Leona nodded her head happily in approval before continuing to write some more. "That sounds wonderful. I wouldn't mind getting to meet others." She stopped her right paw from writing for a moment before looking back up at Freya then back to the ground. "As long as they don't pick on me, because of my inability to speak. I can at least read lips or write like this, but that's all."

Reading over the words Leona scribbled onto the wet ground, Freya was overcome with a sudden sadness that made her heart ache. She should never have to be afraid of her disability. And the fact that others were so cruel to berate others and tear them down broke her heart. She flicked a glance at the dark woods where one such wolf had disappeared and sighed. This world was cruel some times.
Leaning down, Freya nuzzled her nose against Leona's back and smiled. "Don't worry about the others. They will respect you I'm sure." She said confidently. She was also certain that any of the more evil wolves would keep their distance out of respect to her. "A few wolves in our group have their own disabilities and no one says a hurtful word to them. And the wolves you're going to meet... will accept you no matter if you can talk or not."
The rumbling of clouds overhead sent a shiver through the older wolf and, shaking out her fur that was beginning to feel heavy from the rain. "We should go before it gets any worse" She said softly as she started off down the path slowly. "You're going to have so much fun."
