 Zuki looked ant him and shook her head, laughing quietly. "You're very strange." She looked up and watched the bird scatter at the sound of his howl. "Isn't Cerberus the name of the three-headed dog that guards the underworld in Greek mythology?" She tilted her head, thinking out loud.

Strange? I don't think I am." Cerberus said. "And that is where the name comes from. Though I think my dad just named me that since he wanted me to have a dog-like name."

"Most people don't." Zuki laughed. "I learned to accept my strangeness." She tilted her head. "I knew the name sounded familiar. But why a dog name? I don't walk around with a demon-like name just because my mom was a demon. Though if you'd have been born with three heads... different story." She laughed lightly, hoping it didn't offend him.
