trombone~
the senior trombone is a girl, too, but most are in flutes, clarinets or alto saxophones~
the last year we had marching band, we were out marching (practice) on a windy day. the flute players were complaining abut how it dragged at their instrument. i told them to shut up and have their instrument be something that sticks out like a trombone.
and the freshmeatman trombone...male...scared of me. MWAHAHAHA cat_twisted
how does that feel?

As of right now..we are a Class C band 41 members. WE ARE STATE BOUND AGAIN WOOOOO! our band is 35 girls and 6 guys xD
Our trombone section..4 people all girls including me. WOOOOOO!

I'm a sophomore trombone player, and even though I weigh about 125 pounds, I always push the most sound in all of my section biggrin

Baritone HYYYYYYYYPE!!
Lol there are 7 girls in the section this year out of 30. Not sure why the boys think they can push us around though.
Baritone isn't my first instrument. In fact, my first attempt at brass was me blowing air (not buzzing because I didn't know that I needed to do that to make sound) through a trombone.
Year 4 on the Barley-a-tone and I'm excited because the MRD's are doing Fire of Eternal Glory so not only are the trumpets bitching because they don't have the melody for the first time all season but there's SO MUCH LOW BRASS!! God it's beautiful.
It's one of the pieces that I played my first year... I feel so nostalgic.
