If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya frowned, and since she knew Jethrow was right behind them, she waved her hand at a nearby closet door, elongating the room and opening the door. "In," she said, walking into the now room-sized closet and releasing the box. It floated in the air by her shoulder and she crossed her arms, glaring intensely at Luke. How in the hell's mouth did he find out? [OOC:] How DID he find out?

Luke closed the door behind him. "Don't glare at me like that. The only reason I know is because I can smell it. You forget, dear girl. I am a wolf demon. I can smell things through these thin doors." he said a bit arrogantly.
[OOC:] THAT'S how...

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya rolled her eyes and shrugged. "So? You can smell him big deal. Eventually, he was going to get too big for my room and I would tell Jethrow. What're you going to do about it?" she demanded, raising an eyebrow. It was moments like these that she was glad she really was half demon; if she forgot she was half faerie she could easily tie the wolf up and leave him in the closet for a few weeks without seeming suspicious. She started tapping her foot, anxious to get back to the creature. He was always so happy to see her, and so sad when she was gone.

"Here's my deal. When he does get too big, I can hide him in my section of the garden. It is horribly overgrown and it would hide him. You can still keep him a secret for much longer and have tender moments before you tell Jethrow and he either wants you to get rid of it, or put it through hard training. All I want to do is see him."

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya raised her eyebrows. "You're offering to let me hide him, and all you want is to see him? Why? And why only see him; nothing else? Seriously, that's just too little to be serious." She grabbed the box from where it was floating and held it with both hands again. Thought she was questioning it a lot, she was still gonna let him see the creature.

"See it, maybe observe it for a while? I probably haven't seen a creature like this before." Luke said reassuringly. "So can we leave the closet now?"

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya shrugged and pushed past him, pushing the door open and heading down the hallway, assuming he was right behind her. She put her hand on the door and listened for a second before opening it and walking inside. The door would swing shut as soon as Luke was in, but she was preoccupied by the creature leaping up at her, panting excitedly. Various candle sconces lit themselves around the room, as well as the fire, and the room soon was illuminated enough that the creature was perfectly visible. It had a thick, scaly black body, like a dragon's, with large, dark blue wings like a butterfly's. There was a dark red line running diagonally across the face of the creature, obviously a scar marring the dragon-like face. But the animal was obviously neither dragon nor butterfly. There was also a cat-like quality in its eyes as it stared curiously over Anya's shoulder.

Luke stared at the creature with the same curiousity. "Fascinating little pet you have there Anya." he said, managing to squeeze inside and let the door shut. He studied the creature's appearance, quite intrigued. "Where did you find this guy?" he asked Anya.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya knelt down and opened the box of food, putting out a few slices of meat and laughing a little as the creature started devouring it all. She stood again and shrugged at Luke. "He was wandering out in the woods near the south border. That gash on his head was bleeding a lot, so I fixed him up and brought him home. He was the size of a dog, then. Now he's a small pony. I have a feeling he might reach dragon size," she said, her tone becoming slightly worried towards the end of her sentence. She really did think he might grow that big, and it was a significantly disturbing thought.

Luke nodded some. "If he is going to get that big, then his growth is a little behind. Usually when they're this size, they've hatched about two weeks ago. This guy will be about the size of a large horse. And I mean large." he said, heading to the door. "Thanks for letting me see him. He's pretty cool." he said with a caring smile.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya shrugged and laughed as the creature started sniffing Luke's foot, then walked back and sat by her as if to say that there was no threat. "He's got nowhere else to go. And thanks for not telling Jethrow," she said, kneeling back down by the creature and putting her arm around it so it wouldn't bolt out the door after Luke.

Luke headed out, closing the door behind him and headed back to his sister. Maybe she had gotten over this bad fever while he was with Anya. He hoped deeply for it. Though her got a surprise finding his delirious sister in the hall, staggering. He quickly got her back to her room and in bed. Her fever was quite worse. "Luna... You can't wander around when you're sick... You goof..." he said quietly, forming an ice block over her forehead to cool her down.

If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream. Anya made a quick ham sandwich, eating it before give some bread to the creature. Waving her hand carelessly, she conjured a bowl of water, putting it down and standing while the creature lapped it up. He needs a name, she mused, sitting on the edge of her bed and dimming a few candles. There was a stack of books on the table by her bed and she reached for the one with the ruined, worn-down cover. It was an old fairy tail book that had been passed down for several generations through her mother's family. She put it in her lap and picked up from her favorite part, listening as the creature hopped up on her bed and curled up on one side, ready to sleep. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Jethrow left his room with a small, covered bowl in his hand. Shuffling down the hall, he came to Lunora's room and knocked on the door. The herbal remedy he'd created was a general all-for-one that would reduce fever, induce vomiting to clear toxins from the system, and help the ailed person fall to sleep peacefully in an hour. It wasn't a complex potion; Anya had mastered it in a week, but unless he had specific information on what was wrong with the fox demon, it was too risky to try anything else. The most simple of potions for a human could easily poison another creature. Even Anya couldn't take most potions for illnesses; it was too risky with her hybrid state. Between the two opposites, things such as garlic, oregano, basil, and rosemary would be sure to increase the symptoms for her demonic side whereas wolfsbane would almost completely destroy her faerie's immune system.

Luke heard a knock on the door and he opened it to see Jethrow. "Evening. Please come in." he said politely, letting the old wizard in. He closed the door behind the wizard and returned to Lunora's side. She was still gravely ill from something and her fever was blazing like the fire she controlled. He looked to the bowl Jethrow had. "Is that the remedy you spoke of?"

There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing. Walking in, the old wizard conjured a table, putting the bowl down on it and walking quickly to the beside of Lunora. He felt her forehead, tilted her head from side to side and looked over at Luke. "This is no ordinary ailment, as I'm sure you know. The remedy is simple, but it should at least lower her fever and keep her in bed for the next day." Quickly, he moved to the door, looking back over at Lunora before he left. He moved quickly to his own room, entering his study and closing the secret door. He sat down, waving his hand and having books fly from the shelves at him. They were various healing books about different diseases, various remedies, and symptoms of the diseases. I must know what is wrong with that girl.
