Revi's free hand hovered over her mouth and nose as she tried to hold her breath. Ducking her head into her shoulder, she tried not to gag as she whispered out obscenities to no one in particular. This wasn't a very interesting situation anymore. The game wasn't fun, the adventure wasn't exciting. Her throat was dry and she was hungry, jumpy, and feeling ridiculously hot at the moment despite her wardrobe. Everything just downright sucked at the moment, she thought to herself bitterly. On the plus side, her tail wasn't still dragging on the filthy ground...
"This place reeks, we're probably going to suffocate in here first," she hissed from her place next to Lennox. Shaking her head slightly, Revi lightly placed her hand on Lennox's shoulder in an attempt to reassure him from her crude zombie comment. She placed an ear to the door and listened quietly.
Her heart was pounding in her ears as she heard faint footsteps walk past the room and then double back. Despite being hard to hear, Revi could tell that the footsteps were actually quite loud in reality. Either the person lurking in the hallway was really confident or too stupid to try and mask the sound. She suddenly took in a sharp breath and snapped her head back.
"s**t." She pulled herself away from the door and pushed Lennox back, nearly slipping on some slimy substance on the floor. Barely managing to catch herself, she continued to back away from the door frantically with Lennox in tow.
And down came the door in what seemed to be a quick and brutal kick.
What now what now whatnowhatnow? The panicked words flashed in her mind as she absentmindedly cursed the door hinges for being so weak. She then suddenly found herself wishing that her Leader were here with them. She would never want him to be in a dangerous situation, but she was positive that he'd be able to charm his way out of a fight. She would feel much safer if he were standing here by her.
Revi suddenly blurted out in an all too sarcastic manner, "What? No knock?" It was too late to assess the situation like her Leader would have.
She really needed to work on her impulsiveness.

The fear helped overwhelm the disgust. It helped focus his mind on the thing that was more important then the smell and filth around him. Surviving of course. "We shall not suffocate." Lennox attempted to reassure Revi while clinging to her hand.
Was he holding it still in order to ensure she did not get left behind, or to comfort himself that he was not alone? It was a odd thought to flick through his head at the moment, though the strong desire to exchange Revi for Daniel followed it. If he was here he knew he would not be so terrified. It was hard keeping oneself calm when you felt like you were being pursued. Lennox watched as Revi placed her ear to the door and listened. He could hear footsteps, but he could not follow them as easily as she did.
"What?" Lennox whispered as Revi would curse. He found himself pushed back by her, and inwardly his stomach twisted as he felt something soft underfoot. He would not be returning to Daniels rooms until he found another shower to wash up in today. The answer to his question came when the door slammed down under that kick.
Lennox's tail stiffened as he looked towards the now open door. His mind had gone blank to the point he was only aware of the fierce pounding rush of his own heart. His fingers tightened on Revie's wrist, and without truly thinking, he shifted a step forwards. Lennox's lips pulled back to reveal the sharp points of his teeth as a low rumbling growl vibrated in his throat. He was scared...terrified o a point that all he could thing to do was...well...act aggressively. Put up a show...a front...

Revi swallowed and found herself grimacing at how dry her throat really was. She wouldn't be surprised if her throat were to suddenly crumble away like desert sand. She automatically followed Lennox's lead and stepped forward alongside him without even noticing. Her green eyes flickered over to Lennox briefly before focusing back to the figure standing in the door. She held back the ridiculous urge to smile as Lennox seemed to growl and bare his teeth to their pursuer. He suddenly reminded her of a dog or cat... the stray ones that would bristle up and glare at her as she stood there watching them carefully. He reminded her of the abandoned animals that would come running over to her as soon as she would pull out a chicken leg from behind her back or something of the sort. A nostalgic look passed over her face for a few seconds, but was quickly shattered by an irritated scowl.
Her eyes were still adjusting to the dim light that filtered through the door around the figure, but she found herself a little surprised at how... ordinary the person looked. From what she could see, the person was a man of average height and build with greasy hair and a leering stare. Of course, Revi knew better than to underestimate others at the Asylum, for all she knew the guy could be a spider mutant.
Any second now and some legs are gonna come bustin' outta his back as his skin melts ba - Her thoughts were interrupted as the man took a heavy step forward. She fought back the urge to retreat with every step he took. If the rainbow shoeless fairy next to her had the guts to try and look scary then she could do the same. Of course, it didn't help that the man a few feet away from them was creepy looking and clearly larger than Revi.
Who cares that he's strong and looks like a total serial killer? Who cares if he could pin me down? Who the hell cares? I... I-I...
"I don't." She suddenly found herself angry as she glared at the man and ignored how numb her hand was getting from Lennox's steel-like grip. If her Leader were here he'd grin that charming grin of his and nonchalantly wave a hand while drawling out something witty. Instead, Revi hissed loudly, "Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing barging in here like you own the damn place? ******** do you want, huh?"

It was something of a relief to see the one that had frightened them so much as just a normal looking guy. A unkempt one, but normal none-the-less. Perhaps with his strange appearance and Revi's presence to make it two against one he would decide to leave?
Yet a small niggling thought worried at him. This fellow had kicked down the door in one blow. What if he was stronger then he looked? Lennox continued to growl warningly even as the man gave that leering look. Ah...he must have been interested in Reverie. Lennox had seen only a small handful of girls here, so it was possible a female as pretty as Reverie would be a good target for some of the unpleasant people trapped here. The male took a step forwards, and Lennox became more concerned over his prior concern. That step sounded rather strong... like there may have been more weight behind it then he would normally expect?
Lennox found himself crouching slightly, His felines tail stiffened out behind him to provide a counter balance while he fought the urge to spread his wings. He did not wish to expose the thin framed wings if there was going to be a tussle. Ugh...he prayed that he did not fall in this filth. He heard Revi mutter something that made no sense to him, then she followed it with her own cursing demand. Ah..he wished he could become something that would be better equipped for a fight!
Lennox forced himself to release Revi's wrist. If the man charged...well no... it was clear he was going to attack them. If he had entered the room despite there being two of them here, it meant that he was not concerned with being ganged up upon. Lennox fisted his free hand, and darted forwards a quick pair of steps, a warning hiss escaped between his teeth as he attempted to intimidate the man that had cornered them with a show. "Go Away!"

Revi had been staring at the man pointedly the entire time, quickly going through her memories and observations. Unfortunately, she had never seen or heard him before. She quietly chewed on the inside of her cheek as she racked her brain for an escape plan. Perhaps she could put on an intimidating voice - she had heard and memorized plenty by now - and use a bit of her ventriloquism to distract the intruder. Meanwhile, her and Lennox could make a mad dash for the door. Her eyes darted up to the disturbingly blank face of the man and then over to Lennox. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to risk getting closer to the man. Then again, it was try and get out to get cornered and probably eaten alive or something equally horrific.
She quirked a slender eyebrow at the man in her own menacing manner, irked that she had gotten no response, "What?"
Her head tilted slightly to the side as she felt cool air hit her wrist where Lennox had been gripping it. She watched him out of the corner of her eye and held back a small laugh. Had they been in a slightly more carefree and fun situation (were there ever "fun" moments in the Asylum?), she would have teased him for the little show. She inappropriately made a small mental note to share some of her candy with Lennox later if they made it out alive.
Snapping back to reality, she took a step forward making sure that her stiletto heel clicked sharply. Without even thinking, she crossed her arms over her chest, gripping that scrap of scarf she had found earlier. She silently prayed that this would be a battle of intimidation and that they would win. If they were to get into a fight... well, she would be able to protect herself if the intruder really was just an ordinary man, but if he wasn't -
Revi's ear feathers perked up slightly as she heard the small squeak of a shoe. She barely managed to step out of the way as the man suddenly lunged forward, hand balled into a fist.
God. Dammit. Pay attention, Reverie. She felt his shoulder brush past her as she uncrossed her arms and jumped back into a defensive position, her eyes focused on the man, nearly forgetting that Lennox was even there. Just our luck.

Their hunter was clearly not concerned with the show that Lennox attempted to make. He was not going to be intimidated away. They were going to have to fight. Lennox cursed himself bitterly for having brought Revi down to this level. He should have just given up. No amount of scavenged goods was worth getting hurt over. Damnation! Lennox felt a budding of frustration inside. He had just gotten pulled out of one bad situation, and now...now he was only proving how ineffective he was in this place. How could he possibly be any less of a burden if he could not manage to protect himself? He was not content to forever be a victim!
Perhaps if they lured him into the room further they could dart around him. Revi was clearly going to be the quicker of the two of them, and if he remembered to keep his tail close to him he would not get grabbed. Yes...then they needed just get up the stairs to the next level... He at least had sharp teeth to take a bite out of this fellow. What did Revi have? Feathers and a ability to jump acrobatically? Lennox did not realize the danger her heels presented, of course, he was not thinking very clearly due to fear clouding his mind.
Revi's sense of hearing was far better then Len's own. He did not recognize the squeak of the shoe as a warning to what their attacker intended. When he made his move, Lennox's tail snapped up in alarm. He saw the fist, and inwardly flinched as he drew his arms up for a intended block. But the blow was not aimed at him.
Lennox actually stood and blinked in stupid surprise as the man took a swing at Revi rather then him. Wouldn't it make sense to knock him down first? So then he could corner and subdue Revi? Wasn't it the typical strategy to remove the one you weren't interested in quickly, so you could take your time catching the one you did want without any distractions? So why was Revi the one that was attacked? Why was he ignored?
Aw....
Lennox felt a sick sense of shame flood his black cheeks with heat.
He really, really hoped that he had not misjudged who was what target for this cretin. Feeling a unsettled anger in the pit of his stomach, Lennox glanced towards Revi. Maybe... maybe he just wanted to make sure Revi didn't run away while he tried to kill him..yeah...
In his attempt to strike her, the man had moved between them. He had come closer, and in the split second it took Lennox to question why he had not been attacked, he decided to act himself. Lennox took a step to one side, then jumped at the man in a physical pounce. Perhaps if he got a hold of him...perhaps if he grappled him and bit him...perhaps Revi could get around and away?

Revi let out a screeching hiss - a warning cry - as she shuffled around the man quickly. Catching sight of Lennox she attempted to get closer to him, getting separated would be bad in a situation like this. Then again, maybe they could take on the man from both sides, it wouldn't exactly be fair, but... Survival of the fittest. Do whatever you gotta to live, right, she hopped backwards quickly as she barely managed to avoid getting backhanded. After missing his punch, the man had swung his large hand backwards in a second attempt to hit the performer and after that failed, she had felt his fingers brush past her ponytail. The corner of her lip twitched upwards into a tiny smirk. It didn't seem like their attacker had much experience with... well, attacking. It almost looked like he was just flailing about, hoping to land a powerful hit or to grab her by her hair. So he was going to play dirty. Of course, now was not the time to mock or possibly under estimate the man.
Revi continued to step backwards, her quickly eyes scanned around the room, looking for something they could use to their advantage. Some glass or maybe a broken chair would have been nice, but it seemed like the only thing in the room was a horrible stench and some foul sludge on the walls and ground.
She balled her hands into tight fists and ground the heels on her boots into the ground once she had stopped moving. A dark made its way onto her face as anger consumed her thoughts. How dare this filthy man interrupt their pillaging, how dare he corner them in this disgusting room, how dare he take a swing at her. Her eyes flashed dangerously as she stared at Lennox. Why was he standing there so uselessly staring back at her?
"Hey! Get yer inta gear - " Her mouth dropped into a shocked gape as she watched Lennox jump the man. So her adventure buddy wasn't as slow as she had originally thought.
Caught off guard by Lennox, the man let out a small grunt of surprise as he fell backwards. Had the idiot completely forgotten about the other person in the room? What kind of attacker forgot about half of his prey?
Her eyes locked onto Lennox's bright hair as she bit her lip in frustration. "What the hell do ya think you're doin'?" She shouted in an aggravated manner, completely lost and confused at the moment. What now? Should she run over to Lennox and pull him off of the man in case he tried to kick Lennox off of him? Should she run over and give the man a good hard kick in the head while he was down? Maybe grind her heel into his temple a little and cheer with Lennox as they danced victoriously over their former attacker's limp body?
Her right hand went up to grab the side of her head, her fingers twisting into her soft brown hair. She was only confusing herself now. She would have liked to have thought that she was sly and witty person, a quick thinker that knew how to improvise.
And she was.
...when she was under the scrutiny of her troupe mates, her Leader, and the roaring audience. But not now, not in a real life situation, not in battle. She wasn't a quick-thinking fighter who could outsmart her enemies as she beat them into a bloody pulp. No, her Leader was the clever offense. She had always been the sneaky defense. The runner.
And so she stood there, completely dumbfounded. She watched Lennox with teary eyes (she would later tell him that it was just the smell) as shame twisted at her stomach. It had been awhile since the last time she had felt this useless.

He had not expected him to go down!! A part of Lennox cringed as the man fell to the floor, and took him down as well. Oh! Ugh! He wanted to vomit! The urge came, not just from the fact his body was now in contact with the foul floor, but from the taste filling his mouth.
Skin, meat, blood...he could feel it sticking between his teeth and flowing into his mouth. Lennox did not release his clamped bite immediatly. Instead he shook his head back and forth, tearing the bite wider open to inflict more damage as he dug his finers into the mans body.
What was Revi doing? He could sort of see her out of the corner of his eye. Lifting his head, he spat some of the blood out, and recoiled within as his tongue ran over the backs of his teeth to feel wedges of stringy skin still trapped. "Revi run!" He hissed at her, his tail snapping anxiously back and forth as he turned his attention back to the man. His teeth were all he had...this man clearly had strength. In his flailing to get Lennox off him, Len found a very powerful grip in his hair. His head was jerked at a painful angle, and he swore he heard a few bones popping. With a pained hiss, he lashed out again. This time though he bit into the arm holding his hair. He heard the man's pained cry, and closed his eyes as he bit down even harder.

Revi continued to watch the two men with wide eyes as she stood there like a useless rock. She couldn't help but think about how Lennox looked like some kind of rabid animal as he bit their attacker, all that was missing was some foam and monstrous growling. She wasn't exactly horrified or disgusted at the display, but she was certainly feeling nervous and disturbed. How could Lennox have gone from 'you shouldn't shout in the hallways because you'll attract negative attention' to some kind of flesh-tearing fairy?
She recoiled slightly as she watched the blood dribble from the man's wound onto the floor, mixing together with sludge. Revi held back a gag and snapped at Lennox's demand, "What? Like hell I'll run! Now's not the time to be chivalrous, you dumbass!" She hadn't meant for the insult to slip out, but she didn't even bother taking it back or apologizing as she bristled up, her tail feathers flaring out angrily. She knew that he was being courageous and only looking out for her, but she couldn't help but take offense to the words that he had said to her. What did he think she was? Some weak little girl that needed to be protected? A coward that would leave a comrade behind? She wasn't one. She wasn't!
"I'm not - ! I can - I can take care of myself, too! I..." Revi shook her head violently as she took a deep breath of the toxic air in an attempt to calm herself. Now wasn't the time to get in some petty argument. She knew that Lennox hadn't been aware of how venomous his words had been to her.
Revi clenched her jaw and dashed forward at top speed. She was being weak and pathetic and how it disgusted her now. She was on her own now in the Asylum, she needed to fend for herself and the few others she even dared to consider friends. She had to be strong now because her Leader wouldn't be there to bail her out.
Her Leader wouldn't be there to put out the flames.
He wasn't with her anymore and it pained her to think about it, but she was forced to pushed the image of that smirking face of his to the back of her mind as she attempted to pry the man's fingers out of Lennox's multi-colored hair. He was definitely much stronger than he looked and his grip on Lennox was like steel. Letting out a small cry of desperation, she circled around to the other side of the two and gave the man a swift kick to the stomach just as he was about to punch Lennox in the face with his free hand. In retaliation, the man quickly swung the arm outwards and elbowed Revi roughly. She stumbled backwards and clutched at her ribs. Holding back a cry of pain, she let out a sharp hiss and charged forward again, afraid that Lennox would get punched, kicked, or even violently thrown into a wall.
She had dropped the old scarf in the floor's filth after being hit and after spotting the scrap of dirtied cloth, Revi found herself smirking wildly as she picked it up. Dashing forward, she violently kicked Lennox to the side with the bottom of her boot. Despite her not-so-graceful (or gentle for that matter) attack, she had made sure not to poke a hole into Lennox with her stiletto heel. As the man's mouth dropped open in slight surprise at seeing the woman attack her comrade, Revi took the chance to shove the filthy scarf deep into the man's mouth. She grimaced as she quickly pulled back her arm, feeling the man's teeth scrape across the top of her hand.
She found herself almost comically praying that the man didn't have rabies or something of the sort.

Why wasn't she running? The attacker was down, she could get past him easily with how fast she seemed. Inwardly Lennox made a small cry of dismay when all she seemed to do was stand, as he had done not too long ago. He wanted to focus more on Revi, in the hopes that perhaps she could be motivated to run. But the man holding his hair wasn't going to just lay there and let Lennox have a small breather. His grip in his hair made him feel like his scalp was about to be torn off rather. Lennox's tail thrashed from side to side and he twisted his head about to try and ease the strain on the colorful strands. At this point he had heard her reply, and he felt a growing sense of helpless frustration.
He did not want to fight. He did not want to take down this man. He wanted to run. He wanted to escape and lose this threat in the halls. He wanted to hide and retch over the fact that, instead of being sickened by the taste of blood and flesh in his mouth, he seemed more then content with it's presence. Lennox spat a bit more of the blood from his lips as his head was twisted in such a way that he could no longer keep his hold on the man's arm. Lennox released his grip on the man, and found himself being dragged upwards by his hair as their attacker started to rise.
"I wasn't suggesting that!" He hissed while doing his best to avoid swallowing the blood in his mouth. He could feel Revi's fingers near his head, and when he reached up to pull at the attackers fingers he could feel her own attempting to do the same as he was. Lennox did not see the punch coming that Revi managed to deter with her first kick. He did however. see the swift jerk of the man's arm that nailed Revi in the ribs. Lennox felt himself being lifted up by his hair, and despite his attempts to keep them folded behind him, Lennoxs wings snapped open. The brightly colored things shook in the same manner a lizard may have shaken his frill at a threat. Not that Lennox thought the sudden appearance of brightly colored wings would have made the man balk.
The weight on his hair lessened, immediately after Revi seemed to have missed a kick towards their attackers torso. That had to have been it. It had to have been a missed kick, he could not imagine her kicking him because of his command for her to run after all. Lennox jerked his head, as the man made a gagged sound that sounded...well...really unpleasant. With his head still burning and stinging, Lennox glanced up, only long enough to see the bug eyed look of disgust on the man's face. He lifted a hand, and shooed it towards the door while wrapping a arm around his aching hip where he had been kicked. He was not going to linger. There was a chance and...well if Revi would not lead, then maybe she would follow. Lennox loped to the door, and staggered towards the stairwell. He just needed a moment to work past the pain in his side. It really wasn't that bad...He was certain it could have been worse. But all the same for a man who was not used to even schoolyard fights, it hurt!

Revi jumped back quietly and turned to watch Lennox head towards the door rather awkwardly. Why was he running off now? They had the advantage on the man now! He was just standing there, gagging on that foul rag and Lennox was fleeing? It was probably just her temper messing with her reasoning, but Revi wanted to beat the greasy man down. She wanted to see him suffer and bleed for interrupting their adventure, for cornering them like wild animals, for pulling on Lennox's hair, for hitting her, for everything!
Sucking in a sharp breath, she balled her hand into a tight fist and stood her ground for a few seconds, glaring daggers into Lennox's retreating back. Her turned to the right sharply as she noticed the man trying to pull the scarf from his mouth.
.....Fine. Fine, whatever. Whatever! She stealthily circled around the man and gave him a good hard jab with the heel of her boot right where his leg bent. An unfamiliar and twisted sense of satisfaction flooded over Revi as she watched the man buckle and fall over with a hard thud. That'll teach 'im.
She quickly ran out of the room after Lennox, not wanting to get left behind. Slowing to match his pace, she trailed behind the colorful man, her heels clicking softly in a depressed manner. Her eyes narrowed at the sight of Lennox holding onto his hip in a similar fashion to her holding her ribs. Had her kick hurt him that much? She had only wanted to move him out of the way and to catch their attacker off guard. Revi certainly hadn't thought that Lennox would be that... soft? She pursed her lips slightly and sped up to fall into place beside Lennox. She silently climbed up the stairs and found herself slightly winded. Was she really that out of shape after only a few weeks of living in the Asylum? ...Or had she been unconsciously been breathing heavily during the entire confrontation?
After a long silence, Revi clasped her hands behind her back and leaned forward in her usual fashion, she peered up at Lennox and spoke softly, "I'm sorry."

Lennox only glanced back once, and that was to assure himself that Revi was following him. After that, his mind focused blankly on placing as much distance between himself and the attacker. The longer he ran, the more the pain eased up in his ribs. Just as he had though, the kick had done nothing more then bruised him. His tail snapped from side to side when he turned a corner and paused to catch his breath. Lennox placed his hand on his scalp and gently stroked the still painfully stinging skin.
Seeing Revi lean forwards and apologizing to him caused his eyes to lift up towards her face. He moved his hand to wipe the traces of blood from his chin as he smiled briefly at her. "No. It is alright." He brushed her apology away with a small shake of his head. "You were very brave and fought well. I am sorry, but I just...I am not much of a fighter myself. I just wanted to run away the whole time. I was just afraid to leave you behind. I'm...a coward, but I'm not the sort of coward who abandons people." Lennox paused and glanced around the corner in a worried paranoia that the man was going to come lumbering down the hall at them any second. As he did so, he reached up into his mouth and picked between his teeth to remove some of the torn skin. Grimacing, he flicked the bits away.
"You lost your scarf. I am sorry about that. I'll find you something nice to replace it later, okay?"

Revi's shoulders slumped forward slightly as she watched Lennox's actions carefully. She shook her head slowly and shrugged lamely, "Right. You're a coward, huh?" she arched an eyebrow and gave him a half smirk, "Says the vicious guy who took a chunk outta the creeper's arm. You know, remind me to never get on your super bad side, yeah?" She reached up and tapped on the corner of her lip casually, signaling to Lennox that he still had a smudge of blood on his.
She was silent for a few minutes as she reflected on what had just happened. Her green eyes tiredly focused on the long winding hallway before them for a bit before trailing downwards to the fluff of tail still wrapped around her waist. It was a good thing she had decided to to wrap up her tail. If the fake thing had been trailing around behind her, she might have gotten grabbed by it. The thing would either get her caught by an attacker or it would detach itself from her shorts, possibly ripping out a few tail feathers in the process. She grimaced at the very idea and shook her head to clear away the thoughts.
Revi's usual graceful swagger was gone as she seemed to almost drag her feet along. She was dirty and tired and how she longed for a hot bath! Letting out a disappointed sigh, she reached over and began to absentmindedly stroke Lennox's shoulder softly as if she were trying to calm some stray animal.
"We should find somewhere to hide out, jus' in case the creeper comes back with a vengeance, ya know?" Her head tilted to the side as she watched Lennox with an oddly amused expression as he pick the bits of flesh from his sharp teeth,"Heh, hey now. What if he comes back and wants those little bits back? Maybe you should keep 'em in a small baggie. 'Oh, hey. Remember me? I tried ta kill you las' week and you took a bite outta me, so I was wonderin' if you still had the pieces of my skin! Gotta fill in the giant hole, ya know?'" Revi waggled her eyebrows at Lennox and chuckled softly before realizing that the man had never said a word to them. She had no idea what he sounded like and it seemed to worry her a bit. Oh well, if she ever ran into him again she just wouldn't be able to confuse him with her mimicry. Whatever, she had other tricks up her sleeve anyways.
"Ah, hey. No worries, yeah? It was just an old scrap a' cloth anyways, served it's purpose. S'all good. Besides, my dear, I still have that spoon I picked up. Maybe I could try diggin' us outta here, yeah? Jus' like a movie, uh huh." Despite the fact that her usual joking tone was sounding a bit tired and that her words were beginning to slur, she still gave him that typically bright grin of her's.

Lennox lifted a finger to the mirrored place to where Revi tapped herself. He felt something wet under his fingers and he wiped it away. Looking down, he felt a sense of shame following Reveri's teasing words. "Please...don't think that's what I'm really like." He spoke as he rubbed his thumb over the blood smear on his fingers. Gods...he could still taste the blood in his mouth. It made him want to run his tongue over his teeth and swallow. The thoughtful silence that followed was shared by the pair of them. Lennox's own thoughts were turned to other more dismal thoughts. He knew he was not that sort of person. He knew who he was, despite everything that had happened in the past year he was still certain he had not changed. Not in so drastic a way.
Yet all the same, how well did he really know himself? Look at him! He had blood on his chin. His skin was black. His hair was a gay pride banner and he had a tail! Lennox's head lifted a little as Revi began to stroke his shoulder. He couldn't stop the small smile that struggled to take over his lips. "Well. We could use this time to check out the rooms I suppose." He agreed with the suggestion they find a place to lay low. Personally he wanted to just go back to Daniels room. However, where would that leave Revi? He did not want to leave her in a bad position..well..bad..worse then what they already were in he guessed. "Maybe we can find a room with a working lock. Or at least one that can be replaced or fixed." He offered. "Or a working bathroom at least. I want to wash off."
Revi's jest about the flicks of flesh brought a sour expression to his face. His opal eyes flickered over to her and he fought to smooth his expression as he commented. "You sound tired Revi. I think it makes more sense to find you someplace safer to sleep. Come on. You look in the rooms on your side and I'll look in the ones on mine. This area seems picked clean enough that we won't have to worry too much...but if we find a mouse I call dibs." He murmured in a attempt to keep the slight sense of humor up between them.

Revi let out a small laugh and shook her head, "Uh huh. No worries, not like I'm gonna have nightmares or anythin' 'cause of what you did. If anything... it was pretty, uhhh..." she struggled for a few seconds to find an appropriate word, "cool. Yeah. No. Nooo. Not cool like, that was snazzy, but cool like... cool." She pursed her lips in a frustrated manner before quickly giving Lennox a playful thumbs up to hopefully distract him from her poor word choice.
"Hmmm..." She withdrew her hand from his shoulder and gave him a long and dramatic sigh before shrugging at his suggestion. "Well, okay then." She quickly glided over to the other side of the hallway. Wiggling her eyebrows at Lennox, Revi snickered softly, "Aw, that's not fair! No nose goes or anything? Mice are totally my favorite. I guess I'll just have to nibble on some dust bunnies!" She snapped her fingers in a mock-disappointed manner and laughed softly before turning back to wiggle the doorknobs and peek into the many rooms.
Gross. Trashed. Empty. Smelly. Occupi - Oh. Oh god.
Revi closed the door with a loud click and glanced over at Lennox in a weird fashion as she shrugged, "Yah. I want a bath sooo badly right now. If it weren't for that damned man... we'd still be pretty and clean~ And we could be looting around and finding who knows what by now! I hope we didn't miss out on some awesome treasure or something. Damn that man. If it weren't for him, I'd still have the scarf and you wouldn't be covered in blood and the both of us wouldn't have bruises and... Tch, maybe if I had heard him coming sooner we'd - Tch. ********!"
She held back the strong urge to kick the wall and decided to stop herself from continuing to rant angrily. She figured that if she had continued to go on, she'd turn into a raging mess and Lennox's ears would probably fall off from all of her yelling and cursing. No, that wouldn't be good. Lennox would look so strange without ears. Revi turned her head and gave Lennox an intense stare.
"Yep, you'd look like a total weirdo. Then again, you have all that hair to cover up the nubs..."
