Never cared not on the whereabouts of that Grass type. Yet, he cocked his head about during his little petting to stare at the Bulbasaur toddling down the hall after him.
"Flaaareon." he yawned and returned his head to its original position. He stared up briefly at Sorano (who he was still mad at, by the way) and sighed. If he wasn't so mad, he'd be enjoying his time just dangling. If he wasn't so mad, he'd remind himself that Sorano gives great belly rubs and it would be smart to not remain mad at him for long. If he wasn't so mad, he'd consider such things. Yet, he was mad . . . so he couldn't. Just couldn't.
"Hmm, where'd ya git yer Bulba? It be a lil' stubby lookin' thing, from up 'ere an' all." Sorano said.

"Fleur?" She considered it momentarily. She had been with the Bulbasaur for so long that it had become difficult to recall a time without her. "I found her. I did not care for pokemon, but her circumstances reminded me of Mother, and so I pitied her. I shared with her a drink of water, and she followed me when I departed."
The grass type was not one to remain angry for long, and mention of her name soon found her back at her trainer's side. Aila knelt beside her and patted her head, as if in silent apology.

Never yawned, again, and made a mad grab at Sorano's attention as it drifted else. There he was once again afloat on that raging sea of memories. He had a tendency to set sail when the weather is once wonderful yet morphs to something terrible. His ship overturned when Never wiggled enough to have Sorano's grip on him feel a little jumbled. Obviously, the Flareon wished to depart. He was late for his train to dreamland and no boat on the sea of memories would be fast enough to take him there quicker.
"Ahh, ya two sure are like erm, wha's tha sayin, two peas inna pod? Er somethin' like tha'." he chuckled.
Never fidgeted again. Damn it! If they didn't hurry up . . . !
"Ah, okay . . . okay Neva, calm down!" Sorano said and held the Flareon still. "Me lil' bud 'ere wants ta be put 'own fer a nap, so's I guess I should be takin' me leave. I'll sees ya lata? Maybe we cans dance togetha 'gain, aha."

Two peas in a pod, was it? As much grief as Fleur caused her trainer, it was true enough that the two were inseparable. Her attention was redirected as Never began to wriggle about.
"I would enjoy that," she said with a faint smile. She would have to practice more seriously than she did in the past so as to better match his own skill. "I shall not keep you then." She tucked her chin down and took a step backwards, clearing the way for the pair's departure and watching as she went. She breathed a sigh when they were gone. Another point to practice more seriously was keeping her emotions under control when presented with questions on her family...
