Just as he had predicted. The fool had snak into his trap. Agito felt a little rpoud, to be able to outsmart someone. All in all Itami had begun to sink, his bulky weapon dragging him down. It was a good fight. Agito would have to give props to Itami when he would thaw out, as for entertaining Agito for that brief period of time. His body still continued to shake in responce to the pain that wrought him. He struggled to get up, his body at it's capacity could do very little. He felt a surge of energy coming from Itami. What? How? How was he still concious? The ice would have froze him solid by now! He glanced back at the wave that was churning in the air. Streaks of red dotted and steamed the inside of the water. Red. Almost like...blood. He witnessed Itami slicing his palm open. His mind boggled at new possibilities. Could this weapon hold some secret power that only a blood offering can summon? Was that it? At that point, the wave that he had summoned around Itami was blon to bits. His mind's voice howled in irritation. The tentacles surged forward to their prey, eager to capture to fool that dare enrage their master. They were an inch away from Itami's throat when he called out a truce, the tentacles pausing in mid air. Fickle, as that was his overall nature, he pondered the matter. He gradually came to the understanding that if he kept Itami there he could possibly entertain Agito more if not help him get to the Academy to learn spells. He nodded lightly in agreement. With a involentary groan, he severed the frozen part of his body from his luquid form. It was if he was tearing off a part of himself from him, the pain similar to cutting off an arm. He panted as he murmured the enchantments from Magnus, water trickling down to his ruined frame, restoring it. The water though did not help in any way to aleviate the pain that surged through his viens. His body shimmered after a while, then returned to his normal human guise. It strained Agito to become his natural self, as he was still just a youngling in the world of spirits. His mother...she was much better at transformation. He propped himself up onto a nearby stalagmite. He closed his eyes to rest, breathing heavily. The tentacles had drifted from Itami to Agito. They circled him aimlessly as they appeared to be probing their master's welfare. Simultaniously, they sloshed back into normal water. They were no more.
((Just noticed that there is only one church that's not destroyed. What happened to all of the other temples/churches for the other religions like Sinpou?))

((I'm guessing they were destroyed or incomplete.))
Itami sighed and lowered his arms. With the little magic he had left, he levitated a chunk of ice and melted it to water. After gulping a few mouthfuls of water, he stretched and made his way to Agito. He wasn't completely human after all. It didn't matter though, Itami couldn't care less. As Itami released magic from his weapon, pain ran through his veins like blood. It made his pounce down and spit blood. That scythe has been useful, but annoying. He didn't even get to use all the abilities. Maybe next time. He looked up at the sky, it was starting to brighten. Seems night was almost over. How long have we been fighting? he thought. The wind howled against his ear and blew a icy kiss on his kiss that made him shiver. After being in the water and ice of the wave, Itami was wet top to bottom. Given the circumstances and the scenery, hypothermia was a serious possibility. His fingers were almost numb and his limbs wouldn't stop shaking. Bad situation. Itami needed to get warm and fast. He ran towards the cave, attempting to get his body alive again and save time. The fire was barely still alive. Go figure. Itami raced to the nearest tree and hacked at it with his scythe. He grabbed some firewood underneath the surface before it made contact with the snow. Then, he ran once again to the cave and carefully threw the wood directly on the fire source. At first, it appeared that the wood wasn't flammable, but after a few seconds sparks consumed the objects and later engulfed them in flames. Itami rubbed his hands and removed his cloak. He kept it near the fire so it could dry and warm up.

He panted and gasped, like a trout out of water, gasping for liquid air. All he could do was sit. The wind had poked through the small tarp that hung at the entrance of the cave entrance. The small zyphrs drifted through the cave, whistling as they hovered about. They poked and bit at Agito's skin, licking his limbs stone cold and rendering them near to useless. Agito managed to gather up the strangth to shift around his spot, causing friction against the freezing stone below his bottox. The night that which prevailed over the course of their fight had now near faded, morning shining it's utmost glory to all that beheld it. He watched as Itami had begun to rediculously run about, including gathering more wood for their fire. He staggered, his legs struggling to get up. Shuffling forward, he soon was in front of Itami. Without another word, much less any word at all, he flicked his hand. The fight with Itami had proven to be useful. Now he held a greater hold and understanding to how his powers worked. The water that profusely clung onto Itami had begun to gather at one point, Itami's chest. Once Agito knew that Itami's clothes were dried, he flicked his finger again. The orb of water now glided, seemingly traveling towards the entrance. It passed Agito, but he skillfully made the orb curve about, where it melded with Agito, disappearing within his back.

Itami glanced at Agito. He was tired and exhausted, it was visibly obvious. Itami still had reserved energy flowing through him and therefore was capable of going a few more minutes in the fight, but thought against it strictly out of laziness. He yawned and inched closer to the heart of the fire. He was warm now. It seemed Agito had drawn out all the water that stuck to his clothes. Itami was to lazy to offer gratitude for his kindness, so he just smiled. It was light outside now. The wind still howled endlessly and carried a rush of freezing temperature, but at least the sunlight gave a little mental warmth. He wasn't shivering anymore either. It was time to leave. "Well Agito, I must say im impressed. Your inhuman abilities will have many challengers curious and confused, as im no exception. Especially counting the fact that im a damn good tactical fighter. But nevertheless, its difficult to extract every detail of your motives by sheer visibility alone. Interesting characteristic I must say. As for me, I am headed to the academy. The water and ice empire needs strong soldiers, and I must work on my abilities outside the limited magic spells. If your up for it, I wouldn't mind if you tag along for the tireless journey that awaits. Hmm, in fact I'm hoping to meet someone there. Hopefully..." he trailed off and gazed at the fire, with something on his mind. After a few seconds, he snapped back to reality, looked around puzzled , then slightly relaxed. He got up and stretched, before locking his weapon under his cloak and drawing out his hand for a handshake. "It seems we part here, my friend. I hope to see you soon Agito". He smiled.

Agito shook hands with Itami. He would catch up with him momentarily. There was another place that he wanted to travel before he was to be at the Academy. He smiled, though in itself was a lie, and wished Itami the best of luck.
