PolonaA little Oddish giggled, running into the tower lookout room and hiding behind the door. Xenon would never find her here! She'd win the game again! He'd told her not to go there, but what did he know? She stood still until the distant sound of the Charizard merrily searching for her faded away and then with a meep, she hopped out and into the room to see a passed-out Gardevoir.
She'd seen him before, but not very much, and he intrigued her quite a bit. Walking forward, she got up on the couch next to his face, and sent out a vine to poke him curiously.

 Alfred
A hand lifted to wave unthreateningly at whatever was disturbing him and the Gardevoir lifted his head enough to direct his sightless gaze at the Oddish. Well, he did not know what it was yet. His Psychic had yet to calm down enough to trace any of his surroundings and his world was still quite dark. After a moment of attempting to 'see', to no avail, Alfred's head dropped back down to the pillow with a groan.

Polona"Hey!" Polona said, seeing him lift his head and set it down again. "Who are you?" The little Oddish gave him another poke, this one hard enough to be painful. Then she moved to sit on his chest. "Ces' and Xenon say that I hafta be polite to you, why's that?" she asked, her voice trailing into a higher pitch at the last words.

 Alfred
Arceus and hell fire, what did he do to deserve this? Aside from drinking uncontrollably a few hours ago. And trying to kill ******** all of you. Alfred sat up, far too quickly, and he felt the world begin to spin in rapid circles. He still wasnt lucid enough to figure out what the hell was using him as a chair. [What was it with these small grass types sitting on him?] The Gardevoir raised a hand to his head and managed to dredge up enough rational thought to make a guess. The little Oddish from that team that showed up so suddenly. "Ehn...I'm Alfred...guildmaster...kinda...sorta....head...hurts..." And back to the pillow!

PolonaLooking intently at the passed-out Gardevoir, she let out a little gasp of surprise when he actually responded. So he was the guildmaster! No wonder she was supposed to be polite to him. Nevertheless, Polona was not fond of people sleeping when she wanted them to entertain her. Pouting a little, she inched up closer until she was sitting on his head.

 Alfred
It was hard to sleep when there was a small child perched on your head. Alfred heaved a sigh before sitting up again and possibly causing the Oddish to tumble forward as he did so. "Lemme level with you, kid. I havent had a drink for some five years and even then it was just wine. My head is killing me...so...go play...or whatever..." He waved a hand to try and shoo her away, and when she didnt move the Gardevoir stood with a growl and headed out, snagging the cup of tea on the table next to him as he did. Damn kids.

  Alfred---Sasha
Orion now returned to his usual stupid-happy haze and the burden of having to explain the responsibilities of his new title to young Frost over, Alfred was free to return to the Tower only to notice it completely trashed. He had forgotten entirely his little...drunken fit from earlier until the evidence was so clearly displayed before him. Shame burned through his face and he sighed, he'd have to apologize to Tolin later for acting like such a...eh, brat. How embarassing. "Feeling better there, punk?" Oh yay, Sasha was here to make things worse. He was so fortunate to have her around. [/sarcasm] "I feel fine. Thank you." He tried to keep the bite from his voice, but it was clear that he disliked her as much as she disliked him. "Good. Maybe you can tell me what this is then." The Lucario raised a paw to indicate the hidden section in the wall that he'd uncovered earlier. "I cant read these files..." "You cant read? How startling!" "Shut up, Alfred. I meant it's in that dotty thing...brill..." "Braille?" "That's it." Alfred frowned, why was there a hidden file cabinet in a manner of writing that only a blind Pokemon could read. Naturally, when he discovered he'd never see again he decided to learn it at Teacher's insistance. Moving to stand next to the Lucario he picked a folder from the drawer at random and ran a hand over it. This one in particular was dated long before he'd lost his sight. Had the Mewtwo known it would happen and made them all in Braille to begin with or did he go back and redo them when it occurred? Either way, the Gardevoir had to most uneasiest feeling that this was all done to ensure he would be able to read them, but why? What importance did these files hold? And did he truly trust anything the Mewtwo would have written after all the chaos from before? Possibly not, but his curiosity still drove him forward and he pointed to the door, clearly telling Sasha to leave. Having seen the conflicting expressions on the Psychic's face, the Lucario didnt argue this time but shrugged and did as asked.
Several hours passed, books scattered the ground and the Gardevoir, in a horrid mood, left without reading the rest.

FrostFrost padded in just behind Alfred, feeling a little bit resentful about Tempest's misgivings to his position as Guildmaster. He could understand where she was coming from, but it certainly wasn't really fair to not even give him a fair chance. In truth, he actually had a degree of respect for the Pikachu; she was intelligent, well-respected and level-headed. He'd just have to work hard and earn the respect of his own guild, first, he supposed. Snapping back to the matter at hand, he glanced at Alfred with a silent frown, not really sure of what it was that the Gardevoir meant to say.

 Alfred
Alfred raised a hand to point to a nearby table where papers were littered as well as an unusually large sheet that was meant for him to sign. He had apparently taken into account Arcanine paw sizes and made a copy of the Guildmaster ledger that was big enough for Frost to sign. Next to it was an ink pad for the fire type to press his paw on. "Once you're done feel free to head to the meeting without me. I'll catch up..." He had other things to do first.

FrostFrost nodded slightly, stepping up to the paper. After a soft exhale of breath, the Arcanine pressed his paw into the ink pad, twitching slightly as the cool liquid spilled across his pale, icy fur. Then, with careful precision, he pressed it to the paper, and lifted it a moment later. A perfect imprint of his paw was left behind, in formal black ink. He took care to clean off his paw, before he headed out the door again, quiet as usual, so as to not disturb the obviously busy guildmaster behind him.

  Alfred---Sasha
Alfred said nothing as Frost left, there was no need. He would see him in a few moments again anyways. Passing the Arcanine on his way out, Sasha stepped in with a frown on her face and fire in her eyes. "He's just a kid." "I'm aware that thirteen is a bit young, but he will not be alone in this. He will have the support of all the guilds and his own. The kid will learn." "...and that Lopunny? What of her?" The Gardevoir said nothing, bandaging his arm yet again before leaving in a teleport. Sasha sighed and followed.

[This are time skip, yargh. Shawn are pirate, yargh.]
  Alfred---???
"Most impressive." Arriving into the Tower instantaneously the Jolteon had turned to Alfred with anodd expression. "It takes a truly powerful Psychic to be able to teleport others without physical contact." The Gardevoir shrugged, "When you get down to the basics of it we are all in physical contact, connected through the earth. It's a simple enough loophole that plenty of Psychics tend to overlook." "But not you." "No, not me. Anyways, tell me what you see." He raised a hand and pointed to a glass door across the room. The Jolteon padded forward and then narrowed his eyes past the gleam over the reflective surface to peer inside. "Nothing." "But you sense it?" "...yes. How odd." The room was simply pure white. No markings, no nothing. Like one smooth empty surface. "There is a device next to the door. Looks like some scanner of sorts with a red dot on the top. The screen says you must 'prove your identity' and then enter the 7-character password." At this Alfred shrugged once more. He'd spent hours trying to figure it out.

SerrinSerrin padded over, one vine extending to press lightly against the glass. " What do we know about the person who put it here? There had to be a reason it was locked away; any insight we have into it's jailer would be helpful." That was, of course, assuming they knew who put it there. Though from what he had gathered Alfred was an official, so it was likely he knew who sat in the office before himself. " Is it possible he left the password in his notes, or that the method is something more general?"

  Alfred---???
"Of course, sorry Serrin. I should probably explain to you." He had forgotten it was the Bulbasaur and not Tolin that was there. They had that...same...manner of speaking that made you believe they knew 'everything'. "The Pokemon who was once guildmaster here was a Mewtwo Archer. He went by Teacher. He was my mentor and apparently went mad and decided the world did not deserve to exist." Alfred was still skeptical on that after reading the journals. "Long story short, he's dead and I'm here and I've already tried passwords that I think he'd use..." He neglected to mention his more recent discovery. It wasnt important now, he didnt want anyone to know. "Well, this is a fine pickle isnt it?"

SerrinWell, his mentor then. That made is much easier, and in turn perhaps harder. Having someone close to you that knew you meant that you had to take extra steps to hide the things you wanted to. An extra, special, quiet place that not even your closest allies knew of. " Is it possible that, as your mentor, he left it to you? You've tried the passwords he would use, correct? Have you tried any that one would expect you to use? A lover, a birthplace, a special phrase... Anything?" Serrin, of course, did not know the whole story. Archer had gone mad, but that did not mean he was without compassion for his student... Anyone who had seen that Mewtwo start slaughtering innocents wouldn't have thought it for a moment.
