*MK started calling on his LGHT again as he ran off toward the loading bay with Zaryn still in his arms*

*After an askew delay to parts unknown, the warp gate activated and the Commander MK walked out through it. He assured himself at the local access panel that the gate sealed itself after his entrance and he proceeded on toward his new lab*

*The time lord worked feverishly night and day in his lab, new concerns fueling an almost raging work ethic. All of Solaris was quiet save for the lights and noise escaping MK's lab, and within was surely mad science at work*

*The Time Lord set his current work aside and exited the lab, heading down the long winding corridors and into the back high security chamber. Before him was the disabled timestream mechanism, and he reluctantly grabbed the lever with both hands and brought it back to life. The stream became visible immediately, and he tampered with a control panel beside it. the color changed to silver, and the man stepped into it, almost completely disappearing from view.*

*Cycling through the forms of LGHT, DRK, and GRY, each shed its clothing onto the floor beneath him. Returning to a neutral state, MK staggered out of the beam and collapsed face first on the floor, passing out cold. There was no longer a trace of NRGY within him.*

*Weakened in every sense of the word, MK kicked the switch for the stream and shut it down. He got to his feet with the energy he could muster, and staggered out of the room and down the corridor*
