Not sure if anyone posted something like this yet but...for the types of music...why not put up music based on one of the sins and virtues for a small set of time?
Like...just as an example:
Lust/Chastity - Romantic, Lusty music
Gluttony/Abstinence - I could probably find a couple of songs like that, sort of a glutton for power and such..
It sounded less silly in my head...to set certain genres to certain rooms...I'm sure y'can cover a lot that way..
Also...for a name..

Songs about sex=lust
Songs about purity=chastity
Songs about egotisitical people=pride
Songs about drugs and such=probably something
Songs about love=love
Songs about money and possession=greed
It'll be easier to go about content of the song than genre.

This is a great idea. I'd completely be up to DJ-ing. Only problem is a lot of my music is not....erm...PG. I really think contests will bring people to the station, even if they are small. May a treasure hunt throughout Gaia to get more people involved.

The radio station is not up yet,
we are just planning it. ^-^
I mentioned this before, but I think we should dedicate some vocaloid music too. I think it's really popular nowadays. :/

yep, we should definitely do some vocaloids, and we myte as well throw in some popular anime openings/endings/songs
just for the heck of it. I have a few tracks from a K-On cd, the first season.

I have some anime music too.
My friend gave me a mixed CD as a birthday present. ^^
So so far we have:
Ball themed music
K-Pop
Vocaloid/Anime
What else? o:

Well I'm working on a draft of the master schedule, and we'd have each guest DJ pick a theme in advance.

Just about to address that.
I'm setting up the master schedule for the first couple months. If you'd like to be a guest DJ, please PM me. I'll be PMing the people who have contacted me, but if you'd still like to, please PM me.
Also, please come up with a DJ name, a theme, and preferably a set outfit to wear each time you DJ.

A good work against stuttering would be to make up a quick script and remember it until ur comfortable.

I made a quick script on notepad just to test it out, i wanted to hear the quality and stuff
I think i'll try one more test, to make sure its good X)
and get out all the clicky noises...
