 Soma just smiled at the way that Mariko greeted both himself and Dantalus. It seemed she would address them like this because they where older but, Soma wasn't one to accept those because he felt everyone was equal.
"Its alright Mariko you don't have to use such high standing formalities with us. We are a family we all see each others as equals here."
Soma then heard that she wanted to train with them. Of course Soma couldn't turn her down. Even though she was a girl she was a strong girl who was a great Rain Guardian also. Soma knew that with all this talk of attacking over Families that those other three bosses talked about. Soma just knew things where going to get crazy sooner or later. It was better to be prepared than to not be.

Mariko smiled an awkward smile “S...sorry” she said, laughing softly “I know but... Since I lived in Japan most of my life, I'm kinda used to it but I'll try, Semp- I mean Soma-Kun... o..or is that too much?” she smiled again “Nazayuka-Kun? Hmmm... I don't know” she sighed “Whatever you prefer!” she said, smiling brightly at her boss, her family member.
Hearing his answer, Mariko's smile brightened “Thank you!” she said “I'll do my best!” she added, looking up at Soma “Is there anything planned or are we just sparring?” she asked. She would join either way, even if she wasn't fond of sparring, mot liking the idea that she might hurt a member of the family. Even if they weren't blood or legally related, they were the only family she had... well, maybe her grandparents back in Japan were still alive, but after her father married a 'gaijin', they refused to have any sort of contact with her or her mother. Other then that everyone were...
The short teen shook her head, replacing the smile that disappeared somewhere along her train of thought, looking back up and waiting for Soma's answer.

Soma started to laughing. It showed by everything she did that she use to live in Japan. The way she talked made anyone seem more than what they would have wanted to be. Soma started to not mind it anymore since he could tell she was going to say it that way no matter what. Soma smiled and said.
"Its ok Mariko, you may call me whatever you like in whatever way you like."
Soma then listened to what she said about the training that they would be doing later on after Dantalus and himself rested some more to catch there breath and regain stamina. Soma thought about it for a while. He knew that he wanted them to practice team work but, he didn't know what else he wanted them to practice. Teamwork was number one. So on side of teamwork what could be number two for them Soma thought. As Soma thought about it an idea came to his head.
"Well besides teamwork Mariko, I will also have this training help you harmonize with your box weapons or box animals to become more comfortable with using them in battle.  Dantalus smiled as the Rain Guardian came over to speak to the two guys. Despite the fact that he was tired and he didn't know how the hell he had the resolve necessary to keep going despite the huge gap between him and Soma, Dantalus was happy with his progress. Even now, he felt stronger than he did when he started, even though he was now resting and was not in the shape for any kind of fight. Mariko calling him DiMaggio-Sempai though was very nice. It had a nice ring in his ears, it even caused him to smile, which can be seen by the grin on his face.
"I agree with Boss. You can call me anything you like, I like DiMaggio-Sempai though. Makes me sound important, if you don't mind me saying."
He said, listening to his boss talk about their next part of training, which he was already looking forward too. He wonders how he can combine with his teammates to create combinations that nobody can resist, even as Soma talked, Dantalus listened intently before he put his own two sense.
"Great, so when me and you get rested up, we can start right away right? Why not share stories while we're resting, about each other and stuff? Like where we came from, how we got here and became who we are, stuff like that?"

Mariko nodded at Soma “I guess I'll try Nazayuka-Kun... somewhere in the middle” she smiled before turning to the Storm Guardian, laughing lightly “Then DiMaggio-Sempai it is!” she said with a grin.
Hearing Soma's plans the teen nodded “Gotcha!” she said “I still need to work on my control on the Farfalle di Pioggia” she noted “Since there are so many, sometimes it's hard to control each and every one of them... and if I can't do that, the technique isn't as strong as it could be...” she thought out loud “The more I control, the more power I get right?” she said with a smile, tilting her head “And Working on teamwork is important too!” she added “I mean, you can be as strong as you want, but if you join your power with others it only makes us stronger! I mean, we all have weaknesses” she said with a grin “Like mine! I may be fast, but my stamina is kinda low and I'm not THAT physically strong” she noted “But that's what teams are for right?” she asked, winking.
And of course, the two males needed to rest after their training session. Fighting while still recovering from another training session wasn't going to help... they needed to use their full power and full potential. Before Mariko even managed to start thinking about what to do during the time they wait, Dantalus came up with an idea.
Mariko looked up at him and Soma, thinking silently. There wasn't much to tell, most of her life was pretty normal... well, most of it at least. But she guessed it was alright... she had nothing to hide from the family, no reason to either. She trusted them and she didn't see her past as soome kind of secret she needed to hide... and even if she did, it didn't matter, because again, she trusted the family, the guardians, the boss, everyone. It might be stupid in the mafia world, but she wanted to believe that their family was different, that there weren't any traitors...
Mariko giggled, smiling again “Sounds good to me!” she called out “Getting to konw each other might even help us with the whole 'teamwork' thing, right Nazayuka-Sem- I mean Nazayuka-Kun?”

Soma looked at Mariko and then to Dantalus. Soma then smiled and looked up at the sky. It was beautiful outside. This was how it should have been all the time. Soma liked it and he was very happy to be here with his family. As they rested and Dantalus came up with his idea Soma then said.
"That shouldn't be a problem. It would be a good thing for us to get to know each other even better. So who wants to go first."
After Soma said that he just smiled. Soma wanted to see who it was that was going to go first in talking about there past. Soma's pasted wasn't bad until it got to his younger brother.Word Count: 121 Total Word Count: 8417 (Total Words for Points: 3327= 22.1pts)

"Moriko is right. Soma's got speed and I got the Stamina and Strength, but together we can overcome our weaknesses and truely be a powerful family. What we all have in common is how strong our Dying Will Flames are."
Dantalus raised his hand quickly, as if he was a little kid about to share storytime. He was always excited to share his story with anybody who is willing to listen. That includes his boss and his fellow guardians. He is quite sure that she and Soma would like to hear his story about how he came from Greece to Los Angeles and his unique condition with his dense musculature and stuff like that.
"Oh, oh, let me share let me share. It will all start in the city of Athens over in Greece. It's a beautiful place guys, we should go visit it sometime."

"Oh! It could be awesome!” Mariko said “I've never been to Europe! Or any place that isn't Japan or the US" she said before shaking her head, looking at Dantalus and Soma “Maybe we could have a trip to see everyone's home town or something” she giggled “You guy will be able to eat real sushi and- oh! We can go see the fireworks! And the festivals! Oh! Oh! And a Tea Ceremony! With the complete traditional Japanese outfit! Oh! I'll be able to buy a new Yukata!” she giggled before shaking her head “But anyway, maybe we should sit somewhere?” she said, placing a finger on her lip “I think we should stay outside... it's really nice here and it's a shame to let this nice weather go to waste by sitting inside no?” she asked, still smiling.

"The grass is a great place to sit. It's all soft and comfortable to lay on and gaze at the clouds passing by."
Dantalus answered as he got up and went a part of the large grassy lawn that the Base had before taking off his sledgehammer weapon and flopping on his back on the grass. He then put his hands behind his back, a big smile was plastered on his face. It wasn't that far away from the rest of the group, so as they eventually came to join him, Dantalus began to talk.
"Athens is where I was born, but even as a child, my mom and dad knew I was different. You see, I was born with the this genetic anamoly where that as I grew up, I would have denser muscles than most average people have. It explains why I was able to do things other kids couldn't. As I grew older, my strength increased leaps and bounds beyond the others."
Dantalus then looked behind him to see whether Soma and Mariko followed before he continued.
"When I was a teenager, I joined a violent gang and was the muscle of the group. I have been in Juvenile Detention several times over my teenage years and to cut ties with them, my family moved here, to Los Angeles. But I ended up joining a far more violent gang than back in my hometown, to the point that when they murdered a rival gang, I left to try to pursue a normal life. That's when I met him."
Dantalus said, pointing straight at Soma as he said that.
"He tried to recruit me into this family once, I didn't buy into the whole Mafia thing and all this stuff about Dying Will Flames and stuff like that. But when we were attacked by some of my former gang, me and him had to work together to fend them off. It was after a long brawl that I decided to be his friend and join this family. Though it has only been a few days ago since that day, I feel as if I owe Soma my life."
Dantalus said, looking at the two with a big grin on his face.
"So who wants to share next?"

Soma thought to himself that its was great for him to have Guardians that came from different areas of the world. It was such a good thing. The only problem is that Soma only ever remembered living here in Los Angeles his whole life he didn't know if his family was from any other there.
"Well you guys are already in my home town. Los Angeles is all i know. I would love to see where both of you grew up and eveything. Like you said Mariko. One day we will go to Japan and Greece and just take a load off and relax."
Soma thought to himself. Greece might have been a good place to relax. Japan on the other hand would cause problems being that several other Mafia families live there and rule there. There is Tokyo and Namimori Japan. Both are held by Mafia families some even more dangerous than others. Soma stopped thinking about it and just kept on listening to Dantalus as he walked over to the grass where Dantalus went sit down.
After Dantalus was finished Soma remembered that day. It wasn't that long ago but, at the same time he gained a new friend who he could trust. Soma took a deep breath and said.
"Your right that day was one to remember. Hell most of the people back inside the base remember it even though I told them to stay back at the base. Mariko listened to Dantalus as he spoke, listening carefully to his story. She had bad experiences with violent gangs, but the past was the past, and she knew Dantalus enough to know that he will never betray them or... shaking her head, Mariko smiled, raising her hand and waving it once the Storm Guardian finished his story “Oh! I'm next! Me! Me!” she called out before her hand dropped to her lap “Okay! so...I hope this won't be too long” she said, laughing “So... Mom was born here, in Los Angeles” she said “She was a Historian and her favorites were the histories of eastern countries, so she decided to go study abroad, first in China, then Japan then... well anyways, once she got to Japan, she met my dad, who was a Professor in the university she studied in, and after that the story is no different then any other love story, they fall in love, mom decides to stop her tour in order to marry dad, they got married and then I was born” Mariko said with a smile “Well, the first thirteen years of my life are pretty normal...” she thought out loud “Going to school, meeting friends... oh, well... ever since I was little I liked this weapon mom bought when she was in China before I was born” she continued “I wanted to use it but she never allowed it” she laughed “So when I was ten, I started practicing with similar weapons” she said, pausing for a moment to think. Her smile dropped for a second before she laughed “So, when I was thirteen my dad died in a car accident” Mariko said “Mom decided we should move to The US, to mom's family, and even here I managed to keep training” she laughed “And after that life was back to normal... well, until I was sixteen” she said, her smile now hiding a sad glint “We were out shopping one day... and we got in the middle of a gang fight... mom got killed, but even with me as an eye witness the guy who did it walked away without punishment...” she said “I found out that the guy belonged to a gang that worked under the Musou Family...” her smile grew as she looked at Soma “And somewhere around that time we met” she said “I didn't really have anywhere to go since most of my family were... well... dead. I think my grandparents on dad's side might be alive but... after dad married a 'gaijin' they didn't even talk to us... I think I met them once... or maybe twice” she added with a smile “So a lot of the things I have are from the house... I took the valuable things, clothes and mom's weapon... the Guan Dao I'm using, and join Nazayuka-Kun and the family!” she said with a smile “I guess it's my stupid wish that no one losses anyone like I did but...” she giggled “I want to help Nazayuka-Kun make a better world” she laughed “And that's my story” she said, smiling brightly.

After Soma listened to Mariko's story he knew it was his turn to tell his story. It was something Soma knew his story wasn't that interesting until his brother died. Soma's family is still in hiding so he knew this story was something new. Soma then looked at both Dantalus and Mariko and said.
"Well my story is simple. Ever since I was born, I have lived here in Los Angeles. When I was five I started started martial arts which in turn helped me become better with hand to hand fighting. At the age of ten I was the best at martial arts in Los Angeles. That was also the first time I ever met the leader of the Musou Family and was beat by him. It seemed that after that battle all I have ever did was fight the Musou Family day after day. This never ended. My own brother met the fate of death behind the Musou Family."
Soma then thought about what happened to his brother. It wasn't something he really liked but, at the same time Soma still got his revenge for his brothers death.
"Well after what happened my mom and dad seemed hurt over it more than anyone. I was hurt but, I wanted revenge. After I made 19 I was living on my own because I wanted my mom and dad to go into hiding so that they wouldn't be killed. At the same time I had made a decision with a couple of people who I knew from school we made a vigilanty group that would go up against them. After about four months me and my friends decided to attack the Musou Family Base. After we made this decision we attacked the Musou Family Base. It took us five hours to win the battle but, we won and we came out of the base victorious."
After Soma said that it became clear that this base was a new home and that he knew that everything that happened for a reason. Soma smiled because now he knew that everything was exactly how it was suppose to be. Then Soma said.
"You guys know what happened after that because everything lead us to this moment here now. We are a family. So as a family our personal families are protected about by the members of this family. Wow, his compainions have less violent pasts than I do. Soma's is close, but Mariko besides her mom getting killed by a gang member under the employment of the Musou family, she had the most normal life out of them all. All interesting stories, Dantalus thought as he popped his neck to get all the kinks out, then he looked towards his boss and fellow guardian, nodding throughout their storytime, he then nodded several times at their dreams and goals. He then pointed at Soma's side as he asked his boss.
"Hows your side? I got you pretty good with my hammer while we were training. Hope I didn't get you too hard, after all I don't know my own strength when I'm angry. At least sometimes I don't know."
Dantalus said, chuckling a little bit as he scratched the back of his head in embarassment. It was a failing of his while he was growing up. As he got older, his parents had to pay more money to repair damages he did to walls and doors when he got angry at something that happened in his life. Eventually they had to make his room out of steel to curb his destructive way of venting anger. Now that he knows his limits, he needed to be careful about who he hurts, unless in a fight.

Soma smiled as he heard what Dantalus had asked him. It was kind of funny to him because Dantalus did indeed hurt him a bit. As Soma finished smiling he looked up at the sky and said to Dantalus.
"Yea you did get me good. Yet you know I was the one who won and I did do a number on you myself."
After Soma said that he looked back at the base it was a nice size base for them. Soma then looked at the grounds itself. It was truely beautiful for them. "Well you are the boss of course. You would have to be at least a bit stronger than the rest of your family, otherwise you would be usurped from your position due to people thinking you are weak. Well at least if this was a normal family, without you have the extremely rare Sky Flames and such to prove your position."
Dantalus said chuckling as he looked on his body to where Soma hit him hard. Though he didn't break a rib, it still hurt alot, alot more than he would expect from someone who is alot shorter and slimmer than he is. He must of used his Sky Flames to amplify his punches, similar to how he uses his Storm Flames to beef up his sledgehammer.
"So Soma, what will our next training session be like?"
Dantalus asked, already pumped for his next chance to show what he's got to bring to the Nazayuka Family's table, with supposedly being Soma's right hand man and wielder of the Storm Flames, the most offensive oriented flames of them all. Combine his flames with other flames could make them even stronger and make some really powerful combinations. As he waited for Soma's response, he looked up at a passing cloud above them.
