Marie nearly shrieked when she felt a hand on her shoulder, but she didn't. Instead she looked at him wide eyes and tugged away from his grasp. "I don't want to dance!" she wailed, worried and a bit frightened of this man now. She looked back at the guard that had called out for everyone to get him. Obviously it was that hard dammit! She didn't know what he wanted to do, dance she guessed. But didn't want to dance!! She clenched her eyes shut as another bolt of pain went through her head. Her headache was getting worse and that was very bad. Usually she blacked out when one of these headaches started. She couldn't black out right now!! That was out of the question!!

Well if she wasn't going to dance, or move much, he'd just have to make her dance.
Rufus gripped her waist and held her close to his chest as he lifted her feet off the ground and twirled around the the panicking guards.
He herd a couple of cheer and a very loud "IT'S SO PRETTY!".
Yes yes, Rufus knew he was very attractive.
Just kidding he knew he was gorgeous! Well, he liked to think so anyway.
Oh no! His hat was sliding over his eyes! He needed to see dammit! Rufus threw Marie into the air (haphazardly) spun around to adjust his hat and caught the girl in a second flat.
"Sorry about that my lady."
Now in the center of the commotion Rufus realized his mistake. There were like twenty people around him, and he was carrying a girl. He was a little handicapped right now.
Rufus let go of her quickly and threw his arms out dramatically so that his hands would smack two men in the face.
This was getting tiering though, and he really didn't want to have to kill people in front of that man who liked dancing....
Hmmm...Rufus twirled through the guards, slid under one's legs and landed in the center of a newly crafted circle of human beings. Rufus stood up, the men now wary.
He stepped forward grabbed either side of his dress thing, dipped his head and curtsied.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"BRAVA!"
He ******** loved that guy with down syndrome.
"Marie, have some class, courtesy." He whispered harshly.

Marie felt herself being picked up and clung to Rufus for a moment. She did however hate being thrown into the air. It made her feel sick to her stomach, which really wasn't good considering about a weeks worth of food had been just sitting there. Marie didn't know she was supposed to cough up what she ate dammit!! He let go of her and she staggered forwards, then she found herself alone in the circle of guards. She picked up his whisper and decided to just do what the guy wanted, maybe that would keep any more incidents from happening. She took the edges of her gown in her hand and curtsied lowly like her mother had always taught her to.
She sighed and righted her position, looking at the guards, now all but two of them were now turned and moving towards Rufus again. Apparently her curtsy made he an accomplice, and she quickly found her arms grasped firmly by the two guards. Apparently the girl was an easier target than the boy. Which was true, Marie wasn't a fighter really, she was a well bred hospitable woman. She hadn't really liked it at first though... but that was a long time ago and the wildness had been trained out of her, or so they thought.

"Now now kind sirs, I shall go peacefully." He wasn't in the mood to be sedated. The group of men, and especially the nurses, didn't seem to believe him, and for good reason.
Rufus allowed himself to be grabbed, but he didn't like the speed at which that needle was approaching him.
Mmm, not gonna fly.
Rufus leaned back against the man grabbing him and made sure to very quickly catch the eyes of the other man the the syringe. The man looked still and dazed instantly look.
"Nathan what are you doing, stick him with the sedative!"
Rufus kept his eyes glued to the other's and shook his head no. The man mimicked his movements exactly.
"What is this?" Growled Rufus' captor. Deciding to take things into his own hands the man holding Rufus decided it would be a good idea to punch the vampire right in the back of the head.
Not the greatest idea....
That was where Rufus drew the mother ******** line! Who the ******** did this c**t b***h ho c**k sucker think he was?!
It hurt! It didn't hurt as much as it should have, but it still hurt a lot! Rufus growled his lip pulling up in a snarl involuntarily. Rufus broke free of the hold turned around in a second flat and punched the man in the stomach so hard a splash of crimson blood flew from his lips and splattered all over Rufus jaw and neck.
He had broken eye contact with the man with the syringe so Rufus knew to turn behind him. He saw the needle about to make contact with his neck and quickly turned his head to catch the body of the syringe and the man's finger in his mouth.
Rufus sent his upper jaw down like a guillotine, served the man's finger and crushed the glass case of the syringe.
He was not a happy ******** camper!

Marie herself had already been stuck with a needle and she slumped down, but only momentarily. What should have knocked her out had no effect actually. The guard frowned and took another syringe from his pocket. What the hell?! Did they use this s**t like candy or something?! He stuck her again and pushed the plunger down on the needle, pumping more sedative into her. Same thing as before, a brief reaction then nothing. The only thing was that now her head hurt more than ever and she was pretty sure she was going to throw up. Apparently food wasn't the only thing that didn't sit well with her body. She doubled over and retched, the two guards dropped her instantly and she finished heaving up a weeks worth of food.

Marie slumped to the floor luckily one of the staff members managed to grab her before she fell in her own vomit. Luckily they at least knew not to lay her down so she wouldn't choke on her own puke if she threw up again. Not that she could choke but they didn't know that. She was quickly dragged away from the foul smelling stuff, and the room had evacuated pretty quickly now. She groaned, clenching her head in both hands as a guard dragged her to her feet.
Odette opened her eyes to one of the most foul stenches she had ever smelled in her life, as well as the fact she was being man handled. She didn't like that one bit and she voiced that opposition quiet loudly. "Get your ******** hands off of me!" she said venomously. It was a tone that Marie couldn't have mustered if her life depended on it. Odette looked around to see a man in a hat with his hands over his face, she paid him no mind. She was more interested in what she had been doing while she was blacked out. She felt a needle jab into her and she back handed the b*****d with the needle, surely giving him a case of whiplash.

Oh how she loathed that name. It was the guy in the hat who had said it and as far as she knew, she was the only one hitting people around here. She looked at him with narrowed eyes. "I don't know who the hell Marie is, but don't call me that again." she said angrily and glared at the second guard who had been holding her. What met his eyes were not the dark pools that he had seen a little bit ago, Odette's eyes held something more of what she had been turned into, more of the stare of a predator.
The guard was backing off, they had been through too much today and another psycho patient wasn't what they needed. She stepped around the foul smelling vomit, did she do that? She wrinkled her nose, why would she be eating food? She knew that wasn't the sustenance she needed. Oh how she hated these black outs!!

Wait, hold on....what the ******** was this ho saying?
"That's no tone for a lady." He said to himself and shook his head disapprovingly. But what irked him really, was that she had just specifically told him her name was Marie like a couple of hours ago.
The doctor, thank god, seemed to know what was happening.
"Proceed with caution she'd dangerous when she's like this."
Now Rufus was confused...wait, wait, wait. This was an insane asylum. Marie, or whoever the ******** she wanted to be, was insane. Everything made perfect sense now!
Hmmm.
"If you're name is not in fact Marie, then what is it?" He asked slanting his head sideways with a mischievous look on his face.
Rufus was perhaps the biggest instigator in the world, and the doctor was on to him.
"Shut him up."
"My word, such force! Doctor you shouldn't sound so hateful in the presence of a woman."
Which was funny because Rufus had verbally abused women in his day.

The vampire narrowed her eyes at the man with the hat. It wasn't any of his business what her name was. It wasn't any of these bastards business! So, she didn't answer him, she just blatantly ignored him and looked over at the doctor. "What the hell do you mean like this!? Are you talking about not doped up on those drugs you try to give people that don't do diddly ******** squat?" she accused and looked around the room. Why was she in here anyways? She killed a bunch of people, but would that get her sent to an asylum? Maybe it was because she was a woman that she didn't get hung. It didn't matter, she was here now and the most important thought on her mind was how she was going to get something to eat.

Was she, ignoring him? Ignoring, him? If anyone deserved to be ignored it was her! she was all crazy and loud and mean!
At least Rufus was polite most of the time and only got mean when people were trying to shove needles into him!
Well she had one thing right, those sedatives really didn't work...on vampires at least.
You know what, this wasn't as entertaining as he had hoped it would be, and there was blood on his dress!
Roar roar roar!
No one was even doing anything, they were just watching her yell. He hadn't yelled once and they had ******** attacked him a s**t load of times!
He was loosing his patience. He wanted to be entertained and as interesting as this personality switch was, it wasn't getting him anywhere.
The doctor nodded and turned towards the woman Rufus identified as Marie, or lunatic woman.
"Calm down, we just need you to go back to your room." She was an interesting case and of course Doctor's loved those, that was really the only reason the staff put up with her seeing as she didn't have money backing her up.
"Things have just started to calm down," mm, that was directed at Rufus clearly, "there's no need to get riled up."
"This is terribly unfair!" And it was! "You ask the woman kindly to calm herself and return to her room but you deny me the right of common curtsy? This is erroneous!"

Odette's eyes swung to the man with the hat and she looked at him momentarily, studying him. She didn't have the slightest clue what it was but he seemed rather different, and not just because he talked like an educated man either, there was something else about him that unsettled her and put her on edge.
Odette sighed and looked at the doctor. Fine. At least her room didn't smell like vomit. She stepped around the disgusting pile and walked towards the door. She would go to her room, and tonight she would figure out how to get out of it so she could get something to eat. She was ******** starving.

Odette heard the fast paced footsteps behind her and she looked to the side when the hat man walked up to her. When he talked to her she sighed and stopped abruptly in the hallway, hands on her hips. "Look, I don't know who you are, or why you think you know me, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would leave me alone." she looked him over "I'll give it to you straight, there is something about you that unsettles me mister and I don't very much like it." no, no she did not.
