She sighed boredly. They seemed to be...atleast Interrested in what was going on with the world.....Saika wasn't. She sat in a tree in the park, but despised what she was doing...Existing. 'If I wanted to die....They should have let me...I wouldn't mind being nothing....'she thought, having watched the other shinigami for a while now... She blamed them, though she knew they'd had nothing to do with it....She blamed all the shinigami....though admittedly, it took some effort..... Her blue eyes were like eternal ice.....Her dark hair went all the way down her back, down to her waist, and blew in the wind ever so slightly, despite how it was tied into a loose, low ponytail with a black ribbon. She wore a black chinese dress, with red edging and embroidery, that had a rather high collar. The dress split about 6 inches below the waist, showing off her legs, and black leather knee-high boots that buckled all the way up. Her hat, was a bowler hat, with red fox ears sticking out the top. They twitched slightly...Her black, feathery wings did the same. She had ditched her partner, Ryuu, earlier that day....She blamed him just as much as any other shinigami for keeping her alive on this plain of reality. She didn't want to be there....But none of them would let her leave. She had been trying as hard as she could to remember her life, so she could become a ghost...But even for her, tying a cinderblock to your feet, and dropping it into a river isn't somthing one would want to remember.....Ryuu usually stopped her right before she could remember anything of significance...Today however, Saika was starting to get somewhere....Her feet felt heavy...but she couldnt' really tell why....She stopped thinking about it, now sencing Ryuu getting closer to her. "Stupid jerk...can't he just let me dissappear in peace?!"she said out loud, hoping he would hear her.

Myth stopped in the middle of the sky and looked around. She heard someone say something... I wonder who the stupid jerk is... she thought when she finally saw the speaker. She flew into another tree, in a place where she could the speaker, but the speaker couldn't see her. It's a shinigami... wonder if she's alone... probably not... Myth tried to figure out all she could about this mysterious shinigami... Well this should keep my mind off of... she stopped herself from thinking about that...

Saika stood up, and faced the tree that the other shinigami sat in. 'Ok, lets see which one of them it is....'she thought, trying to figure out by their auora which among the shinigami it could be. She recognised it as Myth's almost at once. "Myth, what are you doing?"She said, sounding annoyed with her co-worker....Though...It was better when she sounded annoyed, than when she sounded bitter, which happened far more often.
That was when it happened: Another shinigami, a guy wearing a black skull cap with Wolf ears poking out the top and an red trim arround the bottom covering sandy brown hair tackled her out of the tree. "Damnit Saika, you were doing it again, wern't you!?!"he said, holding her down onto the ground. He was wearing a long-sleeved black and red jacket, much like her dress, with a black shirt underneath it. the shirt stopped just above his stomach, and the jacket stopped about 2 inches above that. He had on baggy black cargo pants, and black sneakers. His wings, were almost exactally like hers, except his were real.
"Get off me!"Shouted Saika, throwing him off of her easilly. She even kicked him in the ribs while he was on the ground. "I told you to leave me alone! I don't want your help, and I'm sure as hell not taking a soul, so just let me dissappear!"She added bitterly.
Ryuu winced, and held the spot where she had kicked him. It hurt alot....especially with those boots of hers....But it seemed that pinning her to the ground, was the only thing that could really get her mind off trying to dissappear....That was when he spotted Myth as well. "Hi Myth...."Said Ryuu sheepishly. This kind of thing tended to happen to him alot....He and Saika were known for their world-class arguments.

(I guess I can't use Sabutaru for a while.. darn.. he would have been funn... with TWO n's... 4laugh )
"Ryuu, Saika" Myth said, nodidng at the two of them as a hello... She held back a couple words that rose whenever she saw Saika hurt Ryuu... She completly understood Saika's need to become a ghost, she felt it too... and she still does.. And Ryuu was a lot like her old partner... Just.. different... "I wasn't doing anything..." she said, answering Saika's question. There were so many words she always held back whenever she saw these two it wasn't funny, but she never said them... Well, not that she knew...

Saika just shot her a ditry look. "Liar," She said bluntly.
"Saika, stop it. You know as well as I do that not everyone is out to get you....Though they might be if you keep this up...."said Ryuu, who had gotten back onto his feet.
"I didn't say they were out to get me. Its all you stupid people trying to keep me alive!"She shouted back. He was pushing all the right buttons, and obviously doing it intentionally.
"Well, I'm not about to let you go and dissappear and all, so your just going to have to get used to it,"Said Ryuu, smiling warmly. Then he turned back to Myth, "Sorry about this whole argument...She's just grumpy!" he said, grinning.
Saika elbowed him in the stomach. "I'll show you grumpy...."She mumbled, though it seemed like she was actually starting to calm down a little. She hated to admit it...but being arround Ryuu made her feel better.

Myth could almost laugh... but she didn't. "Have you seen my partner around here?" She asked. Although HER partner was also annoying.. he has been gone longer than usual... "He's about ye high, looks like a monkey..." she described, last time she checked, Saika and Ryuu didn't know Sabutaru... I swear this is deja vu... she thought...

"A monkey? Your not serious, are you?"spat Saika. She was being sarchastic, and more than a bit rude....but it seemed she was in a better mood arround the two other shinigami than usual: She had only said they were stupid for trying ot keep her alive once so far.
"Ohh! I know who your partner is...I just don't remember his name.....I met him a few days ago....Nice guy,"Said Ryuu, who was always more optomistic than Saika....And alot politer too. It was hard to immagine that he would have killed himself....but, generally that is what happens when someone slits their wrists.

(Dammit.. I have to re-type this post because of my stupid internet... stare )
(And I have to retype again... -kills computer- Wait... -rebuilds computer- there...)
"Well that figures.. that you and Sabutaru would get along..." Myth said as she rolled her eyes. "I should probably look for him..." she curtsied a goodbye, just a habit of her's, and flew off, silently happy to get away from those two.
Sabutaru walked down the street, after finishing his meal with Crystal. He looked up and sighed, He was late, and there was Myth. He would probably get an even colder shoulder than usual for a while... "Oh well..." he mumbled as hs waited for Myth to see him.

"Saika! Look what you've done now...You scared her away,"Said Ryuu, looking sad. It was rather often that people ran away from the two of them.
Saika spotted the look on his face, and sighed. Then, she did something she'd never actually done before to Ryuu: She appolagised. "Look...I'm....erm...Sorry, that....I keep...people from....wanting to be near you. If you'd just let me dissappear then you wouldn't.....have this kind of-"She never got to finish her scentence.
"Don't talk like that. Your my partner. If everyone else hates me, and you stop wanting to become a ghost, I'm ok with that...."He replied, smiling just a little.
Saika was rather suprised by this. Why on earth did he still actually like her? Honestly, she had expected that things would be easier....if everyone else hated her as much as she pretended to hate them....
"I'll leave you alone for a little while if you want...Just....Promise me you won't keep trying to dissappear. Atleast....For today,"said Ryuu with a bit of a sigh. He waited untill Saika had nodded in agreement, and then started to walk away. "I'll meet up with you later, alright?"he called back, waving over his shoulder, without looking back.
Saika nodded again, though knowing he wouldn't see it. 'Maybe....He's....Not so bad.....'she thought.

Myth looked down at Sabutaru and sighed as she flew down in front of him.
"Where where you?" she asked.
"I was having dinner..." He replied.
"Alone?"
"Yup..."
Myth looked at him curiously, he wasn't usually like this... She shrugged it off. "Well, I'm going to go to sleep for the night.. you comin'?" she asked, walking towards the park.
"Yup..." he said, following...

Ryuu was walking straight towards them. He didn't really seem to see them, untill he was right next to them."Oh....Hi..."he said, feeling a little odd that he'd simply not seen them. He kept walking though, thinking perhapse Myth wanted to be alone with her partner, now that she'd found him.

"Hey, Ryuu, right?" Sabutaru asked/said, turning around, wanting to get away from Myth...
She sighed, annoyed. "I guess you'll be staying here..." she said, and flew away.
"Man she's gonna kill me..." Sabutaru said, mostly to himself, as he watched Myth run off... Of course that means she'll never love me... he reminded himself silently... "So, How've ya' been?" he asked Ryuu.

"Coping, if barely...Saika is...Still determined as ever to become a ghost. Hell, I've been skipping out on sleeping to make sure she doesn't remember anything then. How about you? Myth seemed kinda pissed off,"said Ryuu, sighing a little.

"She's fine..." Sabutaru said. "She gets like that a lot... You know Myth used to be like that too... Before her old partner got her to take a soul..." He said casually... "But now she remembers everything about her past... which makes her want to become a ghost even more..." He sighed. He knew he wasn't supposed to even know that... and the way he found out was strange... but he knew... There was nothing he could do about it... "She's always thinking about 'im..." he mumbled under his breath.

"Well...Maybe they'll get over it....You know, Like how Kichiro up in Hokkaido did. He's one of the nicest guys I know now,"Said Ryuu. It really wasn't all that uncommon for shinigami to have issues with taking souls. "Besides...They shouldn't look at it like we're taking souls....We are just guiding them after all...And being a lost soul is so much worse than being a ghost, or a shinigami..."Ryuu knew all about that. He'd been seperated from his body for 6 weeks before a shinigami came to get him....he couldn't even interact with the ghosts.....He'd never quite forgotten what that was like.
