Jallai gave a small growl when he pushed her away and walked forward again and faced him, glaring at him. "I refuse to die. Not by this thing or by you, because I have something to protect."
With that she charged at the beast in a gracefully lyrical manner and spun the massive axe quickly as she ran by the beast. She wasn't just using that thing for show. She could fight and had half a mind to fight Nicolai when she first met him...because she really hadn't wanted to return to this world.
And now? He was gone. And she was going to return to Earth at this rate...however, once she finished her little barrage, Jallai was behind the creature with a sort of empty look on her face that just didn't suit her. "You are one of us, Miashiu...as you said, you are the Terminal Phoenix...the Phoenix of Death."

The beast blindly stumbled around it could sence it's prey but could not catch it. It felt the punctures of it's skin and felt the essence of it's being slowley draining out from the wounds along with it's blood. It snarled as it realized these beings were strong and not weak like it's usuals. It uncurled it's tail dropping the sleeping child on the ground, it rose up to it's full height and let another shriek escape from it's lips. It felt a heavy blow and turned to the direction it came from, it paused for a moment confused but ignored it's feelings and attacked Jallai leading with it's mouth. Outstreaching it's arms it blocked and side escapes, swooping in and digging to the front of it. The poison it's body produced seeped out and what was left over mixed with the beast's already draining blood.

Jallai at the moment the beast sprung, practically threw her free arm in an upward motion, another solid rock barrier (like the one she had produced against Rhaze) covering her being like an igloo. This isn't good... she thought, not knowing how the earth would hold up to the poison.
Probably not well, when she gave it some thought.

The monster roared seeing as how something was blocking it's way. It bashed it's large shape into the barrier between him and his prey. The beast knew it wouldn't hold it could feel the barrier already crumbling from it's poison.
From where she lay Spooky's eyes flickered from under their lids. What's all that noise? she thought sleepily at the bottom of her dream abis. It certainly is annoying...

Miashiu paused for a moment, head cocked to one side, and reflected. The beast had not been significantly harmed by his weapons. Jallai was safe from it, if only for a moment. It seemed ravenous, vicious- but it had not slain the victim it already had in its grasp.
Perhaps, then...
Miashiu darted into motion, running straight at the creature and then dodging aside, longfang streaking out to just barely graze the sleeping figure where she lay, then spinning again to face the beast, a challenge to its territory if nothing else...

At that moment, a loud, horrible screech came from within the igloo, it crumbling underneath the beast's weight suddenly. And, moments later, coming from behind both Miashiu and the creature, was a beat up looking Jallai, covered in dirt and the like, panting in a ragged pattern.
What she had done was costly, and, if she was left to her own devices against Miashiu...she wouldn't last very long at all with the stunt she had just pulled. "I'm over here, little beastie!"

The beast screeched in pain as the sleeping girl was cut by Miashiu. A red streak had engraved itself upon the beasts face as Spooky had been harmed, blood spattered out from the wound. The monster ran at him blindly full speed it's tail brushing rubble and dust as it moved. It no longer mattered who it attacked as long as it did.
The girls face twisted in pain as the cold metal touched her and she was slowley stirring. Her dream abis had popped like a large bubble and vanished, she desperatly fought to try and return to it.

Miashiu looked down at the girl, coolly, and then up at the beast again. If he stabbed her, the beast might take time to die. He sheathed his longfang, ignoring the creature barrelling towards him, reached out, and with one delicate, pale hand, slapped the sleeping girl across the face.

The beast roared in pain once again and fell over sideways it scrambled to get up but its build was not ment to fall. It's hooves tried digging into the ground sideways but that tactic failed, it was pitiful to see the great monster rolling on the ground. The beast finally came to and used its arms balancing on part of it's tail the creature resurfaced, as it did parts of it started to vanish into a black disfigurement of the sky.
Spooky snapped out of her dream world as a cold hand stuck her, she opened her eyes lazily and pushed herself up so she was sitting on her knees. She pushed the silver hair out of her face and rubbed her eyes sleepily.

Jallai shuddered at the beast, backing away from it and against the wall, shutting her eyes tightly as she tried to get it out of her head. "Nicolai...you stink," she whimpered, letting out a noise that sounded like a dog's whine.
Opening her eyes before the slap made any noise, Jallai gave another whimper, this one for a much different reason.

Miashiu looked down at the girl contemplatively, then turned and walked away from her, tracing a curve that lead him over to stand before Jallai. Every motion was cold, considered, like a shark in the water. He stopped, five paces away, weapons still sheathed, and met her eyes.

"Miashiu..." she whispered, holding out her hand. "Please...come with me..." It was asking a lot, from going to killing phoenixes to becoming one...but, then again, she really didn't want to die. ...and she had only just realized what she had gotten herself into. Something that would most likely kill her if she wasn't careful. Or, just kill her for that matter.
Even if she was careful.

He bent his head to the side, something like curiosity condensing on his features.
"You would be interesting to converse with," he said, tone still flat. "But I think it best if that time is delayed. Go back to the others. Tell them that I am come, and that I will be the death of all. It is only right that they know. In the meantime, I shall go about my work elsewhere."

Jallai only nodded. She didn't really understand what it all meant, but she would deliver the message nonetheless. "Bye bye then, Miashiu!" she said cheerfully, smiling as she fluttered her way out of the cave, the axe disintegrating into the ground.
Flying out of the cave, she made her way back to the place where she had been: Ragefire. But, stopping, she looked back at the cave, eyes suddenly welling up with tears. "Nicolai..." she muttered, sniffling a few times as she went to deliver both Miashiu's message and the news of Nicolai's death.
