Class. Class. Class. Class. Class.

Class. Class. Class. Class. Class.

Lucien was focused. He had to sign up for class! He couldn't go chasing that butterfly in the wind, or see what happens when water accidentally floods the mummy floor of the undead dormitory. He had to sign up for class. He pushed his way into the door and...

Ding!

What was that?

Lucien looked around, half confused. Where was he? What was he doing here! His toes curled against the floor for a moment before his eyes looked around at all the students in the room. Why were they here? Students in a room... OOOH! That was right. Class. Bare feet pressed against the floor, Lucien smoothly walked over to the paper and signed his name.

L... U... C... I... E... ... ... N...

User Image

He opened his mouth as if to sigh in relief before finding himself a seat, midair, in the back of the classroom where he settled down and waited. Looking around, there was a student who looked like a black dog, and then one that looked like a green... green... well it could crush him, he wasn't going to go there. Feeling the safer decision, Lucien's eyes settled on the black dog nearby.

The loup-garou turned away from her name on the sign-up sheet, scratched out in a quick (mostly illegible) hand. The head of her favorite pen slipped into Davi's mouth as she glanced out at the class. There were more kids in here than she'd seen since the beginning of the year, now that she took the time to think about it. Who would've thought shapeshifting class would end up so popular?

Still twisting the well-chewed pen between her lips, Davinica grunted at the notion. Popular class just meant more students to take up her time. More people she didn't quite know, but had to be sociable with anyway. And of course, the girl mused, stepping away from the board to the sight of rapidly filling seats; it meant more students taking up space she would have been more than happy to stretch out in. If the teacher wasn't going to be here anyway, she might as well get comfortable, right?

The unfortunate pen (not at all like some of the deliciously horrible writhing pens these other kids had - where did they get those?) flipped absently between Davi's fingers as she secured a seat beside a snoozing ghost. On her other side, a gaggle of students (oh mater luna, you are very large and very green, good sir) chattered amiably.

Davi glanced over at the ghost, eyebrows lifting typically, and wondered how in Halloween she could sleep through all of that.

Daisuke watched as more students started to pour in to the class, it was filling up at a sporadic pace which was something he would never of figured, were there really that many students who wanted this class? What was it anyway? His only clue was the unmissable writing that glared out at you from the board, he sighed a little, all these students were familiar, even just vaguely and. . . Was that kid. . . Staring at him? He peered over his shoulder, feeling his aura colder than the usual to see two bright yellow eyes shooting from the dark corner. It almost sent shudders through the wispy appearance, he quickly flicked his glance back around to the board, raising an eyebrow.

Wha. . ? Was he really that interesting? Did he have a grudge against him? Honestly, why didn't they just talk to him? Oh yeah, unless he wasn't in class he was just that kid with glasses. The outcast of the popular kids which weeeere right over there. The teachers pet. Jack dammit he wasn't he just didn't want to intrude. He grabbed a pen, tapping it against his chin quite contently in thought. Until his eyes wandered to the tall werewolf girl who had made that bone cringing sound with her chair in the last class. She was so fluffy, almost made him want to pet her. Kinda weird. . . His eyes followed her to her seat, but he never moved his head and then when she sat, he just moved his fickle gaze back to the front and let it focus there for a while.

After a long moment of scrawling, the kid stared up at Morrigan in a flat sort of way that definitely wasn't childish. In all honesty, despite his terrible complexion and obvious youth, there was something frightening just about the narrowed look he gave her: no chance he could take her one, one-on-one, but he obviously would very much try.

"Lady, take your hand back or lose it."

His attention turned back to his watch, dismissive, and then to a sheet of scrawling, small notes in front of him.

Remi was scowling, not expecting to have to be stuck in LOWLY first year classes again. He hated this, he KNEW he did well in his last classes... this had to be some sort of practical joke someone was playing on him, damn that Arel. He had a feeling this was all the horned ice demons fault, but without a way to proove it he had to just suck it up and take it. Two first year classes? He could handle that, right? He had...after all taken them before.

A familiar chime rang out across the (mostly) filled room as the kitsune opened the door and closed it behind him. This was a class he took before, one that...as a trickster, he enjoyed. Quickly glancing around the room he grinned broadly, as if seeing something the others could not. Shoving his hands into his pockets he went up to the sign in sheet and scribbled his name down.

Oh boy this was going to be fun. He turned around and eyed the first years, as if DARING them to ask why a second year was in a first years course. He had already been warned that while he was in a first years class, he alone would have harder homework.

There were quite the array of students around, A black dog... paper ghost... chupicabra.. or however you said that word. "It isn't nice to be rude to a lady, you know." He grinned towards the man with the glasses that just addressed Morrigan. Quickly not waiting for a reply, he chose to move past, and settle down somewhere in the middle of the classroom.

What a brat! Morrigan stared down at the little face with anger but she did promptly remove her hand. What was wrong with this kid? "I was just trying to be nice," she mumbled dryly, attempting to shrug it off. She walked back to her seat and sat down. This would teach her to try to be friendly.

She made a note to prank him someday. Maybe steal his underwear and toss it in a tree for all to see. Something really embarrassing. He deserved it. What embarrassed her was that she listened to him. There was just something about him. Besides, he seemed busy right? Obviously he was some kind of teacher's aide or something so she had no choice but to play nice, right?

Yeah, and dead pigs fly. She was acting the maggot, sure and simple. When did she become such a coward?

There was something off about the boy that was talking to Morrigan, but Chuppi wasn't astute enough to call a bluff or anything. Something inside, call it animal instinct told her that staying away from sai student would be the best choice for her all the others.

"Um...Morr....Morr...."

Chuppi had to know her name - they'd be in several classes together by this point in time! From where she sat she raised her voice up just enough that the other student and the young man could hear her. She wasn't trying to be a suck up if anyone was watching - she was trying to be helpful. Better safe than sorry, yes?

"Morrigan? Maybe you...should really leave him alone. I. . . I suppose something doesn't feel right and. . . doesn't he look too young to be a student here?"

Ah yes. The student who looked like she was barely out of primary was now talking about age. Talk about your oxymorons.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 11, 2010 6:45 pm

His response was to stick out his tongue at Chuppi in a way that was very much acting his apparent age: bug-eyed and hands against his ears and maybe he enjoyed it a little bit too much. He sat back smugly to watch the door for more students.

It was a real gathering of friends, and Calder was just as excited as G to see people he knew. People he called FRIENDS. Yes, he had friend. He could point at them. There, there, aaannnddd there. His tail swept behind him, cleaning off a nice spot behind his chair. Not only was he surrounded by people he knew, but they were all sitting together. Regardless of what they did in this class, it would be the best with the people he could sit with. He hoped they could sit like this each and every class. That would be the pumpkin's grin!

Smiling, he turned to address G, having to look up just a bit. Big fellah. "Oh, I'm good G. I took lots of dips in the river and had to spend FOREVER getting soap out of my hair and nose. I still am trying to get the rest out of my ears. I probably would be far worse if it wasn't for you." Oh, the big lug! Calder owed him so many favors for pulling him from the soapy dragon's mouth. Even now, he felt sick at the memory of all the mouthfuls of soap he swallowed. It really hadn't done any wonders on his appetite and he spent a few days after just laying at the bottom of the monster swamp and burping up bubbles.

"How are you? Having fun?" He looked around to Rain, a girl he only knew from the Moonlight Masque and who had thrown a cup at him. How did SHE know G? Then there was the guy Shehk had hanged with, who had called him 'Pony boy'. The glare that Nuk gave him was ignored, as Calder turned away and gave him the cold shoulder. Meanie. The guy clearly didn’t know how to have fun. Shehk should find better friends.

To this, he leaned in to wave at Shehk. "Hia! Did you get your shirt fixed?" He was of course asking about her torn shirt from the bathroom detention. Then, just as quickly, he saw Chuppi and waved at her, glad she was moving closer to them. "Chuppiiiiiiiii." He whispered, trying to get her attention, but she seemed preoccupied with someone. A girl and boy in the front rows. Oh rat raisins. He'd just have to wait.

One of Mai's eyes slid open to watch the newly arrived kitsune as he walked past her to sign his name on the student roster. The ghost hadn't really been sleeping, just resting and listening to the activities of the students around her. She had felt some of the demon's body heat as he moved close to her, his tail nearly brushing against her leg in his passing. She slowly straightened up to eye him better, stretching her arms over her head as she did so. The second year was actually really.. cute.

Then she couldn't help but notice a younger boy making faces at one of the students and had to smile at that. What would the little one be doing in here, she pondered... Well, this was Amityville, for all she knew that could be the instructor.. or it could also be the instructor's transmuted pet toad. Anything was possible.

In any case, they would find out eventually she was sure. More importantly though...

Mai stood up, walking through her desk rather than trying to extract herself from it properly. She moved deliberately over to the empty desk next to the demon kitsune (making sure to give a small but polite bow to the apparently out-of-place kid just in case) and sat herself in the chair with a lazy grace. She waited until she caught Remi's eye before she smiled at him and returned to her seeming-nap.

A clear line of fur down Davinica's back bristled, dragging a snort from pursed lips. To make matters worse, the ridge of lifted, dark fur really messed up her attempts to shrug it off. When were they gonna get going, already? The pen - one of the only actual utensils Davi had brought with her today - returned to her mouth, shards of bright blue plastic chipping off between her irritable fangs. One of her packmates told her that if the teacher didn't show up in fifteen minutes, class was dismissed and the students could go. Of course, Uncle Gev had promptly growled at her; but was it true? And if it was, it had to be close to fifteen minutes gone by now, right? Davi craned her head around the room, hunting for anything that might vaguely resemble a clock. 'Course, she didn't know what time she'd sauntered in in the first place.

In the midst of craning, though, the wolf girl got an eyeful of the kid in the corner and the princess - she recognized Morrigan vaguely from Lit. Seeing was happened to her now brought an appropriately wolfy grin to her lips, speaking crudely around the end of her (poor, unfortunate) pen. "Ooh, the boy's got fire," she crooned, eyes alight with teasing at the demon girl. The boy himself got a brief, polite smile - because he made her hackles stand on end all over again, and Davinica had no idea why.

Chuppi still shivered while looking at the boy, unable to shake the feeling. Part of her brain made her remember that this was forms and faces - maybe this boy was just a third year student showing off? He couldn't possibly be the teacher....right?

The chupacabra shook her head and slipped from her seat, almost going over to him, but her eyes matched those of Calder and she quickly changed her route. It took her less than a moment to be at his side, a small jump aiding the little creature, and a bright grin spread on her face as she greeted her friend in the same manner she had to her.

"Caaaaaallllllder. Good to see you. How is you?"

The memory of dentention, as triggered by Calder, prompted a look of horror on Shehk's face as she seemed to just..wilt entirely. Detention. It was a horrible, horrible, horrible thing. She never wanted to go through it ever again.

Ever.

"I.... got rid of those clothes entirely. They weren't worth saving." That and she'd ..ah..twice-the-ripped her shirt. Which, on the note of, seeing Nukpana practically prance into the room (okay, he'd attempted a badass entrance) did earn a slight leer from the Pricolici.

It was HIS FAULT her shirt was ruined. Sort of. And the..
...
...
....

Yeah, it was the closest to a 'walk of shame' as she'd ever allow for. Note to self: DUFFLE BAG. EVERYWHERE. Why didn't she have one now? AHH!! Either way, Shehk planted herself back at her desk and seemed content to not go out of her way to sit near the Skinwalker. If he was so inclined, HE could come to HER.

Suddenly also feeling the urge to plunk his head down on the desk. He gave a rather loud yawn and a small 'thunk' as his forehead placed itself on the desk. He remembered this... the professor was always fashionably late for his first class.

He was just about to actually doze off... when he felt a cold chill work its way down his spine. The hell? Did someone open the door? There was no bel- "Hoshit!" He exclaimed as his eyes met the girls, sending himself flailing a little and almost RIGHT out of his chair.(he clung on)

Wherethehell did she come from! Oh...wait... He looked her up and down, Ghost. Explained it allllll. Rather embarrassed he now regained his composure with a cough to clear his throat. "Uhm...." He looked a little CLOSER at her outfit, closer than he intended. "...Hello there!" His blue tail swished back and forth.

He wasn't late.

He was just fashionably walking in at a prime time of his liking. It was mostly Drei's fault, anyways, the rediculous cat wouldn't stop kittering and whining, just about begging to follow him to the first class. Waltzing in, cat precariously leaning on his shoulders. Jack noticed the sign in sheet to his left, full of unique signatures, all corresponding to the faces that littered the class room, his tail lightly thumping in tune with the floor. Some faces were damn familiar - the Skinwalker's presence nearly leaped out at him, a face nearly burned into his mind forever.

User Image

Well, no time like the present, he figured, and grabbed a pen, writing his name in the 21st slot, Jack caught the faint sound of a voice he was familiar with - a diamond in the rough, as he was without his instruments to break any silence between him and the others. Taking to the chair on the other side of Remi, he sat down quietly, leaning over a bit to see the lass that he had been making associations with.

"Already finding a niche here?" He murmured to Remi, smiling wildly.
