with the hold locked in nice and tight, brandon isn't about to release it until he has to. the way he figures it, matt will either get to the ropes, tap, or get a broken arm

Seeing as they were in the center of the ring......grabbing the ropes wasn't an option. Not to mention it was an extreme rules match so Brandon didn't have to break the hold anyway, so what was Matt going to do? Time was indeed running out as the pain increased in his arm!

Matt just isn't going to tap! He proved that by attempting to push one of Brandon's feet up just enough so he could quickly jerk his arm free!

as Matt jerks free, Brandon nips up and goes to grab the injured arm again, but this time attempts a DDT type manuever to the injured arm (forget what that move is called)

Matt was dragged up to his feet, his injured arm singled out of course. Suddenly Brandon slammed him down with an armbreaker! In which Mattflopped away from the champ, holding his arm and shouting out in pain.
((At least I think it's an armbreaker lol))

Brandon gets up, pleased with his work, but not finished yet. He quickly goes for a few stomps to the injured arm and shoulder

Matt felt waves of pain everytime Brandon landed a hard stomp into the exposed flesh of his shoulder and arm. Trying to gain some distance, Draven rolled out of the ring and stumbled into the barricade. Where upon he leaned his back against it while he seemingly nursed his injured arm.

as Matt rolls out of the ring, Brandon dashes across the ring, then dives through the ropes with a suicide dive, looking to hit Matt head first

Brandon must have misjudged the height or something a little bit, because when he crash into Draven they both somehow ended up going voer the top of the barricade and down onto the concrete on the other side! Not knowing wether that had been a planned spot or not, the crowd went apeshit anyway! They were in a cheering frenzy and their champion, the same man that had gone to war with Angel not a week before, was risking life and limb to win!

fortunately, there are no countouts in this match, but that landing was a little harder than originally intended. despite the pain, brandon pushes himself up slowly, then leans against the barricade holding his side

Matt rolled onto his side with his injured arm tucked against his stomach. That wasn't fun at all, but the crowd loved the hell out of it!
