Robin and Wolfram blinked but followed the young woman to the cashier quietly, "Dunno if they could find their way through a wet paper back muchless out of the park," Robin scoffed but still he wasn't going to complain. After a moment the blonde shrugged, "Sure. Doubt she'll be too pissed anyways. She's just a ... Mom I guess?"
Wolfram laughed and nodded, "She is a mother. A fine one, that woman. Patience of a saint," he said happily and then after everything was paid for the boys kept following Evari out of the store. They really had nothing to add or protest about though Wolfram was rubbing his chin, "When I first met you, Friend, you didn't seem the type to care so much for our welfare...Not meaning disrespect or anything, just an observation."
Indeed the marionette was quite respectful about how he put his words.

"Even still, I don't want to risk it. Once you guys're in the Blue Moose I'll feel better leaving you." She argued...gently? How the hell does one argue gently? Evari didn't know but she seemed to be doing it! Huh. That really threw her off. She gave a nod at Robin's questioned theory about how Luis would handle them coming home late, swinging the bag very carefully as she walked out the store and along the sidewalk toward the Blue Moose with the boys. Yeah, she couldn't see Luis getting angry. She couldn't see her as anything but the kind woman who had helped her, really. She smiled. "Moms worry, but they tend to be very understanding." If even her...mom...could handle her then any mom could, right?
Evari chuckled. "Yeah, your mom's pretty awesome. You three're really lucky to have her. Don't take her for granted or anything, alright?" She hoped she didn't have to say it, but she just felt the urge to anyway. What was wrong with her all of a sudden? This wasn't usual Evari behavior! She...she was acting so strangely! And apparently even little Wolfram could tell. Evari blinked, clicking her tongue and giving a little 'huh' at the observation. She wasn't upset by it, he was exactly right! And somehow she had a feeling this boy didn't have a truly disrespectable bone in his body. She could be wrong? But she just didn't see it at this moment in time.
"You're my best friend's brothers...plus, guys are scum and rather stupid. I'm more than happy to make fools out of the especially dumb ones." Evari explained away, looking almost unconvinced as she did. She was confused about her own behavior...again...this wasn't good. It didn't seem 'Oh my god I need help please!' worthy but she really wasn't sure how to feel about all this. "Plus you're--" Evari abruptly stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes trained on something in a shop window they were walking by. Her glow flared at the sight of it, at the multicolored striped scarf wrapped around a mannequin in the window. It...it reminded her of the colors in Faris' hair, and it reminded her of herself. She turned and pressed her hands to the glass like a small child, looking up at the mannequin with wide eyes and a huge smile. She even made a tiny sound of awe. It was so pretty! It was perfect for her Faris, her pretty little Faris.
She had to get it. "Wait here, I'll be right back." Evari told them without taking her eyes off the scarf, practically running inside. She returned a few minutes later with a new box in her hands to join the bag of things she had bought at the electronics store, the proudest smile on her face and her skin glowing brighter than ever. If she had a tail it'd be wagging. "Sorry about that I just...this is the last thing, I promise."

"Alright," Robin replied with a shrug. Again he wasn't going to talk her out of it and even if he tried he felt it wouldn't make a difference in the long run so he just let it go. Plus it amused him to see her be so...Sisterly toward them though she barely knew them at first it seemed as if she was going to just run off and leave them to their fate and now here she was taking care to protect them from possible revenge from the idiots that caused the whole mess. Robin tossed the ball a bit in his hands; he hadn't let it go since it came into his possession.
Wolfram nodded and so did Robin. They were pretty damn lucky to have their mother for the most part. She might get in the way of a lot of fun but damn can that woman cook! As boys they had certain different priorities and it was centered on food at least at this age.
The marionette tilted his head as he listened to her reasoning and tilted his head more when she suddenly cut off and then...
The boys looked at each other and they waited with a small shrug, they stood near the entrance just in case they needed to duck inside. They weren't cowards by any means but they weren't scrappy either. They knew better than to stand up and fight against those bigger and stronger than them. When Evari returned Robin chuckled a bit, "Okay, Glo-brite," and then resumed walking toward home.

Glo-brite? That was a new one! Evari laughed. "Okay, Rapunzel." She teased Robin affectiona--NO it was not affection. It was teasing. Just. Plain. Teasing. There was no affection in her tone. None. None at all. Not. A. Bit. She continued to chatter with the boys as they walked, clearly in very, very high spirits now that she had all her presents for Faris picked out. Had she gone overboard? Maybe a little, but she really wanted to spoil her. She loved Faris dearly, she couldn't pick just one thing for her.
It wasn't long before they arrived at the tavern and Evari let the boys in first, following them and looking around. Sure, she could just leave but...maybe she'd see Faris? And she could apologize to Luis for keeping her sons out so late; it really was her fault, after all! "Luuuuiiiis~. I found your braaaaats." She called out playfully, hoping she'd be heard by the satyress over the buzz of the tavern patrons. It must've been cool running a place like this!

Robin rolled his eyes but smirked. For now he'd let her get away with that, next time though? She'll pay somehow or not he hadn't really decided yet. The fact remained that both of the boys actually liked the girl for whatever reason they may have had so they just walked home with her and chattered.
Once safely home and inside they greeted their mother and ran upstairs to get cleaned up so they could help with dinner and possibly torture Critter a bit now and again since the creature seemed to be rather jumpy as of late.
Luis looked up and grinned at the boys and waved them off before turning her attention, "Ahh, thank ye lass. I knew I lost 'em somewhere. Y'missed Faris by a good hour or so, she's gone for her lessons. Want me to tell her ya came up?"

Once they were inside Evari watched them flee, shrugging to herself and turning to Luis. She was fine with them leaving like that, they didn't need to hug her and shower her with praise and affection. Not them, anyway. That'd be...weird. She grinned and nodded to the satyress. "No problem. Some douchebags at the park picked on 'em, apparently." She shrugged, not giving the details for now. She didn't need to. Evari actually was about to ask about Faris when Luis answered her unasked question, her face falling from pride and excitement to disappointment. Damn, really? That meant she wouldn't be here for awhile then. She frowned a little. "Oh, okay. Hm? Oh, sure if you want." She looked down at the things she had bought. Should she give them to Luis to pass on to Faris? Maybe just one?
Hm...no. Evari wanted to see the look on Faris' face when given each and every surprise. She hugged the bag and box against her chest. "I'll be back to bug 'er is all and shower her with my love and attention...oh, and presents too, I guess~." Evari giggled. "Tell her I said hi and she can call me? I should head home." Head home and put these presents away definitely. She did her best to offer the woman a goodbye hug with her arms as full as they were.

"Mmmm bullies, eh? Well then, I'll ask the boys to enlighten me if they want. Thank ye for lookin' out for 'em. Yer a good girl," Luis praised honestly and then when it came time to hug and say good bye the Satyress returned the hug happily, "I'll tell 'er that and more." She promised with a small chuckle and then paused as Wolfram suddenly came clambering down the stairs as if he was in a sudden hurry.
"'Ey now, boy, the Hounds of Hell chasin' ya again? What ya do wrong now?" Luis said with a bit of an exasperated tone but amused.
Wolfram stared at his mother and smiled again, "Speaking in tongues again, Mother~," he chimed as he trotted over to Evari. Without so much asking for it he reached and took one of the girl's hand and pressed a necklace into it. He reached up and waved and suddenly he was running back again. There was a slight anxious tremor in his hands when he handed off the gift. Obviously it was hard to give up his treasures.
"Wonders never cease," Luis chuckled, "walk home safe, Evari."

Evari seemed to glow with pride when praised for being a good girl, smiling and nodding her head. "Thanks, Luuuu~." She giggled, feeling honestly appreciative. She was a good girl. She was. She wasn't a complete mess...she wasn't ruining her own life with her own choices. She wasn't. Evari felt a pang of guilt in her chest the more she thought about it, her smile faltering just slightly while her face was hidden because of the hug with Luis. Thankfully Wolfram was running back to them and that gave her a reason to stop smiling to instead look curious, adjusting her things so she could hold them more comfortably as she watched him. The hell? Did he piss off Robin and was running from him or something? Or...or did that little s**t take something from her?! Evari resisted the urge to give herself a quick patdown to make sure she had everything she left home with, but then suddenly her hand was being grabbed and something was being put into it. Huh? What was that? Were his hands shaking? That was weird. But Evari didn't have time to ask him what was up for he ran away again, so all she could do was lift her hand to see what he'd just put in it.
A necklace? Hey it...it was kinda cute! Evari looked genuinely surprised by it, looking from the necklace to the stairs and then back again. That was really nice of him...no boy had ever given her a present before, in fact the only person who ever had was Faris. She wore a gentle smile as she looked to Luis and nodded in agreement, putting the necklace in her jacket pocket for now since she didn't have enough hands to put it on just yet. "I will, thanks. Tell the boys bye for me~. And tell your little Pinocchio thanks for me? He ran off too fast." Evari chuckled and waved to the woman before she made her way out of the tavern, disappearing outside again and heading straight home. She looked down at the presents in her arms and her heart fluttered with excitement; she couldn't wait to see Faris!
