Just That Awesome Testicular Diabetes  I think most of the alien items are ugly. They look hideous, why would anyone want them? I think this will be a fail item. =/ They want to look alien? That's why I buy them.
It probably will fail, being a unpopular theme AND a 749, but again it all depends on how good the poses are. So far it's not looking popular but there are still ~9 evolutions to go. the statement that it may have 9 eveloutions may be wrong (Catastrophie and Tama's Basket), but i read somewhere they would encorperate cryptids such as Sasquatch and Ol' Nessie into the posses. I would buy a bigfoot item

btw, Catastrophe and Tama's Basket aren't even close to comparable. Catastrophe is a 50GC EI and Tama's Basket is over 3 years old. If you want to compare it to something, try another 749GC EI from this year—Dappy Dandy, Masquerade, Shadowlegend etc. You'll see that a lot of them have around 10 evolutions. 3nodding
I do hope we see some monsters though. Might not help the investment potential but I love those things. They're just so ugly! 4laugh

I for one am excited for this EI...
I don't think this is going to be an extraterrestrial focused EI however. Playing off the description of the EI, I think it's going to be focused on unexplained occurrences that happen throughout the world and perhaps history.
It's always fun guessing what the evolving items are going to turn out in the end
The only times I was ever right, is guessing that the Gogh Reed would delve in the theme of elements, and that the Lyndexer's Journal would deal with war-time romance

I'm not particularly interested in this EI but I think its art quality is very good, and I kind of like its poses even if I'm not inclined to its concept.
Hmm.
I might get it if I get some extra gold.
