"Yes, it would be most nice to see it with some one. I always ended up going with my self. It kind of gets lonely when there is no one to show such sites to" Amaidi pointed out with a slight pout, but it quickly grew to a smile at the prospect of further company.

"Dont be embarrassed. Everyone has weaknesses and strengths and little quirks it just makes you different from other people. Such as me, I have a really good sense of direction but I am a little oblivious towards my surroundings at times" Amaidi pointed out. "I think maybe we're made this way because when we meet our special some one its to compliment them and they with their strengths will compliment us.... but I'm a bit silly so maybe this isnt the case"

"Runaiu always said I was such a silly kit, so I can't say I'm the serious to balance your silly." Mercury chuckled as the mental image of scales popped in his head.
"I have no idea what I am now, I have met few other adults since I grew up. Runaiu and I parted ways not long ago, but we try to keep in touch when we can." Mercury picked his way carefully over the ground as he talked, trying not to trip over something as Amaidi moved slightly ahead of him.

"well grandpa says its okay to remain a bit silly when you grow up so maybe that's not something that needs to get balanced out, you have to have a few things in common too" Amaidi pondered taking a quick look in front of her towards the surroundings. She did a quick nod in her head since they where going the right way.

Mercury looked around as Amaidi did, though he had no idea where they were. His interest was mainly in the landscape. There were less trees, with bushes and rocks crowding most of the ground. Even those were thinning.

Finally the trees, brush, and tall grass faded away to a low blanket of grass growing on acidic like soil. The ground was damp under amaidi's feet and heather replaced the brush and trees like wildfire. a small gravel path cut through the heather and low lying patches of dry grass to a downward slope and finally the ocean.
Amaidi turned around and smiled at Mercury. "It seemed like the mist burned out until dusk but here it is" she told him.

"Color me impressed," Mercury said, sitting down to peer at the horizon. He'd never seen a body of water so big that the end wasn't visible. It made him feel so tiny and insignificant by comparison. He unconsciously leaned against Amaidi, needing the contact to feel like the earth wasn't going to rise and swallow him.

a cold wind accompanied the setting sweeping by the two and amaidi was glad for the sudden warmth Mercury provided as he leaned into her. She secretly studied him out of the corner of her eye and she came to the conclusion he didnt seem to be aware of what he was doing, but then again she could be wrong. "yes it is very... mmm beautiful." she said blushing and looked down at the ground.

Mercury looked over and was slightly startled to see Amaidi so close; when had they sat next to each other? He hesitated for a moment, then remained where he was. The wind coming from the water was chilly, which was a perfectly good excuse. He tried to tell himself that Amaidi being pretty had nothing to do with it, though he suspected his mind didn't buy it.
He did notice what appeared to be a slight blush, and Amaidi looking at the ground. "What's wrong? Am I too close?" After all, just cause he was (very) content with his current position didn't mean she was. She could simply be sitting there just to be polite.

Amaidi jumped a little startled that she was being talked too. She turned around to look at mercury and shook her head. "No, you're just fine... its um... well... you see.." amaidi stuttered. She really didnt know exactly how to explain it. Mercucry was very cute and she really liked him being around her. He listened and didn't dismiss her ideas like most other male foxes she had met. Well she supposed her brother wasn't a really good example of what to expect, after all her dad and grandfathers where different. Then again this was not something she was very experienced with." ah no nothing is a matter" she finally decided.

Mercury heard the pause in Amaidi's voice, but decided to let it go. He had his own set of distracting thoughts.
Amaidi was certainly very pretty. She had such an open and energetic personality and was fun to be around. He certainly didn't want this to be the last time he saw her, but how did one go about saying so?
He tried to distract himself by talking. "If the wind is this chilly, I can't imagine how the water must feel!"

"well it probably is a bit chilled but then again maybe if you look at it a different way you can think its happy. Its presence slowly erodes its constant neighbor the earth and it instantly kills fire. Wind it cant harm so maybe they are friends?" Amaidi thought out loud.
"ah apparently the mist is slowly coming back" Amaidi pointed out watching as a slow blanket started covering the land as if slowly emerging from the water.

"That's an interesting way of looking at it. Water and air are considered passive elements, so perhaps that common bond is enough." Mercury looked out at the fog Amaidi had pointed out. It was thick, and didn't so much move towards them as just spring up everywhere. If they stayed much longer then neither would be able to see where they were going to get back!
