I'm but a simple vine from a tree with big-heart shaped leaves.. Ivy's smile slipped, and was replaced by a frown. "Oh.. People attack us too? ...Well, I'll help to protect the people from the bad guys! That's what this school is for, right? So we can't fight each other, the good guys! Let's focus our attacks on the baddies!" Ivy's smile returned full blast, beaming up at Verin.

A small chuckle escaped his lips, soundless at first, then growing in volume, becoming louder and more profound until he fell over, laughing and clutching his gut.

Did I say something wrong, or do you naturally have laughing fits?" She was being serious with these questions, having no idea what was so funny with what she said.

"Nien, it's just...zat has to be one of ze most sappy, heartfelt, innocent things i have ever heard. It's hard to believe zat you could harm anyone, much less a Kishin. Are you a meister or a weapon?"

I'm but a simple vine from a tree with big-heart shaped leaves.. Ivy was still confused to the point of her head starting to ache, but she shook the thoughts away. "I'm a..meister, right. That'd be cool though, to turn into a weapon. You could be all, pshow! and cut the crust of your bread with your finger or be oompf! and wack the heck out of a boulder to make a little cave... Or poke someone in the eye if you weren't a blunt weapon or a sharp one.. That'd be awesome! Well, acutally..now that I think about it, being poked in the eye wouldn't be very pleasant." Ivy nodded to herself, grinning yet again.

He smiled, holding up his index finger, it began to elongate and turn to wood, ornate designs running up the shaft, ending in a ruby point. With a flourish, he waved his hands in a circular motion, the light shattering around him and creating glittering points of energy.

I'm but a simple vine from a tree with big-heart shaped leaves.. Ivy gasped in delight at the light show, and reached up with her hand to grab his own. "Do you turn into a magic wand? Is that how you can make the light do this, or is it just the light going through the ruby?" She pulled his hand down to peer into the ruby, her eyes shining in her happy mood.

"Nien, i become a conductors baton. ze reason i can create ze light is becuase i conduct ze natural flow und rythm of ze light. Everything has its own song, i can bend ze music of most things, but not people." He allowed her to play with the finger, letting her get a feel for the wood, oddly to him, it felt natural, like it was meant to happen.

Would your partner, if you got one, be able to hear the songs of everything too? If you don't know for sure, give me an honest guess, if you would.." Ivy quieted down for once, waiting eagerly for his reply.

Verin chuckled, ruffling the young girls hair. "Of course, as a weapon, my talents are ze meister’s talents if we connect deeply enough. Of course, i don't have a meister, according to Dr.Stine," he blushed at the mention of the doctors name. "I have a very low soul compatibility."

I'm but a simple vine from a tree with big-heart shaped leaves.. Ivy blinked in confusion, frowning a bit. "What does that mean, low soul compatibility? I've never really connected souls with anyone's before, or don't much work with my soul, but.. I'm sure we could connect souls, if all we need to do is chant some words.." Ivy was pretty much clueless at this, but despite her confusion she did not miss the way his face reddened at the name he gave.

"Vell, let's put it to ze test, shall we?" In a deft motion, he retook a standing position. In a flash, he lept into the air, clattering to the ground as a baton, the ruby tip gleamed in the light. "Now," His voice echoed inside himself, "See if you can pick me up."

I'm but a simple vine from a tree with big-heart shaped leaves.. Ivy blinked slowly in surprise, but shrugged and squatted next to Verin. "All I have to do is pick you up? That seems easy, too easy for something this Doctor person calls a low soul compatibility.." Ivy took a deep breath, and stared down at Verin in determination mixed with nervousness, like she was trying to pull Excalibur from the stone. She reached towards Verin and wrapped her fingers around his baton form, and pulled with her arm to lift him.((Speaking of which, I'm sure Ivy could totally stand to be around Excalibur. X3))

To Verins surprise, he was lifted off the ground. His next words were of shock and awe, dumbfounded, his next words rang out. "WAS ZUM TEUFEL? Ich dachte aber ...... wow. I guess...that makes you my meister?"

I haven't even been to the school and I've already got my partner! Woopee~!" Ivy grinned happily, and spun around with Verim still gripped in her hand. "I'm so happy that we're partners, we're going to kick some bad butt!" Ivy held Verim out, opening her palm so he could transform back to his normal form, giving a proud and goofy grin to Girl-chan, Kiyoshi, and Hana.((What was that he shouted in German? OwO))
