Naiten came in, last as always. Before she had fully caught up, though, a group of men appeared. She managed to just reach the group when Aki let out his warning. The girl clearly understood what he meant but did nothing to give up her position in the rear of the group. She would probably do more harm than good in the front lines. Now, instead of keeping them either glued to the ground or wandering, they were focused clearly on the targets in front of her. Although, even doing that much made the girl uncomfortable. She really hoped her focus wouldn't attract any attention.

While the three large men near him all wore scowls, the leader of the ragtag group wore an expression of mock hurt. "Bandits? Rouges? Why, you wound me, mistress. We're merely sent here to collect a toll of passage for our beloved Tsuchikage. The Land of Earth needs to prosper too, you know. Now please, would you be able to pay, just to end all this unpleasantness?" The man said, his left hand fingering the pommel of his dagger, and his right placed on his hip in a bored fashion. The rich red cloak he wore billowed slightly in the wind as the tension mounted between the groups, each waiting for the other to make a move.

The clone's eyes narrowed even more at the man's expression of mock hurt and his comment almost made Akai want to just smack that look from his face. When the man fingered his dagger lightly, it didn't go unnoticed by Akai and she wondered just what techniques this man knew. 'Hm...pay or not to pay...' When Hiniko spoke, Akai sighed at her words and turned to face her. "Did you not hear the words of our client? Or where you informed of such a thing from our dear Hokage that I was not told of as well?" Akai hissed the words softly to Hiniko and spoke in a more serious voice as she began her next talk. "And don't think I don't want to avoid fighting like you do. As much as this mission irritates me, I'm still in charge and if anything happens to you, I'm dead. Trust me sweetie, you don't know rouges, they'll rob us bare."

Returning her gaze forward, Akai spoke once more in a clear voice. "Fine, we'll pay. As long as you can prove to us that you will let us pass afterwards. Order you men to throw their clubs to the other end of the road, you as well. If you are truly just here to charge us money, there's no need for weapons is there gentlemen?" A few seconds she finished, the real Akai emerged approximately 3 meters from behind the group of bandits, a bit sort for breath. She had stayed underground longer than she perferred but at least she was out and in a good position to negotiate as well as support her team.

From her position in the back, Naiten watched carefully. She had changed nothing in her physical posture. However, that didn't mean that she wasn't thinking. While she might have been practically mute from her dislike of attention, that didn't mean that she didn't think actively. She could tell that her group was starting to slowly lose its teamwork, what little teamwork it had to start with that was. First it was Suki who had rushed off ahead of the others and Akai's apparently natural dislike of the entire mission in general. Oh, and she couldn't forget herself and her unwillingness to talk and interact. Now even Hiniko seemed to be getting irritated after being chastised unfairly, at least from the Hyuuga's point of view, for trying to suggest a peaceful way out. From what she could see, all Nai could hope was that everyone cared enough about finishing the mission and not getting in trouble to work together in the end. the girl thought to herself as she realized that there was one person that she had skipped,

{Tenchi, sealing doesn't work that way. I know for a fact you aren't a jounin, and only jounin can create seals with a touch of their hand, and then only with the proper benefit. Without that, you have to draw the seal manually. The chakra added to the seal is just to activate it, and is added only after the seal has been fully made.

Also, kindly explain just how you came to possess knowledge of a C ranked seal? It's impossible to learn seals above your own rank, that's why the ranking is "Rank to learn".

As the leader began to speak again, Akai found his words disbelieving and a bit lame.As he spoke, the shift in movement of the three burly men didn't go unnoticed but the clone remained rooted to her spot as she narrowed her eyes at the leader. When the men charged, Akai noticed their target being Aki and whipping her head back, was glad to see the three girls already doing their best to handle the enemy. Jumping back, the clone slipped passed the initial battle and focused mainly on protecting their client. As an ember clone, clone Akai was only limited to 1/10 of her original's abilities and to be honest, that wasn't much.

Once the man charged, the real Akai took a slipped a kunai from the kunai pouch hidden from beneath the cover of her red skirt. Kunai in her right hand, Akai snapped her left fingers and created a small flame on the palm of her hands. Not wanting to burn her hands, Akai quickly brought the flame to the kunai and transferred the flame over to her kunai, successfully covering it in a coat of flame. Adding more chakra to the technique, Akai was able to enlarge the flame so that it extends the range of her kunai by 1ft. Pushing off her back leg, Akai charged towards the leader from behind in hopes of first disabling his left arm.


Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu (Fire Release: Cinder Technique)
Description: Basic to all Katon users is the ability to set thing things on fire, obviously. This technique allows a person to snap their fingers and ignite a spark anywhere they so wish. A simple cinder and no more, this jutsu is used mostly in pranks and the like.

Katon: Hi Shinten no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame Spread Technique)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to extend the flame from their hand to any weapon or item they may be holding. This creates a surrounding layer of flame around the object, but the object is unharmed. This can only extend to a length of 3 feet maximum, or the length of a medium sized sword.
