quite trust the man. "Shiva, you can call me Shiva. So are you a human?" Glad to no longer be alone "What are you doing out here?"

Eversor nodded to Uru. "Very well., he said to the monk, then looked to Xeema. "Of coarse you do! Hold on!", the dragon warned before he lunged into the air, snapping his wings open and quickly rose over the trees. He flapped his powerful wings, gaining altitude. Soon enough, Eversor leveled out and let himself glide on in the direction of Karmae. The wind wasn't too bad up where they were, his passengers could talk to each other over the wind if the shouted loud enough. Eversor licked his lips as he spotted a cattle ranch on the ground, but made no movement toward it.

Uru's stomach lurched and he made a gagging sound as he turned his head away, just in case. Flying was definitely not something he wanted to get used to. Sure the view was quite nice when one allowed themselves to take it all in. Take it all in, Uru looked down and noticed how high they were in the clouds and sat straight back up immediately. He didn't need to see the beautiful landscape if it was only going to remind him how easy it would be to die from a height like that. He swallowed hard and whimpered, "Aren't we there yet?"

"Not too far now! Nothing's faster than riding dragonback these days.", he said casually, looking back around at his passengers. "Would you like to go lower, Uru? Or do you like your hide free of arrows?", chuckled to the monk. Nevertheless, the dragon lowered his altitude a mile or so. They were below the clouds and could see everything on the ground clearly, but Eversor was careful to stay out of range of any arrow.

Xeema felt great. "hey Eversor, can you go faster?" She asked leaning forward so she could be heard. The last dragon ride she had been on was similar to the one now, sept the last dragon had been smaller and faster. A friend of Xeema's who was killed in the recent warring.
Looking back at Uru she almost felt bad, but she still wanted her little joy ride. Demons were generally selfish, and she was no different.

Uru would've wished death upon the girl if he hadn't been a monk. Instead he protested peacefully, "No, no. I think we're going fast enough, thank you."

"Shiva?" Attorra questioned, "well in that case call me Pavarti." He smiled, " I was going to ask you the same thing, Princess."

"Of course. I thought you'd never ask!", He laughed as he turned his head back to where was going, not hearing the monk over the wind. The frills and fins on the sides of his head flatten against him. The same went for his arms and legs. They were nearing the coast of the mainland. Perfect! "Hold on really tight!", he warned with a wolf-ish grin.
Eversor suddenly tucked his wings against his sides and dove straight down at the shoreline that was directly beneath them.

Uru couldn't hear his own loud protest over the sound of the wind whipping all about him. He held on tightly to the woman in front of him, which he would have never even considered in any other situation. He shut his eyes tightly however, and prayed they would land soon.
Afsana rolled her eyes, Uru would get better about this with time, hopefully.
