 Juliette "Etoile" CainShe tilted her head slightly to the side, her eyes closing in a peaceful expression. The 'ding' sounded, and she watched him take a sip from his glass, looking slightly at her own before tasting the bubbly liquid as well. Juliette blinked slightly at the next thing, looking up at her master, searching around in his expression before a calm expression once again came over her, her eyes now half closed. "What I enjoy doing...", she repeated as if she was wondering, what to answer, but in fact she new exactly, what to answer. "Imagine a field filled with flowers on the top of a hill with a great view of all the surrounding landscapes. Having no more than an empty portrait by your side and a pencil. You can feel the wind... The scent of the flowers... I remember the scent of lilies. French lilies from my birth town, but that is only a faint memory. Those are the things I enjoy the most", she said in a dreamy voice, her eyes now opening fully, and almost seeming to shine.

 Șeth Țylerson Seth carried on sipping his champagne glass whilst listening to Juliette go into an almost dream like state as she talked about her native home. He made a mental note of her descriptions, especially about the French lilies. When she had finished speaking, he noticed how her eyes were shining and couldn't decide it if was because of the champagne or because of her memories. Seth decided to lean more towards the memories.
"Where exactly in France are you from?"

Juliette "Etoile" CainJuliette became a bit quiet after that. Remembering those memories made a pleasant feeling appear, and some not as pleasant, but she wouldn't want to think further in that direction. She looked back up at him, about to answer his question. "I am from Cahors, but we later moved to Paris. It is a long time ago", she answered him, some of her French accent showing for a moment. Then she reached the glass up to her light pink lips, taking a sip from it.

Șeth Țylerson Seth nodded before he began to finish off the rest of his champagne.
"What were your duties for the master before me?" The profile he had recieved of her failed to include those details as well. Seth figured that it would be something he would need to know, so he would have better knowledge about what she would excel at and what duties he should give her.

Juliette "Etoile" CainThe next thing her master asked her, made her look thoughtful for a moment. She wasn't used to speak that much about herself to her masters. "My previous master... hm, I cleaned around the mansion for him. He wasn't interested in knowing his slaves, and therefore I didn't do much else than cleaning. He had people for being in the kitchen, but if someone was missing, I could take that spot, but I will have to admit, that what I make won't be succeeded each time...", she admitted slightly, tilting her head a bit.

Șeth Țylerson Seth, ever the listener, nodded.
"Well, as you can see this apartment isn't a mansion, so you won't be spending all of your time cleaning it. I guess the most you will be doing is the dishes, bathroom, laundry...those sorts of cleaning duties. I mostly eat out because of meetings with my editor or the publishing company, so no worries about the cooking. The majority of your time I guess, you will be doing what you wish."

Juliette "Etoile" CainJuliette finished her glass of champagne as he spoke, listening to it silently. She then sent him one of her rare smiles, which showed that warm feeling. "I really appreciate that", she answered him, not expecting that she would be given time to do, what she wished to do. Lightly she closed her eyes for a moment, letting her pale lashes touch her cheek. This wasn't like what she was used to, but she was sure, that she was going to like it here.

Șeth Țylerson Seth took in her warm smile and his mind -in the background of his thoughts- began writing out a passage about it before locking it away for later use.
"Another glass?" Only just noticing that she had finished her first round of the champagne. His house phone began to ring,
"In fact, if you do then you may pour it out yourself." He pours himself another glass before walking through the kitchen to the living room at an easy pace. His hand plucked up the wireless phone and placed it at his ear as Seth began to lounge on the leather couch.
"Hello?"

Juliette "Etoile" CainShe thought for a moment, that her master looked slightly thoughtful, but then paid attention once again, as he spoke to her. The empty glass between her fingers had only a few drops left in it. She was just going to answer the man, but then she heard the same ringing uniform sound coming from the phone, making her look in the direction towards it. Juliette watched him leave and then lightly lifted the bottle, pouring a bit of the bubbly clear liquid in her glass, wondering about the phone call...

Șeth Țylerson It turned out to be Seth's highly irritating editor, wondering where in the world was Seth's newest chapter. Over the next few minutes, Seth tried to calm the man down, explaining the reason why the written piece had yet to be sent to him. He easily worked his way around from telling him that he had writer's block. Soon enough, the editor decided that his reasons were enough and ended the call.
Seth then sighed in relief and then gently threw the phone onto the other side of the couch. He started to ease back into the couch, trying to relax from the far from peaceful phone call. He sipped some of his champagne and wondered if Juliette was still in the kitchen.

Juliette "Etoile" CainAfter some time, where she stayed in the kitchen, glancing slightly towards those windows, eying something far away, but not taking more time to look at it. She couldn't help but wonder, who might could have called. Still holding her champagne glass in her hands, she took some steps across the kitchen, walking towards the door, her master had disappeared behind.
Juliette noticed her master on the couch, as she finally came to where Seth was. He seemed like he wanted to calm down over something, she noticed slightly, but she could have been wrong. "Who... ?", she dared to ask, some of her faint accent showing once again.

Șeth Țylerson Seth glanced back at her when his slave, wait, that didn't settle right. Servant? No. Maid? He deemed it suitable enough but it still didn't feel right. He decided just to go with her name for now.
"Just the most annoying person I have met since I moved to London." He tells her as if it's old news that he's told countless amounts of people, "He's nearly taken that worthy title from my older brother." Seth smirked a bit before taking another sip of the bubbly liquid. He wondered if she was going to ask about his family now.

Juliette "Etoile" CainAs mentioned before, Juliette wasn't really used to speak with her master like this. Always had she been told, that she was lower than the master, and didn't have a right to ask about inappropriate stuff or be curious about the master's privacy, for that sake.
Her eyebrows tilted slightly upwards because of the words, her master used, but it did bring a very faint smile on her face. "Hm, it didn't sound like it was a pleasant sounding voice either", she answered him, remembering the loud voice from the phone call, and then thought about Seth's older brother shortly, as he had mentioned, but let the thought flew away slightly after... Her master didn't have a good relationship to his brother?

Șeth Țylerson Seth seemed to notice her confusion over his choice of words about his brother. However, the thought left momentarily as he noticed she was still standing in the doorway.
"Why don't you take a seat Juliette?" His hand moved off to the side over the whole couch as if he was a salesman unvailing his newest item for sale. It would be interesting to see if she would accept his offer or decline it.
