She had to admit, her heart felt a little heavy listening to his story, saddened to hear that he was kicked out of his house at only ten years… he was still so little, it was such an important time to need your family, hearing this only made Rosie feel closer to him though, in a way wanting to protect him, even though he was a full grown man, and she was still, in all right, a child. Grown adults could still use support and protection sometimes! That’s what she thought anyway, she would protect anyone she cared about.
He was still able to smile though, and it looked wonderful, she couldn’t help but return the smile, tilting her head softly as she listened to him talking about his friends, and his sister.
She could tell he was feeling homesick, even without him saying it, and at his apology she shook her head softly, stepping forward a little to look up at him.
“I know just how it feels; I miss my mommy and my sister more than anything. Its normal to always want the ones you love close to you.” She reached a hand out to put it on his, trying to be reassuring
“Your friend Moose and your sister sound like they are very important to you, I bet they care about you a lot, and just want you to do your best with your pokemon breeding”
she offered him another smile, though she couldn’t help a worried look on her face.
“Please don’t be upset Sorano, you’re a good person, you deserve to be happy”

His voice cracked a little before he had a chance to reply. Had he a right to be happy? Especially with the choices he decided to make in his life? He abandoned his family, abandoned his best friend and overall: joined an evil organization out to concur the world with an iron maiden and an iron fist. To him -- such gestures could never be granted redemption. A sigh escaped past those lips and Sorano turned fully to Rosie. He set down his drink and immediately pulled the blond into a tiiiiiight hug. Never flared at this and remembered the times when he was hugged so tight by his owner at night he couldn't breathe. Those hugs normally left him short of breath and fairly dizzy. The Flareon felt for the poor girl and hoped she would be alright when it was over.
Sorano released her after a couple of seconds (maybe it felt like hours?) and grinned like a cheap fool.
"Yer a good person, Rosie." he said and shifted her hands up to her shoulders. "Dun' lose tha good 'eart a yers, 'kay? It be hard ta find peeps 'round in this world with a good 'eart. Yer momma musta been a good 'erson too ta raise such a girl. Kudos ta 'er."
Never the Flareon twisted his mouth up. They've been out for quite some time. Wasn't it about the hour they returned to the base?
"Flaaaare." Never stretched and tugged at the loose hem of Sorano's pants. Sorano took his on full and nodded at Never. At least he agreed for a change. It was about time they headed home.
"Ah." he breathed and gave a salute (with the wrong hand) towards Rosie. "It be seemin' tha lil' Neva 'own there wants ta go 'ome. It be 'bout time too . . . gots ta make din din fer him an' me. I guess this be where we parts ways, yes? See yas, Rose!"
With that, the Rocket grunt zipped off into the distance (Tripping and falling on his face too. It's alright though, he's used to it.) and made his way home. What a day.

"oh" Blinks, taken by surprise when she's suddenly pulled into a hug by the man.
Kiss hopping off of her shoulder, startled, landing on the ground next to Never as she blinked up at the humans, "Chuuu~" she cooed, how nice.
He was hugging her very tightly, she didn't even have the ability to move if she wanted to, but to her, this just showed what he was feeling, to embrace someone to tightly...
This gesture touched her, letting her eye lids relax a little, her taken aback face smoothed into a soft smile.
But, it was nice to breath again when he did let go. before she could say anything, he had spoken again, and his words... warmed her heart.
She blushed, feeling the happiness move to her face, and tease at the corner of her eyes. he would say such kind things to her, and to her mother.
Rosie's expression became a little misty, even though she was still smiling.
"Thank you Mr, Dinkley"
Before she could say much more, he saluted, announcing he had to leave, she completely understood, she knew that living by the mountains must be a long way away. she didn't want him walking for to long in the dark.
setting her drink down as well, she folded her hands infront of her, and bowed to him
"I'm happy that I met you." she said, standing up again and smiling "I hope we get to meet again"
Kiss hopped back into her trainers shoulder, after turning to Never, leaning up and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. waving good buy.
Vahy'n remained sitting, cooing softly as the two took their leave.
"bye bye!" Rosie called, waving to him, then "oh!" covering her mouth a little when he tripped. He seemed okay, so she smiled a little nervously, and continued to wave.
